I like Thailand, Land of Smiles (LOS). Recently, I’ve been to BKK in the early April 2002. Last time was February. This report is about my recent visit in April.

As a frequent visitor, my favorite establishments are Deliah(MP), Mirage(MP), Champs Elysees(MP), Pegasus(Membership club), CM2(Disco club), and Ministry of Sound(Disco club).

Day 1 (April 4, 2002)
I arrived to the BKK int’l airport at 2PM. I went directly to mobile rental booth to rent a mobile phone. To do so, you can keep in touch with BKK girls who you like conveniently, wherever you are. At most it costs you 250 baht per day plus phone call charge. Total cost is less than 1,000 baht for my 3-day rental. It is worth money. I recommend. Please try!!!

I got a taxi ticket (600baht) in a taxi booth. Then I reached Centerpoint Sukhumvit on Sukhumvit soi 12 (Sip-Swang), where I booked one-bedroom suite (Type 1) on the internet at a rate of 2,800 baht per day. Good location nighttime action and cheap rooms (less than 2,000 baht for studio) but rather aged rooms like Grand President on Sukhumvit soi11 (Sip-Et). Near Darling, Q bar, Onze club, Eden club, Beer garden, MOS ….. In my opinion, of serviced APT on Sukhumvit road, the best one is Emporium suites on Sukhumvit soi 24 (Yii-Sip-Sii) near Phrom Pong BTS station. Rooms are bigger and well-equipped. But expensive, around US$100 per day for studio.

After I checked in, I went to Deliah in Plaza Entertainment Complex on Makkasan road, which has the decent girls. Rather expensive, 2,800 baht ~ 3,200 baht for 1.5 hour session, but nice girls with great body. Almost the same price as Poseidon sideline and low-end model girls on the third floor of model lounge.

Next, I went to check out Onze club on Sukhumvit soi 11. Formerly Global club. Opening under the name of Onze club in December, 2001. Please don’t go there. It’s rip-off. The lady’s drink 300 baht per 45 min but you should pay addition 300 baht, if lady orders drink actually. Totally 600 baht per 45 min. Moreover, reception girl’s drink started from 4 drinks (1,200baht) and if girl orders drink actually, additional 300 baht. Although, in fact reception girls who are in the entrance of this club are better than ladies who are waiting to be chosen by you in the main lobby, it is very expensive. The quality of girls disappointed me. I stayed there for less than one hour, I paid about 2,000 baht including entrance fee 700 baht per person with two drinks. I drank only two Heineken and didn’t choose reception girl. Avoid Onze!!! If you want membership club, go to Pegasus, Piano, Chateau Blanc or Butler. As a reference, lady take-out fee is 10 drinks, 3,000 baht and membership fee is 30,000 baht for a year including 10 bottles of Chivas Regal or 12 bottles of Jonnie Walker Black Label, and 20% discount on total amount.

The final choice of Day 1 was CM2 in Novetel CM2. As you know, CM2 has so many freelancers. The usual price is 2,500 baht ~ 3,000 baht for LT or 1,500 baht for ST. I think girls in CM2 have much better look and attitude than those in Siam Coffee Shop. If you choose girl in Siam Coffee Shop for LT, don’t pay first. If you do so, she will wanna go home after the first round saying that her mother is sick, or something like that. If she insists that you pay first, let her go. Don’t worry. You can go to Siam Coffee Shop again or call escort services. But, girls in CM, Spasso or Rivas don’t go home till morning, and don’t insist that you pay first as long as you don’t stay at dirty and bad hotel. In CM2, I chose a girl of 7 with a cute face and settled 3,000 baht for LT. She stayed until the late afternoon.

Day 2 (April 5, 2002)
I did shopping in Pantip plaza near World Trade center, and picked up some music CDs of Thai female singers such as Nicole, Nat, Tong…., which cost me 130 baht per each CD.

I went to Poseidon on Rachada, and checked fish bowl on the second floor and model lounge on the third floor. I selected a model girl in the model lounge. (3,200 baht for 1.5 hour session) She has a great body, but not good service. It is general that fish bowl girls provide better service than model girls.

Then I headed to Pegasus in Sukhumvis soi 23(Yii-Sip-Sam). Nice time with two nice girls there. I chose one girl for only chatting and one model girl, and decided to take out the model girl. Although I am a member of Pegasus, I spent so much money. Barfines 2,000 baht for the model girl and 5,000 baht for two girls’ drinks and room. Very expensive club, but I like Pegasus. We went to a disco club, MOS in Sukhumvit soi 12(Sip-Swang). We ordered 2,500 baht whiskey package including some Singha beers. Great music!!! Great dance!!! Around 2AM, I came back to my hotel with her.

