Having been home for almost 2 weeks now, I am finally getting back to normal. (I think) The first few days back, I walked around in a fog. It’s hard to readjust to normal life after such a great vacation. I’ve received a few emails from some of my new friends, and we are already planning our return. As Skull Jockey said when I first met him, “you are fucked for life dude”. I guess so, but what a way to be fucked. I met some great people down there and I just want to say thanks to some of them in the closing credits.

Sandman – thanks for all of the pre-trip advice, and loaning me Reals when I needed them. You are definitely my monger mentor. I look forward to our next trip.

Don – It was great to meet you. I can’t wait to hang out with you again.

Skull Jockey – You are the man. I’m glad our path’s crossed. Think about Labor Day….

Sweetmesquite - You choose great wine. I look forward to our next trip, and your next Portuguese history lesson.

Thanks Coats. I had a great time, and I wanted to try to share it with everyone. Some of the more experienced guys have probably forgotten their first time, so I wanted to try to take them back.

After reading Davidd Trip Report, man, you did a hell of a job in Rio. [for a Newbie] Only wish this guy did his homework. It "pained" me to read his report!!

Some people do it right others don't. Newbies, Take the time to read the reports from the board and you can have a lot of fun without overpaying for the whole trip.

Davidd's experience was....... well it was "something else".

I think instead of flying to Rio, Davidd rode the short bus all the way down:-)

If only he was member of one of those internet sites, where they have pictures, trip reports, scam reports, all the information a newbie needs to understand what to do, what to pay, what not to do, what not to pay.........NEVERMIND!

I'm thinking about coming up with a list of things I didn't know, that I wished I had known before I left. I had great pre-trip advice, but it was the little things that fell through the cracks.
There is so much on this site that has already been written about the different places, and the prices, and the girls, that I tried to do my report from another angle, and just focus on the personal relationships I made with hombres and the girls. I had a lot of fun remembering and writing this report.

I feel the same way. I didn't make any mistakes, at least none that I know of, but I didn't get around to doing a couple of things I wanted to.

For my second trip, I basically just want to add a couple of things. Some of these may be on your list of things to do as well. In no particular order:

1. Spend some time on Impanema Beach. It looked much nicer than Copacabana Beach, although there is nothing at all wrong with Copa. Impanema just looked a little more upscale, no working girls walking around but looked like a lot less barkers and shoeshine scammers too.

2. Try some of the massage places.

3. Try some of the non-touristy termas like 61 and the other cheap ones downtown.

4. Gotta spend an afternoon with GCL over at his studio.

5. I'm waffling on the sexo per minute appartments. I like the per-kilo restaurants but per-minute balling may be a little strange.

6. Actually do something touristy like para-sailing or taking the cable car up to Suger Loaf or something.

I will take a day next trip and do a "Clark Griswald" tourist-type day. I too want to go over to Ipanema. The only time I was really in that area was when we rode through it on the way to VIPs. I had a female tell me before I left that she wanted to take me to Sugar Loaf and Christo when I came back. I'm not sure that I will do both though.

I never really got any touristy pictures though other than some beach and street shots. Don told me that I could get a good shot of Christo as I was going into Luomo. (it was true too)

Where do you find the brunette Thaiza? I don't know if I just missed it or what but I do not see a ref to where I could find her when I finally make the trek myself. I am not as attracted to the blond Taiza of 4x4 but the brunette - wow.

She was a semi-pro that comes to Rio from time to time. I think she lives in Sao Paulo. I didn't see her again on my recent trip. If she is in town, you will find her hanging around Terraco outside Help. I don't have a phone number or anything. She is one of Sandman's finds.

Thaiza ain't no "semi-pro." She may not be hard-core, but she's a pro. The only thing "semi-pro" about her is that she doesn't DFK or give BBBJs. A real pro, as Patricia (formerly of L'uomo) noted, will do all that and more. Oh, and while Sandman is to be credited for many great finds, Thaiza was picking up guys (including myself) at the Terraço for about two weeks before Sandman started working his magic on her. Sandman, to his credit, did sweet talk her into some great photo shoots! She does live in SP; I have her numbers (Rio and SP). If you have any good ones to swap...

He's right. I didn't find her, she was actually with another guy the first time I saw her.

As I said in this report, she was pretty much a dead-fuck for me. I'll say hello to her and give her a hug when I see her, but I'm not interested in repeat. She may be cute, but there are so many better ones down there.

I had the same reaction: smokin' body, beautiful face, and below-average performance. The only reason the session was memorable is that I was banging her in the room next door to the guy she was supposedly spending the week with.

I'd met her at the Terraço and tried to get her to session, but she was already claimed. The next day I walked into the lobby of my hotel and she was just coming in the door. I asked her if she'd come to see me and she laughed and said her namorado was staying at the same hotel. I begged and pleaded and talked her into an hour session. So she came up to my room and then realized that I was right next door to her namorado. She called him from my room, told him she'd be late, and then we turned up the music to mask the noise. Unfortunately, there wasn't that much noise to hide. But it was fun nonetheless. I am a cacharro safado!

That is classic. As cautious as she was, I can't believe she would risk it.

Some of these so-called boyfriends of some of these girls have got to have their heads up their asses to not suspect something is up with their girls.

Ok guys, I get it that she is not that great at performance. But some times a face will be the thing that does it, eh? And with that body ... well it does it for me. Perhaps I too will find that she is not that great .... be fun finding out anyway.

Since I have not yet been to Brazil I don't have any thing to trade yet but I would sure appreciate it if someone would backchannel her numbers and email. Hopefully I can return the favor in the future.
