Hi, guys!
I will stay in BA for several months and expect to report regularly.
Instead of creating a long report in the Reports section starting in August and ending in December/January/Whatever, I deem more convenient to start this new section to add my reports and provide useful info. This initiative will also helps the BA newcomer to get updated info from my perspective and myself to post more easily.
In these months, I expect to cover:
- Pro action (probably not more often than twice a week).
- Semi-pro action.
- Non-pro action from Internet girls and other sources.
- Dining out experiences.
- Miscellaneous
Well.. at least this is my wishlist.
I provide you some traits of my profile so that you can understand my usual targets and see if my info fits your objectives:
- Buenos Aires native male, mid 30s, average looking.
- Not poor but not very wealthy either (I expect to spend mongering much less than US$1000 a month, so don't expect a complete assessment of the crew at Blacks).
- Busy (not many free afternoons to promenade)
That said, I encourage you to ask operational questions and request pictures (not limited to girls). Although I won't be touristing, I may take some time to take pictures of places, stores, etc, related to our hobby or services needed (except hotels, since I never used one in BA).
Hope this helps,
Andres

Andres, sounds good. I'm looking forward to your reports. Especially helpful would be some of the off the beaten path places if they exist.. bars where semi-pros or non-pros work etc..

Speaking of Cafe Orleans, just got back from my third trip in the past 12 months to South America. Is this a cry for help? It sure is to my bank balance. Oh well, you only live once.
I arrived in Buenos Aires on Sunday morning, Aug 10 after the predictably long flight from Miami. Flew United for first time and have no real complaints except for leg room (which is a big deal on long flights). I am one of the unfortunates that has a hell of a tough time falling asleep on planes, so I watched “Anger Management” and “Down with Love” to help pass the hours.
Upon arrival, took Tienda Manuel Tienda Leon bus from EZE to Aeroparque for like $6, up $2 from November past. At Aeroparque I checked on an airline that serves the Argentinian province of Entre Rios. I had hoped to fly from BA to Concordia, Argentina, which borders Salto, Uruguay to enjoy the famous thermal baths there.
Well, hell, the airline had gone out of business a year or so ago so that idea went up in smoke. Aeroparque had also been defaced a few months back when a big local airline went under. The word "PUTOS" was written on the walls behind the ticket counters in several places.
Anyway, stopped by the info booth and they had some nice little discount cupon books for hotels. Finally saw one that caught my eye, about two blocks north of Cordoba on San Martin, right behind Plaza San Martin. A great location--near American Express for travelers checks, two blocks from the famous Café Orleans, and around the block from Cutty Sark on Reconquista. Of course the cabbie tried to talk me into another place. Been there done that.
That Sunday afternoon, after settling in, I still couldn’t sleep, so I thought I’d head down the street about 2 p.m. and have a couple of beers at Café Orleans.
Upon entering, I noticed there was like two patrons, and one fairly cute girl I had to pass on the way to the table. I said “buenas tardes” and she smiled. I sat down, ordered a beer, and in less than five minutes she came over, without me calling her, and sat down. We chatted awhile. She was from the province of Salta.
As we were chatting, a couple of other girls strolled in, a bit care-worn in my mind’s eye. The girls I was sitting with seemed to be genuinely interested in my company, didn’t ask for a room deal, just nice amicable chat.
So two beers go by, it’s about 3 p.m. and I have the bright idea to go to San Telmo market to get something to eat and see the sights. I ask her to go with me, and she jumped at the chance.
We head out the door, get a cab, and in the back seat, where else? she immediately snuggles over and starts giving me nice French kisses, and puts my hands between here legs. I’m sitting there thinking “I wonder what this cabbie is thinking.”
Turns out, we spent a very pleasant two hours or so together. Ate a nice meal, holding hands we enjoyed a live show. I happily foot the bill all the way. In the end however, I ended up paying her about $30 USD for her “time”…
I hadn’t planned on spending over $50 bucks right off the bat to start my trip. I had plans for Flores Sunday night anyway. Stupidly, I got carried away by the attention, and it was good attention.
If before we left Orleans I would have said “let’s go to San Telmo, eat, and drink a few, and I’ll give you 50 pesos,” I’m sure she would have jumped at it. There were hardly any patrons there. But stupidly I forgot to clarify things up front and paid double.
“del tonto vive el vivo”…
Later that night, did go to Flores, spent less than $40 USD and had a real good time. On Monday, took the Buquebus to Montevideo…

Hello Gregorio. The price you payed seems after having red several reports from BA and Café Oréans very reasonable, but did you have sex with this girl or did she only spend time with you?
By Gregorio on Friday, August 22, 2003 - 07:33 pm: Edit |
At the end, I had discarded the idea of taking her to the room, because the effects of the long day and night without sleep and the beer were starting to get to me.
I guess it would have been a reasonable price if I WOULD have had sex. I was just a bit pissed that I blew $50 USD ($20 for food, $30 for her time) right off the bat for nothing.
I'm not that much of a tightwad, but I felt like I spent unwisely...