Day 3 (April 6, 2002)
When I woke up at 12PM, she was still sleeping. I had additional fun with her, and let her go. I went for a swim, and relaxed for couple of hours at the swimming pool. I checked out, and headed toward Mirgae in Rachada. I selected one sideline girl, and had last-minute fun in BKK. After that, I met yesterday’s Pegasus girl for only chatting. In fact, she promised to meet me before her going to work. We had some dinner at a restaurant in Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. Then I should go to the airport and she should go to work.

That’s all about my visit to BKK in April 2002.

Thanks for the report. I'm surprised you got the 600 baht taxi ticket, it's less expensive if you walk outside.

You mentioned a lot of places not normally covered here, I'd be interested in hearing more about CM2 and any escort services you might recommend after the bars have closed.

Yeah, my eyebrows rose at the 600 Baht taxi charge as well. I always hail a cab outside on the main road, averting all the airport surcharges. A ride usually costs me between 150-200 to Sukhumvit.

Like Dart, I'm curious to hear more about these places as well, particularly CM2. Anyplace loaded with freelancers is appealing to me.

You can hail a cab outside the airport at less 200 baht. But to use a taxi booth is more convenient because cab drivers who work for taxi booth can speak English. If you are a new-comer to Thailand, I recommned taxi booth. The reason that I use taxi booth is that they don't rip me off and I can reach my hotel more quickly. In some case, cab drivers ouside deceive you by going around BKK.

As far as I know, freenlancer pick-up points are as follows;

Disco club
1)Rivas : Shearton Grande Sukhumvit (1st floor)
2)Spasso : Grand Hyatt Erawan (1st floor), Entrance fee 500 baht (Fri ~ Sat)
3)CM2 : Novotel Siam (Basement). Don¡¯t be confused. There are two entrances at the basement. One on east side is for CM2. Russian girls are also available. cover chare. Entrance fee : 100 baht (Sun ~ Thu), 200 baht (Fri ~ Sat) (40% discount on the first drink),
4)Angel disco : Nana hotel.
5)Sparks : Emerald Hotel (Basement) on Rachadapisek road. Many MP girls after their work hang out there to do a side job. The best time to visit is between 12AM ~ 2AM.

Coffee shop
1)Siam Hotel : On Petchaburi road (across the Japanese embassy). So many freelancer girls. The best time is around 2AM. I saw even a high school student there. However, I don¡¯t like it. Some girls there insist to pay first to go home after the first round, even if I settle for LT. Actually not home but Siam Hotel again.
2)Grace Hotel, Mike Place Hotel: On Sukhumvit soi 3. Famous as a freelancer coffee shop for Arab man. Now the quaility of girl is worse than before. The best time is around 2AM. I heard that some Russian girls are available. I have never seen them there.

Beer Bar
1)Bamboo beer bar : On Sukhumvit soi 3, Famous Pool bar. You can chat and play pool game with freelancer girl there, and go out with her.
2)Beer Garden : On Sukhumvit soi 7, Day time action is also possible.

Standrad price for freelancer girls is up to 3,000 baht for LT and 1,500 baht for ST. You can negitiate at lower price than these.

As I mentioned, I think escort services in BKK is the final step for your action. Even rather expensive. Standard girl is about 5,000 baht for LT. Model class girl is 7,000 baht or more for LT.

I didn't make any comment on Thermae (between Sukhumvit s0i 13 and 15), becuase I guess it is very famous on this site. You can pick up freelancer girls there. Recently, I heard there is not so many girls as before after 2AM, because of Taksin's powerful enforcement of anti-prostitution policy. Under the new policy, most of establishments should be closed at 2AM.

Your price of 3000TB for LT and 1500TB for ST seems very expensive for a freelancer. I would expect that kind of price for a 'high end' bar girl, or a 'economy escort'.

My general rule of thumb is 1000TB for ST and 2000TB for LT. Grated that I'll often add 500TB for service above and beyond, but that's a judgement call.

As always, YMMV. And, please don't feel like I'm starting a 'price war'. That's not my point. I simply feel that a sound level of expectation is a good thing when entering this discussion. Each guy has his own model, and prices WILL vary from guy to guy, and girl to girl. I simply do not see starting out on the high side of the spectrum. If a girl gives great service, or you have a fantastic experience, by all means, tip accordingly!

This is just range of price.I mean by this that maximum price for freelancer girls is 3,000 baht for LT and 1,500 baht for ST. As I meant, surely you can get a freelancer girl at a lower price than 3,000 baht and 1,500 baht.
