wanted to pass along some info from my recent trip to amsterdam and brussels. i was traveling with some non-mongers so didn't get to enjoy as much as i wanted but still managed to hit the RLD a few times.

the "new" cost is 50E for the 15 minute suck and fuck. as most of you probably know, this usually allows you only one fuck position and the gal may not bare her breasts. for 100E, the service seemed to vary a bit. one gal still held the clock at 15 minutes but took top off and allowed multiple positions. most gals gave 30 minutes, top off, multiple positions.

my advice on finding the right gal is to try a few out with the 50E program on your first day. then, when you find one with a decent attitude, go back in with the 100E program.

you can buy herbal viagra (called Sigra) in the smart shops there (the one's that sell mushrooms and X). it was 16E for two pills. i've tried viagra a few times (25mg and 50mgs) and sigra seems better to me. it seems to be more mild and lasts longer - i didn't get too flushed and could feel the effects from the night before during my nooner sessions the following day. i took one pill at a time. not every smart shop had the sigra so you may need to hit a couple of them. the one i went to was directly across the canal from The Greenhouse in the RLD. i think you can get info on the net about sigra if you want, try entering sigra and hit search.

as far as gal recommendations, i saw several of the same gals that were there during my trip last november. it was nice to repeat with the gals i knew were good providers. since there are so many windows, it is hard to tell first time monger visiters which one they are in (the gals almost always work the same window for quite awhile). if one of you is going over soon and you know the layout of the RLD, e-mail me on this site and i'll tell you where to find maria and martina (my two favorites). this could save you some $$ in trying to find the winners.

i also checked out the RLD in brussels. it is on a street which is adjacent to the Brussels-Nord train station. i believe it is the backside of the station. if you walk toward track 12, you'll see an exit sign. follow that to the street and you are in the RLD. cross the street and walk to your left (the train station will be on your left and the windows on your right). unfortunately, the gals are not good at all. i was disgusted by most of them and didn't take any down. i was there on a saturday at about 4:30 in the afternoon. the area was a little seedy and i wasn't too thrilled about going back later at night by myself. if i was with someone, i would've done it (i'm a white american guy and the neighborhood appears to be middle eastern so wasn't real excited to walk through there given the current state of affairs).

50 Euros... So right now the Euro = .89 USD. That about $45 USD. Did we just get screwed (not literally) by the switch to the Euro? Last time I was out there the 15-minute suck/fuck with a hottie was 100 Guilders. The average girls charge 50 to 100 guilders. Then the conversion was 1 Guilder = .345 USD.

I'll be heading out there for a weekend in May. I have some business in the UK so I thought I'd make an Amsterdam run. Thanks for the quick update… (prog)

prog, you are correct - the gals got us. when i was there last nov, i was obviously aware of the pending conversion and my buddy and i figured 40E would be about right (100 GLD divided by 2.5 was $40US). so we lost about $10US on 15 min and $20 on the 30 min (i consider the E and USD to be 1 to 1 for simplicity, close enough).

i asked two of the gals about this "hey, it seems like you've increased your prices". both said "no, the exchange between the E and the GLD was 2 to 1 so 100GLD = 50E." i'm not a rocket scientist or a foreign currency expert, so i couldn't really figure out how that related to the USD and me paying more !!!!!!

interestingly, i saw an article in the international herald while i was over there. it mentioned that the window prostitutes had increased their prices for the first time in a long, long time, from 25E to 35E. i didn't hear any quotes at 35E, but there are some windows that cater to the locals and aren't in the RLD or well known to outsiders.

needless to say, asia is the best action for the $$ by a wide margin over TJ and Amsty. no question about it.

Progman: Yes ! Yes ! we got screwed in all the EU countries. NL/DE/BE/FR the rounding error of convenience has them inflate their prices even in the times of economic downturn.
