Monday

Our deal on fishing was that We charterd a 44 foot for two days with two outher people to share the cost. We are to be picked up at 5:30 and taken to the west cost about 80 clicks. This boat works out of a resort called Porta Laone. The phone rings at 5:00 , there is a storm and the capt. does not want to go out

Then the double wammie the outher people cancel for tomorow also. I tell the agent that I will take the boat myself on tusday.

Go back to bed and sleep late. Ok time for plan B. I call girl #2 Rose and ask if she will help me do some shopping for gifts back home. What girl can resist shoping,she says yes,and shows up on time at 11:00. We hit the stores and go through my list like Sherman to the Sea. At one point I ask her to pick out anything she would like for herself. She asked if she could buy somthing for her sister who was pregnent. I am touched. A working girl with a hart of gold. after my list is compleat I take her to lunch at a nice place Downtown. We talk an talk and start to tell personal things about each outher.We walk back to the hotel. I have some things I bought at the duty free store in Houston, So I give her a bottle of nice prefume. Wish you could see the look on her face. I tell You for the next three hours she made me feel like a king. When she is about to leave she will not take any money from me. We agree to have dinner when I return from fishing tomorow night.

I go to the Del Ray to find my partner, He is playing some kind of poker We go out for some chinese. A place about 5 blocks from the hotel called Tim Ho We had a great meal highly recomend It.

Tuesday

Our drivers name is Victor Rojas. He is there ten min early. So off we go. Now for those of you who may not have ever been here, A few words on driving. Beeing driven is better then a E-ticket Ride a Disney. Sort of first horn at the cornor has the right of way. Drivers do not see yellow lines or trafic signs. Add to this the fact the road to the beach is a narrow two lane over the mountians with a shear drop on one side and no sholder on the other,and lots fo on coming traffic.

I will make the fishing report short . Zip til noon. then fish on my first sail fish. At gives me about a 25 min fight shes a 8-9 Ft We take some fotos and back in the water she goes. Its quiet till 2:30 when we git into a school of mahe-mahe. We take 16, thirty to fifty lbs. plus three wahoo. a great day of fishing.

We go back over the mountian and get back in San Jose at 8:00 pm. I call Rose and she will join me for a late dinner. We go to a steakhouse 1/2 a block from the President. Good food agine . I have not had a bad meal the hole time I have been here. We go to the room, have sex, and I am out like a light. She gently wakes me. We say our good buys. When shes not looking I put some money in her purse.

Wednesday

Dave picks us up to take us to the airport. We have one more stop to make. We go to the Harley-Davidson store and buy some shirts. The plane leaves 45 min late. But We have a two hour lay over in Houston so its not a proublem. Thus ends My first trip to Costa Rica. One I will remember for a long time or untill the next one.
