Getting Home
Woke up at 6:00am, took a shower, gave the room a once-over and went downstairs to check-out and have breakfast. Took a cab for $12 and 20 minutes later was at the airport. Check-in was a breeze and the plane left 5 minutes early. Even better, we landed 45 minutes early. Of course, this being Newark, there was a plane at our gate, so we sat on the runway for almost an hour until there was room for us. Sometimes you just can’t win.
Conclusion
All I can say is wow! San Jose is no Bangkok, but given the short flight and strength of the dollar, it’s the perfect long weekend getaway. And once you break free of the need to stay in the Gulch, there’s a whole other world that awaits you. I look forward to exploring the rest of this beautiful country and its beautiful women.

Wallstreet,hi,
Couple of questions for you:
1) Please rate San Jose and Bangkok with respect to the "quality" of the girls. Please assume a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest. "Quality" here means the following: Slim, good looking girls
between 18 and 25 years. Good attitude is a plus.
2) What is the English level of these girls? Do they speak any English? Or is it pretty much limited to 'Hello' and 'Thank-You'?

Based on your criteria, I would rate the Bangkok girls a 9 and the San Jose girls a 6. The Bangkok girls are noticeably slimmer than their San Jose sisters and you will encounter quite a few working "girls" in their 30s in San Jose, while it seems to be a young girls game in Bangkok. With few exceptions, the San Jose girls speak no English besides other than hello, goodbye (and in the case of the Blue Marlin girls) one-hundred dollars. I had to rely on my Spanish to communicate. Thank God that's not the case in Thailand where the language barrier has never been a big issue. That being said, I still had a great time in San Jose and will go back again. But when I get a week off - I'll make a bee-line straight to Bangkok. (I'll be there the last week in August)
