This place is much different than the bars in AC. I really don't think there are more stunners here than in AC but there are some girls who are in the 22-25 range who look more womanly and really take care of themselves. Not many farmgirls here. A lot of these girls are mothers or hardcore veterans. There are some great bars off of Burgos but I did not have the time or energy to see them.

Some tips for the beginner:
*Happy hour will give you half price on drinks but the lady drinks are still 295 pesos. Happy may sound good but there are less customers and the girls are more pushy for lady drinks. You can leave $60 poorer in 15 minutes if a big group of hotties surrouns you and the waitress chimes in. If you don not buy they will think you are kuripot(cheap).
*Each time you purchase a drink, you will have to sign the bill. Make sure you look at the bill as some of the bars are known to pad them. If a girl wants to jump on board for a lady drink after you have already made your selection...ignore her. She will be pissed but she's just trying to scam a drink and then leave your table or dance on stage.
*I spent more money here in one night than 3 nights in AC. The lady drinks add up quickly and the girls are expensive. The barfine is 3,000 pesos, except for Bar Bandido which is 1,900 and Rogues which is 1,500. I think there might be drink credit for your barfine but I am not sure. The girl will expect 2,500 to 3,000 as a tip but I didn't try to lowball as I didn't know the protocall here. Expect to spend at least $300 a night here, not including hotel. Not worth it IMHO but a good diversion.

The Bars:

*Rogues- A bar with one go go pole and a nice looking bar. The place is loaded with expats and it has the feel of a freelancer place but you have to pay a barfine. The girls are below average at best.
*Dimples- The only daytime go go bar in Manila. Opens at noon. The daytime girls are average but the night girls come in at 8 pm and are pretty cute. Theplace is small but has that old Vegas feel to it. The girls are in lingerie and dance at the end of the bar in a semi circle stage. There is a VIP room upstairs for 3,000 pesos but I am not sure what you get for it other than nudity. Maybe a BBBJ. Very popular with Koreans.
*Mogambo Bar- Place is just of Burgos Street and is a small go go bar. The girls like to play Connect 4 and Yahtzee. The night shift is slightly better than the day shaft and the lineup is solid.
*Bottoms Up- Excellent bar. The place has staggered booths at different levels. Very easy to get a lot of privacy in the back booths and the girls will let you feel them up and will give you a BJ to warm you up. I saw many guys getting hand jobs and BJ's at the upper level booths. The girls dress in NBA uniforms with nothing but a g-string underneath. Some definite hotties here, although most of them were of the lighter skin variety. The bar is huge and the staff is curteous.
*Bar Bandidos- Downstairs you go to my favorite bar in Makati...maybe the Philippines. The girls are fun and hot. This place gets wild. The girls are taking their clothes off and givind nude lap dances. Guys are fingering the girls while sucking on their tits. Hard not to buy lady drinks here as the girls thank you in the naughtiest of ways. The stage is small, the aircon kicks ass and the waitress' are cool.
*Billboard Bar- Pretty large bar with a couple of lookers but the ambience is pretty dead.
*Rascals-Great place and some mature women here. Some definite hard core girls here. Waitresses are very pushy for lady drinks. One waitress had the nerve to ask me to buy lady drinks for the whole table (8 girls) and the waitress and mamasan within 5 minutes of arriving. That's 3,000 pesos($60). I decided to pick out a hottie with big tits and buy her several instead. Remember that lady drinks in AC are 80-120.
*Cuddles- Small, narrow bar with small stage but two or three of the best looking girls in Makati worked here. One asked for 5,000 for her services and she could get it any night.
*Papillon-Place has different levels. I like the upstairs level. Has a dance floor downstairs for dancing with your girl but the go go dancing is upstairs on a rail with a caveman decor. Place has cafe-type booths. Probably the best overall quality in Makati but many of the girls are seriously aloof. Remember that I rarely consider girls aloof.
*Go Go Bananas- Has the layout of a Thai go go bar but the talent level is slightly lower. Noone was there at 11pm at night. I may have been there on a bad night as the bar is pretty damn big.
*Jools- Has a show at 11pm with different themes every night. Very small stage upstairs but has a lot of table and a fairly large bar. Downstairs has a live band and many of the girls will try to take you there to buy their friends drinks. Girls were way to pushy here...total turnoff and the girls were just average looking and worn out.
*Ivory-Beautiful bar inside. Small table and a small go go bar. The tables have lit up fake rhino horns. The girls are cute and the waitress' very cool. Only about 12 girls working but the place may have been fleeced by the Japanse guys earlier as the place was full of Japanese high rollers when I was there.

Great job, Blazers, nice summary of the scene in Makati. Like you I was about $60 less heavy in 30 minutes, about a day's worth of expenses in AC. I would say that when I was there a few years ago there were on stage 6 stunners out of 10 dancers. In AC, maybe you'll see 3 stunners out of 30. Often more dancers are on stage in AC, comparatively. However, I'm not a high roller, so I don't intend to return to Makati again. They push the drinks on you worse than any place I've been to ever and their prices are nearly 1st world prices... Save some money, have more fun with a GFE Filipina and head to AC instead.

I don't get into Manila until close to 11pm. Is Burgos safe to barhop on foot?

It is indeed - I take you could probably walk back to downtown Makati but would you want to do that ? Security is pretty tight in Burgos - don't worry they won't hassle you - if anything they'll make you feel welcome !

I am going to PH for the first time and I think that I'll be staying in Makati. This info helps. Any other info about Makati? Hotels, regular clubs, malls etc.

Check-out Club Havanna in the Green Belt 3 mall, grab a seat in the out-door cafe and check out the eye candy. Pro`s and non-pro`s , nice area, good food. The pro`s will make themselves know.

I was drugged and bill was padded at Bottom's up bar..be very carefull. I had about 6 girls approach me as I walked in and I ended up buying a round of drinks for all of us. Had one Jack and coke and couldnt walk or talk..paid the bill stumbled to a taxi and was heading home after only being there about 25 minutes. Great talent, but got ripped off with a $150 bill when I looked at it the next morning. Stay clear of Bottoms up, or actually be careful if you you want to check it out.
