Sorry for the delay, but I had a low period after my return to the states. This trip started in Aug 2000 when I returned from Costa Rica after my first trip. So strong was my desire to return.

I live in the Midwest and have, shall we say family obligations. So a trip every few months will not work for me. But with the help of three friends a fishing trip was arranged. This is my account of that trip. I am including some details of the fishing part for those who might enjoy the great fishing that Costa Rica enjoys.

Our day started at 2:45 AM. Need to be at the airport at 4 to make a 6AM flight (I HATE O SAMA!). We arrive in Houston late. We must go from Terminal B to D which I believe is in another county. We reach the gate with airline people waving us on. Handing us Gatorade as we pass. We get to our seats and I am hoping for the Oxygen mask to fall. Now a word from our sponsor. Continental has what I consider to be comfortable international flights. A little more roomy, Shrimp dinner, two Baileys no charge, and a free movie. We arrive San Jose on time. I am thrilled to be back (Goose Bumps). Immigration and Customs was a breze, but a really long wait for our bags.

Our Reservations were made through Costa Rica Outdoors. There van was ready and waiting at the door. The driver takes us to their office. We are seated on a nice patio and given Imperials all around. We meet Jerry Ruthlow the owner, he goes over our itinerary with us and gives us our vouchers. He has us staying at the Del Ray (Go figure).

We pull up to that beautyfull pink hotel at 3:30 PM. We are staying one night and returning five days later to stay two more nights. I draw a room on the 2nd floor east side above the taxi stand. For one night this is ok. The last time down I stayed at the President. I know that we can debate the merits of each. Having stayed at both I would call it a push. I would be happy to stay at either place.

Its time to unpack. I have brought with me two Pocket Rockets , Three bottles of perfume, assorted black hosiery ,one travel size Astrolube,and one 4” glow in the dark vibe(I had too much time to think about this trip). I step out the door and get on the (as one member calls it) HO-vater. One floor to heaven.

Its peek season, four thirty Friday afternoon the bar is already full. I find one empty stool. I am immediately approached by a lady with dirty blond hair who we will call “D”.

(I have not been here 30 seconds) Now with out wrecking your day I am not a stud muffin. Lets just say that I am older and rounder than most. I also believe what another member said “It’s better to let the girl pick you”. Also it doesn’t hurt when she says BJ no condom. The offer, two hours, massage and bbbj . Eighty dollars. It’s starting to come back to me, why I must return to CR.
