5/28/03 - Cebu

Got tired of rain and decided to head to Cebu. Booked a business class via PAL for P3668. Stayed at the VIP lounge for couple of hours and had complimentary snacks and drinks. Flight was comfortable and service was very good. Took an airport taxi for P195 and arrived at the Holiday Plaza Hotel, Standard – P1000, Deluxe – 2000, Suite – 3000, rooms were very basic. Took a cab to Midtown Hotel and had the driver wait while I checked the rooms, Deluxe – 1700, Suite – 4000+, good location with Robinson’s Plaza underneath but rooms were basic. Finally went to Marriott and got a nice room with a view for P1800, I was satisfied.

Settled in and walked to Ayala mall to withdrew some cash then took a cab to Kiwi Lodge. Friendly owner but the bar had no aircon. Met a gregarious Englishman and was invited to bar hop with him. Went to Silver Dollar around 10 PM and talent was seriously lacking. Got up and we went to Thunderdorm. English gent thought it was a rip-off bar so I asked for the bill after ordering drinks, P90 for his beer and P180 for my mango juice. I paid for the bill and went to Volvo. It’s a sister bar of Thunderdorm. They added P100 cover charge for each and the drinks were P100 or so, but the talents were better than any other bars that I’ve visited in Philippines so I decided to stay. Mamasan initially quoted me 4500 barfine and later said 4000 inclusive of girl’s fee.

Bought my lady a drink for P450. Waitress pushed to buy a mamasan a drink and I said I’ll give her a tip instead and received no more pressure. Englishman soon disappeared. Picked up the tab and left the bar with my honey in tow. She was only 18 and an orgasmic chick. She had the right moves on and off the dance floor, if you know what I mean. Couple of nice sessions and gave her additional P600 in the morning. She wanted to come back later that day but I made an excuse.


5/29/03 - Cebu

Marriott has a decent gym and a small swimming pool by the basement level. Weather was a bit windy but at least no rain. Walked around a bit around 8AM. I ended up in one of the commercial buildings nearby where I thought it was an Internet Café. Received a warm greeting from a very cute young lady. It was apparently an ISP and not an Internet Café. We had a small talk and she offered me her phone number. If I had more time in PI, I may have pursued her.

Took a metered cab to PAL office in SM City and bought an open business class ticket to Manila for P3683. Took a cab to Robinson’s Plaza and had lunch from the Food Court. This is the smallest place out of the three mentioned. Took a cab to Ayala and did some shopping. There seemed to be some kind of event everyday from this mall. There was a fashion show today. Finished shopping and went to hotel to be refreshed. Took a cab about 7 PM and went bar hopping with the driver. Apparently we were too early, bars were starting to open up around 7:30-8PM. Asked the driver to see some boarding houses. He took me to several places and although most of the places had 25+ selections, quality wasn’t there, 2-6 range. Driver took me to the boarding house for college/model types. There were only 4 present, 7-8 range. Mamasan advised me to call in advance in the future so that she can call more girls in before my arrival. Selections were much better but the prices were much higher, P4000-5000 shortime and P8000-10000 for longtime. I didn’t partake. For that price I wanted a super model.

Went to Firehouse and lots of girls and I was the only customer. I didn’t make a choice there either and asked the driver to drop me off at the Volvo bar, sister bar of Thunderdorm. Entrance fee, P100, and mamasan gave me a discount on drinks this time. Lady’s drink was P300 instead of P450, but the barfine was still P4,000. They had very good dance shows and had number of attractive girls. Saw a 5’8”+ girl with a stunning smile. It was her first day and it showed. I invited her over for some drinks and found out she’s from Manila. Her English skill was limited but managed to communicate. Apparently she’s still a cherry girl and was waiting for her first customer. Bar didn’t seem to impose barfine until she was ready. Bid her goodnight and she asked me to come back tomorrow but didn’t make any promises. Another lonely night. Be prepared to spend in this bar, better selections than the rest.
