So much for the short trip. I hit a lot of my favorite massages and hung out at the go-gos for awhile. A couple of new developments to report.

Atami was CLOSED today. It was chained up and some sort of notice on the door in Thai. A groundskeeper said they got shut down by the police and the girls moved on to Mona Lisa. It looks pretty serious and long term.

Soi Cowboy is picking back up, with a place called Shebas having more than their fair share of pretty spinners. LongGun was also crowded, with some excellent shows. There were a few real lookers in Long Gun. Other places were dead. Baccara had a lot of girls and about five punters on a Friday night.

Well, I finally encountered the touts loitering in front of the Mona Lisa Massage. If you get dropped off at the Siam hotel, you can avoid the touts and the high prices. If you walk to Mona Lisa on New Petchaburi (from near Prince), you will certainly encounter at least 3 or 4 of these touts. This place was packed, and I did notice some girls from Atami there as I was told. Some of the Atami Mamasans are there also. Excellent selection, between 30-40 girls in the afternoon and a few that looked kind of young. There were a couple of breathtaking SuperStars.

JayOne had some very good looking girls. A lot of new faces and a few noteworthy spinners in the fish bowl. Got a bit crowded with all the tour buses unloading scores of patrons at one time.

Checked out CPII on a Sat night and was smitten by a fishbowl that looked liked a packed stadium full of beautiful girls. There must have been 150-200 girls in there! Lots of younger girls and the place was wall to wall guys, mostly local Thais.

New Cleopatra and Poseiden never fails to impress, each had about 50 girls. Some were incredibly stunning, very high quality girls there.

Bwana, she was at the Nana Hotel Disco with a few of her friends. 4x repeat and the TIGHTEST snatch I have ever encountered. Perhaps its time for your pilgrimage to LOS?

I'm overdue; it's been a year since I've been to LOS (but I did get to Singapore and Bali this year). Yes, I'm planning a trip. I do love those little Thai spinners. I've had good luck at Angel's in the past; probably pulled a half dozen out of there for the trip back to the Marriott.

So when will you be back in Rio?

Bwana, I'm hoping to make some time near late Nov. or Dec., my schedule is such that I can't plan too far ahead. As you know, these spinners are incredibly addictive. My RIO plans get strangely pushed aside every time I think about the plentiful spinners in LOS (I let 2 Brazil visas Lapse before I took my first trip).

Merlin, good time of year for Rio. I'll be back in early October. I love 'em all, but work takes me to Rio 4-6 times a year, so that's become my preferred destination. Still, I always look forward to an annual Southeast Asia tour. Next trip will combine a week in BKK with a week split between Phuket (diving) and Chiang Mai (trekking).
