THE LOOK:
If your someone who avoids Asia because you don't like Asian girls or think they are not pretty then you must try Thailand to change your perspective. I have never found Japanese, Korean or Chinese girls even remotely attractive but Thai girls are a breed apart. Many books have been written about the superior beauty of Thai women in Asia but nothing can prepare you for the sensory overload that awaits you on your first trip. Nowhere in Asia is there such a diversity of looks as in Thailand. Many look like they have Indian blood and some look they are latinas. They look like a combination of latin and Asian blood but without the fat. All shades of skin color, differing eye shapes and many body types. Many girls have small tits but they have long, slender legs and gorgeous hair. There are many girls whom have natural C-cups whom weigh under 100 pounds....don't believe me then check out Playskool in Nana Plaza.
The girls in the massage parlors have lighter skin and have mixed Chinese blood. This is because Asian men prefer massage parlors to bars and they love the traditional Asian/Chinese look. Most of the girls in the go go bars are from the Northeast(Isaan) and have darker skin. The Isaan girls are shorter and have less of a nose bridge but fuller lips and bigger tits. The best of the lot are Bangkok girls whom you will see leaving school or work in their uniforms. These girls rarely work in bars but you will see them on the Sky Train and they are stunning. The most beautiful girls in Thailand come from Southern Thailand but they almost never work in bars. IMHO, the best looking girls in the bars come from Khorat. These girls have the Isaan full lips but olive skin and much thinner bodies than their Isaan sisters..they also have a nose bridge more similar to Bangkok girls. Buriram girls come in a close second as they have the Khmer/Thai mix that can create 90 pound frames with C/D tits.
When chatting with these girls it is important to get the vibe from them while sitting with them. Also important to ask if they have kids as girls with kids may have stretch marks and deflated tits.

BUTTERFLY/HELICOPTER:
The hardest thing to overcome as a first time monger is getting trapped into staying with the same girl the entire trip. If you are a guy over 45, be careful of the subtle tricks these girls will do to get money out of your wallet. If you are under 45, you are an endangered specie in Bangkok and many girls will fall in love with you instantly because they rarely meet guys they can relate to and are attracted to....this is where these girls can actually confuse lust with love. Thai girls take love very seriously and can genuinely fall in love with you fairly quick out of confusion or desperation.
Remember that the number one factor for these girls is making money. Some genuinely like you and don't want to see you with other girls but most are trying to get you to stay with them for the entire trip for money. Newbies should always ignore their remarks by the girls that you are a butterfly because you see different girls. Let these girls know that you are here on vacation and want to meet different girls. That is not to say that you cannot repeat with girls you like but be careful of her true intentions.
Note that going to the same go go bar can land you in trouble as the girl from the previous night will expect you to barfine her again. These girls use the "loss of face" thing to their benefit to land a sugardaddy but these girls also are affected by what their peers think of them so use tact and discretion in picking multiple girls from the same bar. Guys whom are younger normally have problems with stalker girls because younger guys are usually better looking and are rare in Thailand. A girl sees a younger guy from America and thinks she has found the motherlode.

LOVE IN THAILAND:
I have been victim to this several times and I am a seasoned monger. To say that all Thai girls are there for money only is preposterous. Many jaded expats try to fill up newbies heads with horror stories but many of them are 65 year-old guys with 25 year old girlfriends and have relationships doomed to failure from the start.
These girls are extremely sweet will give you affection like you have never seen but follow their actions and mannerisms to see whether their feelings are true before falling in love. The true initial test to determine if the love is genuine is to do the BLAZERS test: Look at the girl and then look at yourself in the mirror. If you cannot get this girl in the real world then the odds are highly stacked against you. She may love you now but will she still love you when the money runs out?

GIRLS TO AVOID:
These type of girls may be good for short-time monkey sex but do not fall for their bullshit. If they have a cell phone and answer it more than once while they are with you...drop them. Avoid girls with tatoos, hooker belts and girls who wear faded jeans with high-heel sandals. If they smoke, they have worked the bar too long. Look at their eyes to see if they use drugs. I hunt for the innocent girls but many times these girls lack experience and you may not have time to teach them. If a girl starts talking dirty to you right away...drop her. If she asks for money up front...drop her. If she starts watching television and ignores you...send her back. You are the customer and you call the shots.

THE COST:
This varies on the venue and how hot the girl is. For go go bars, you must pay a 500-600 barfine for the girl to leave. Drinks can vary from 60-80 baht for you drink and 120-160 baht for hers. Good idea to check out happy hour prices, especially at the Soi 33 bars. Girls at the go go bars should be paid 1,000-1,500 for short time and 1,500 to 2,500 for long time...depending on performance and how hot she is. The girls at Nana Plaza will ask for outrageous prices because they have been spoiled by Singapore and Japanese clients who have no clue about the price structure and pay up to 6,000 baht for short time. The freelancer girls are about 500 baht less for short time and long time, depending on how hot the girl is. The massage prices vary greatly so it is best to research each particular massage place before going.

GIFTS:
It is a good idea to bring gifts from home to give to girls that are good to you. Thailand has everything we have but you might want to bring some lotions, small perfume bottles, candy, etc. Also a good idea to pick up a bunch of American flag shirts from Old Navy as they are 5 bucks each and the girls love American stuff. Remember to buy Extra Small size.
While in Bangkok, it is a good idea to buy flowers for a girl you particularly like. Their are several large flower markets near the Chao Praya River on the last Sky Train Stop. Five dozen white or yellow long stem roses will set you back about 45 baht ($1). Most flowers cost about 15-20 baht for a bunch. When a girl is offering free sex, it's a nice gesture.
Whatever you do, do not buy a bar girl gold. As soon as you leave, she will go to the nearest pawn shop to retrieve her falang winnings. Perfume and flowers are a better idea. If your girl starts to direct you to gold shops. Drop her immediately and find another girl. Some of the hardened Isaan girls are only their to accumulate as much money as possible until they can buy a home in Isaan and reunite with their child and Thai boyfriend. These girls are fun for short time but avoid any emotional connnection. If the girls doesn't give you any sad stories and is generally honest and sweet, then you can stick with her.

OVERALL CULTURAL NOTES:
Most of these girls will give you a Wai when they meet you or thank you. A Wai is when a girl bows to you with her hands in a prayer position with the top of her fingers close to her eyes. It is a gesture of respect for those they consider in higher status. DO NOT WAI BAR GIRLS. She will be confused and everyone will think your insane. I only Wai monks and old people(Except Ben). Remember that status and face are important to these girls so treat them with respect and kindness and you will receive it back tenfold.
THE TRICKS:
It is OK to give a girl your e-mail address and keep in contact with her but do not send her money unless you plan on permanency with her. She will give you all kinds of stories about sick buffaloes, broken motorcycles or sisters who have to pay for college. Girls who ask you for money early are no good and usually have other boyfriends whom also send them money and will use that money to pay for their Thai boyfriends gambling and drinking habits. Do not turn into Superman, these girls chose this life.

Blazers - thanks for the low-down on the girl scene. I made the mistake of paying 1000 fee + 5000 Baht tip for a two-hour massage and love fest. Maybe 1000 Baht parlor fee plus a 1000-1500 tip would have been better, although the girl definately gave me the royal treatment?

I have done all of my mongering in latin america thus far but have heard the rants about thailand. I am hoping that as a get closer to being ready i might be able to ride one of my fellow mongers coattails for my first trip. I met a guy recently in Costa Rica that says he goes often and would accompany me but my experiences with him in CR leave me wondering what his real value might be. I was wondering, does these gals have a problem with anal?
