After some decent rest, I decided it was finally time for me to start making the rounds at the daytime venues. One of my favorite things about San Jose is that is has a relatively strong 24 scene. During business hours from about 9am to 6pm, there are a number of inexpensive brothels which cater mostly to locals. I would begin my tour of these Tico establishments today.

I must stress that you do not walk drunk when you go to these places. Even in the daytime, crime can take place, and it won't be worth the $1 US it costs to take a cab. If you do walk, go with others when possible, and always keep alert.

My plan was to go all the way to 747, a place I was already familiar with, and work my way back. However, after walking past Jocelyn on Avenida 7, I paused for a few minutes and then decided to go in. The cover to get in was about 500 colones, maybe 550, a little over $1 US. I paid the guy, then walked down the short hall and around a corner to the right into a bar.

Only three ladies were present, one was working behind the bar. The bartender was very skinny, but fair looking. An overweight Tica sat in one of the seats along the wall across from the bar. A pretty Tica sat smoking at a table near the entrance. The bartender was friends with the pretty Tica and joined her after serving me a beer. I sat for a while pondering my options. Although pretty, the Tica I was interested in didn't seem particularly interested in working, but then again the price was only 6500 colones, roughly $17 US.

I decided I couldn't really pass up a pretty Tica for $17, so I invited her over. She introduced herself as Michelle. After a short conversation, I agreed to take her back to one of the rooms. I had to pay the fee directly to the bartender who wrote up a small ticket. Michelle and I walked into another hall and into one of the rooms.

The room was rather bland, a step down from the rooms at Idem. Besides the bed, we had a chair and a lamp. The room was also relatively hot. I knew not to expect much with the rooms at the price I was paying.

Michelle was fun, but not very passionate. I could have shot with her, but decided to save the bullet and continue the tour. I explained that it was too hot in the room and I didn't want to have any more sex. We had some friendly chat for a little while longer before getting dressed. I gave her a hug and peck on the cheek and left the room and the brothel.

I continued East on Avenida 7 past Club 40 and Krysis massage parlor. Kyrsis was open, but I was set on checking out 747. I turned right on Calle 4 (North) and stood in front of 747. There was a purple building with a Tico standing out front to the right of 747. The map mentioned that there was a brothel next to 747 named ChaChaCha. I asked the Tico the name of the place, but I couldn't understand his response. I thanked him when I didn't understand the second time, and then went to 747.

I got stuck at the door of 747 for a few moments. A lady sitting across from the door motioned to the handle, but I didn't understand her at first. I then reached between the bars and unlatched the lock to open the door. Seats were lined up along all four walls. A Tico sat next to the door in the room with the ladies. I sat in a seat opposite the door, to the left of lady that motioned to the latch. She was black and seated next to a friend of hers. Both were overweight. More overweight ladies were seated to my left, one had an acceptable face. Across from me were two that were sharing headphones attached to a walkman. A relatively attractive brunette with fair skin was one of them, but she hardly looked at me and never smiled. In fact, all the ladies looked really bored and lifeless. I sat for a while just observing. A few ticos came and left. I saw a Tico exit the building from a separate door past the entry. Eventually an older gentleman that appeared to be American walked in. I eventually appoached him to talk.

Mac gave me some of the details about the place. The price was only 4100 colones for about 30 minutes, roughly $10. The selection was spotty, but they had a reputation for good BBBJs. He told me he had just came from the purple house and sessioned with a 22 year old Nica named Patricia. Mac raved about her body, she hadn't given birth yet, and said she gave excellent service. He also complimented the facilities and offered to take me there if I was interested. I accepted his friendly offer.

We entered the door of the purple house and were in a hall facing a booth with a young Tico inside. We entered a room to our right that had a wall mounted TV and was lined with couches. The furnishings were much nicer and looked more comfortable with the ladies. It seemed kind of surprising that the place next door couldn't take some suggestions from this place. Mac called Patricia over and asked her to give me a tour. She was attractive as Mac had described. Patricia took my hand and led me down the hall into one of the rooms. The room she showed me was suprisingly nice for a local brothel. We continued down the hall past more rooms, then she brought me back to Mac. We thanked her and sat down to talk. We swapped various stories and such. Some Ticos and some tourists walked in, but no one took a lady. Mac was ready to leave, so I thanked him and told him I would hang out and probably take Patricia. Mac gave me a card to his hotel and wrote down his name and room number. I was going to try to meet him at Vips 2 in the late evening.

Patricia started playing cards, so I let her finish her game before inviting her to sit with me. We talked for a couple minutes before I said I'd like to take her to the room. I found out the name of the place from Patricia, it is Casa Lily.

I was further impressed when her clothes came off, she didn't have a lot in her chest, but her hips were flawless with no kids. She gave a good BJ and felt nice during sex, but she wasn't passionate and didn't kiss. I could have climaxed in doggie given the spectacular view, but decided to delay the bullet even longer when I thought we were going to run over time. We did indeed get a knock while we were taking a shower.

