John and I decided to head over to another freelancer bar on Soi 7 (not the beergarden). Seems as if he wanted to meet one of his buddies named Luke and give himself some time to avoid a psycho bar girl. He flat out told this girl that he was broke and could not bar fine her. She said she didn't care and wanted to be with him. Big problem.

Anyways, Luke was an interesting character..the guy was 21 yrs. old and had been in Thailand for four months and was returning to Oz the next day. An hour of Chang beer got us all plastered and in walks the girl John was trying to avoid....she was crying and telling him she loved him. She had been looking for him all day. Only in Thailand does a beautiful 21 yr. old girl become obsessive about a 48 yr old American...boggles the mind.

Eventually I left the bar and went back to hotel for quick nap before Maverick and I planned our evening. Art bars at Soi 33 for happy hour until 9 and then off to Soi Cowboy as a backup. Took a taxi to Soi 33 and immediately noticed a very quiet street with a relaxed atmosphere. The bars were much nicer on the outside and there were almost no hello girls to speak of.

Our first choice was Monet. The bar was very nice on the inside. The girls all wore blue gowns and were all behind the bar. You have to buy a 2 drink minimum to get girl to come around to drink with you. Many 7's and a couple of 8's but nothing spectacular...except one. There was one girl who looked latina...not a drop of Asian blood. This was the first of many girls I would notice that looked very Latin...very strange. Maverick noticed her right away. He had been having Mexico withdrawals and felt she would be a good cure.

This was the most stunning girl I had seen in Bangkok (second to only #72 at Dollhouse Pattaya overall). After a lengthy discussion with her, Maverick found out that the bar fine was 1,500 ($30) and that he could have her for the night for about 4000 baht (I think) but that he could not have sex with her. Huh? Just Maverick's luck that the hottest girl in Bangkok will not fuck for money. She told him that they could go out to eat or dancing but no funny business. A ficha girl in Bangkok...who knew. Maverick was so enthralled with her that he almost took her offer.

We than proceeded to Dali and Renoit. Both had impressive bars but had average looking girls dressed up in evening gowns. The only bar that had really hot girls was a place called Christies. We were there very briefly but made a note to come back another time...off to Soi Cowboy.

I gave Maverick a tour of the go go bars. Long Gun, Midnight, Baccara were all very unimpressive. He was starting to think that my bragging about Thailand was all bullshit.

Then we went to Afterskool to fullfill his and my schoolgirl fetish. Many marginally cute girls with some dead uglies for the Brits to fuck. Not many people there, so the odds were incredible. I see the girl I spent time with last Sept. and thought Maverick might like her and fortunately, he did...very much. He's got several girls straddling him and fighting for his attention...he was in heaven. Eventually I found a cutie whom kept at me for a while. These girls are a little too aggressive with drinks...always asking you to buy their ugly friends drinks.

Eventually, Maverick was off to the Naughty Boy Corner. He was there a long time and my girl had her hands down my pants for a while. I was getting ready to finish but would rather do it in the Naughty Boy corner and not in my pants. I tell my girl to tell Maverick to hurry up...30 minute hand job was enough. The corner was packed and I wanted to finish and move on. Finally, I go back there and notice a Brit fucking the ugliest girl in the bar while finger-banging the girl who was supposed to keep a look out. I couldn't help looking back during the hand job...like looking at traffic accident. Anyways..three minutes later I was back for some tequila shots and ready to head out.

I decided that I needed to rest for Pattaya the next day so I went home alone. Jet lag was starting to catch up with me. I was tempted to call the girl from Angel's Disco for a final entourage but decided it was against my butterflying ways to do so...to be continued.

I fell in love with the Soi 33 bars. Even though the women in most of the bars were usually not any better looking than Nana or Cowboy girls, I found the atmosphere and attitude far superior.
Thanks for confirming the existance of ficha girls! Even my buddies in BKK wouldn't believe me on that one! I ended up spending quite a lot of time with a couple of those ficha girls - one in the club only and the other... well, lets just say she's no longer a ficha girl (or working on Soi 33).
One of my favorite things was that they always greeted you en masse and with a nice cold towel.
I'll be writing about my Soi 33 experiences in detail soon - definitely a nice alternative to the usual beer and go-go bars!

I missed Soi 33 as most of my time in Bangkok was just passing through and NEP is too easy from the Majestic. Sounds like I need to go back and fill in some of the spots I missed ... (-:
