We get to the room and I have her select her gift packet, she is pleasantly surprised. Now its rub a dub dub, two consenting adults in the tub. She then keeps all her promises from down stairs. I like to join in and do my part. Not this time, this is all about me and that’s ok it’s been a long day. After she removes all the venom from the one eyed snake. I thought that I would nod of to bed y buy. I must be running on just adrenalin. We say good buy I promises to buy her a drink when I return on Thursday. Its time to meet my friends for dinner.

We decide on Tin Ho good food and service. The meal was excellent and they allowed us to pay in USD. Now Tin Ho just happens to be a half a block from the Idem bar. Which some say is the second best place to meet ladies. I introduce the Boys to Roberto and show him my card from Jay at Costa Rica SexGuide and tell him that I personally know every one at Hombray, Dexter, TSM, and WSG. He kisses me on both cheeks and asks what’ll you have? I have to tell him we will be back, because dinner has finally done me in. We sadly leave and go back to the Del Ray. In four hours we are off to the airport.

A word about Sanasa airline ”Small”. In Costa Rica there is two ways to travel the country by road or by air. If you go by road your choices are Public Bus, Hire a Driver and Rent a car. By Road you are 4 to 8 hours from anywhere. Your second choice is by air. Scheduled Flights or Charter. Charter is about three times the price per person. So there in some advantage with numbers. The bottom line is you are about 25 min. from anywhere in the country.

The plane sets down at Rio Colorado, A small town at the mouth of the Rio Colorado River. At this location both sides of the river are in CR, but a few miles up river it becomes the border with Nicaragua. There are three fishing lodges located here. The Silver King, The Casa Mar, and The grand daddy The Rio Colorado Lodge.

The lodge is owned by Dan Wise a Mississippi lawyer who has had the place for 9 years. He fell in love with it when he was representing the former owner in a law suite. It seams that a costumer fell out of a boat in the river and was eaten by a shark. Wile I have no way to know if it is true or not, we were given a stern reminder of the merits of wearing life jackets. If you a so inclined you can walk the short distance to town for some monger activity at a bar called Memo’s. (Shots required on return) We were served Breakfast and introduced to our Guides. A change of clothes and we were fishing by 8AM.

To make a long story longer we caught four tarpon. Three in the 80-90 lb range. And one 1and1/2 hour tag teem affair that went 130 lb. It is catch and release; you keep a scale from the fish you get to the boat.

Monday morning back on the plane to San Jose. Change planes and were off to the pacific cost. This time it’s a small town on the northern pacific cost called Playa Carrillo near Samara. We are staying at a hotel owned by three Italian’s The Swano Tropical.

Clean, Air Conditioned, and has of all things an Italian Restaurant’s good here to.

The first day fishing is a disappointment we catch only one sailfish. The cap of the boat makes reservations for us at a local restaurant. There specialty is a seafood served family style. They ask you what you would like to drink and bring a new bottle to the table. When the evening is over they guesstamate how much to charge you. (Too many westerns). The second day we do a lot better 19 sailfish and one Dorado which we take back to the hotel and have the chef fix it for Dinner.

Tomorrow our last two days in San Jose.