Jimmy didn't care where we ate as long as it wasn't fast food, so he left the decision to me. My first choice was a place called Cafe Mundo on Calle 15 and Avenida 9, but I decided against it when I saw that reservations were recommended. I then decided on Manolos on Avenida Central, it was within walking distance.

Manolos was a nice place to dine. The host out front asked what level we'd like to dine on, there are three. The second level had a limited menu for some reason. We decided on the ground level at a table facing the busy street. We both ordered filet mignon with mushrooms, a hearty portion of good food at an inexpensive price. We liked Manolos a lot. We also got to overhear a conversation between two churchgoing male tourists. It was obvious that we were on our vacations for different reasons. They were talking about having wives, but appeared very gay when they signaled over some maricachis to sing for them. That was a little amusing.

After dinner, we headed back to the Del Rey where Jimmy was entranced by a blond Panamanian named Leah. I told him I recognized her from my participation on ClubHombre and that her photos were some of the most highly rated Costa Rica photos here. She was busy with a customer and I wished him luck in trying to find her free. In both of our opinions, she was much more attractive than most of the other ladies. I figured she'd be snatched up immediately if he wasn't waiting for her.

Jimmy and I hung out for a while before it was time to meet Mac. Jimmy decided to stay in the hopes that Leah would free up, so I took a cap to Vips 2 alone. Vips 2 is on the corner of Calle 2 and Avenida 10 in a bad part of town. You should be fine inside, but be careful about walking in that area, especially at night.

I paid the cover charge which was good for the first beer. Mac was sitting at the bar when I walked in. I didn't see him at first, but he called out my name. When you walk in you are facing the end of the bar. A stage for dance performances is to the right. Part of the bar is recessed to the right of the stage behind the entrance. Mirrors and bar stools run along the recessed area and a doorway leads to the short time rooms. The whole bar area is very dark.

We weren't very impressed with the ladies, but one stood out from the rest. I couldn't see her face too well, but the body was sleek and shapely. Mac was eyeing a blond that he knew from before. She was probably in her late 30s to early 40s, but her body was very nice. Mac said she fucked like crazy and was a sure thing for him. He didn't want to hang out too long so he decided to take the blond back. I told him I'd probably take the dark brunette with the nice body and see him shortly after he came out. He walked over and said something to her, and they both quickly vanished into the back.

I approached the brunette. Even close up it was hard to see her well in the light of the club. I got her name as Raquel, but I had no idea where she said she was from after a couple attempts. She sounded like she was saying Nicaraguazy. I asked if she was from Nicaragua and she said no. I tried to engage in some other small talk, but she seemed uninterested and uninteresting, so I soon walked away. The price was right here, but I wasn't feeling anything and decided to just wait for Mac. He reappeared about 20 minutes or so later and asked if I was done. I told him the story.

Mac explained that many would not engage in small talk, but should perform adequately in the room, and that it was still a good deal for the price. All I needed to do was say "Vamos". After some additional prompting, I dediced to go ahead and try out Raquel.

I approached Raquel and said "vamos", then followed her into the short room hall. At this point I got to see Raquel under normal lighting. The body was still nice, but had I gotten a better look at the face earlier, I never would have went with her. She led me to one of the rooms which was about as plain and unimpressive as I expected. Raquel performed adequately with a good BJ and a decent ride, but I wasn't attracted to her enough to really get into it. After about 15 minutes of sex, I lost the urge and said I wanted a little more of a massage which she gave.

Mac was waiting outside and asked how it went, I told him she performed well enough, but that I really wasn't attracted to her after I got a better look. Around the fifth time I told him, when we had made another wrong turn, he said, oh the "Hotel Del Rey". I don't know what that was about, but I sure was annoyed. He apologized several times on the way there.

Jimmy was back at the Del Rey looking for a date. He's very indecisive like me. We spotted a number of options, but none that really grabbed us. Finally we were sitting at the bar checking out a petite brunette when an opportunity arose. A young attractive Amerioan was trying to "take charge" of the young lady by telling her want to do. They had been talking and he wanted her to sit a certain way so he could admire her legs. He thought he was showing his manhood, but he really just pissed her off. It was rather amusing because the guy thought he was a stud and she was obviously fed up with him. She spoke to me, saying he was loco. Then he spoke to me, telling me that she would come around. She ended up completely ignoring him, even when he said he was willing to pay her $100.

It was getting late and Jimmy and I were both interested in the young lady who introduced herself as Sonya. Jimmy couldn't believe this guy had blown it so badly with her. She looked very cute, but didn't have too much of a personality. Since it was Jimmy's first trip, I told him to go for it if he wanted, but he ended up deciding to call it a night. After Jimmy left, I spoke with Sonya a while longer before inviting her back to the hotel for $80.

Sonya didn't kiss, but otherwise she was very sensuous and sexy. I had a blast with Sonya, but only for the hour. After she left, I cleaned up a little to get ready to switch hotels the next day before I went to sleep.