Gregorio,
Great to hear from you. Keep the reports coming. Those of us in the puritanical north want to live vicariously. As for me, I'm off to Cuba for a week. I didn't make it to Argentina this summer.

Gregorio, I nominate 'Down With Love' as one of the worst films for a male to watch that was ever made. I have no idea how much they bribed airlines worldwide to show that crap, but it was one of my China Air 'features' on my trip from LAX last month.
I know it's comparing apples to oranges, but how would you say the big natural titted girls in BA compare to, say, the girls with braces in Monterrey dives? I will never get there, but I am always curious about how the other half lives.
By Gregorio on Sunday, August 24, 2003 - 12:04 am: Edit |
Porker,
After reading your sweeping epic, that panoramic spectacle for the ages of a Southeast Asian odyssey, I truly feel that I speak for all members of the CH board when I say "we're not worthy."
A masterpiece like that, shared on a board like this, is like "casting pearls to swine."
My hat is off to you, a man in his mid-30's who selflessly (and at a considerable expense to himself) first experienced the cheap barrios and dives of Monterrey, Mexico, only later to use that experience halfway across the world to re-create the sights, the sounds, and yes, the smells of the Phillipines and Thailand for CH board members--a truly altruistic gesture on your part. I feel like I personally know "Airport Girl."
As for that chick with braces from Monterrey-- She'd be a hit in Argentina too. Life will be good for her--till she's 25.
What I still love about Argentina is the sensory experience of being there. I have never been in Europe, but from what I've seen on TV, magazines etc...Being in Buenos Aires is like being in Paris or Madrid. The architecture is beyond description.
The prices continue to be a bargain when compared to Mexico, but I would say that my dollar goes about twenty five percent LESS than what it did last year.
Now the quandry is whether to save for yet another trip south or head west, waaaaaay west, and experience Angeles City...Seriously. If you need a wingman on your next trip over there let me know...Before I get too old...

Nomar,
Good to hear from you. Stay tuned for my report on five days in Montevideo. But don't expect it to compare in breadth or scope to Porker's Southeat Asia report.
It'd be like waiting for Ben Affleck to follow Arnold Schwarzenegger...
By Porker on Sunday, August 24, 2003 - 08:56 am: Edit |
Gregorio, don't flatter me, I wanna hear about Uruguay as much as anyone here. And I'm shooting for xmas vacation for the next journey in to SE Asia addiction. Only pricey airline tix (and maybe pissing away too much money in MTY) can stop me!

Damn, too soon for me...I hate traveling during the holidays anyway.
Sure would like to experience the far east. The best sexual experience I ever had in Argentina was a half Phillipine, half Argentinan girl in Mendoza. She was beautiful, and oh so affectionate.
Made me feel like a man in his mid 30s...
I've neglected that Montevideo trip summary, but should have something on the board pretty soon. Nothing way, way out, but some stuff that could prove useful for those few that go there.
If nothing else, Montevideo is a laid-back respite to the madhouse Buenos Aires.

Hello Gregorio. I will go to BA for one month 28/8. I might stay in BA the period, but a friend told me that the Mendoza girls were very pretty, actually, he said it was a real diffence from the rest of Argentina, perhaps their heritage in this zone have strong genes for, at least, female beauty. What's your experience?
By Gregorio on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 - 02:23 am: Edit |
I went there planning on staying only a couple of days last November, and ended up staying like six. But that included a two-day trip to Santiago, Chile on the bus.
Keep in mind if you are going this time of year, it will probably be a lot cooler than it is in November, when Spring is busting out all over.
It's just a great place, with the Andes as a backdrop, you can sit and enjoy tree-lined streets, sidewalk cafes and of course very beautiful girls.
I just can't say enough about it. Right now I consider it my favorite city in Argentina.
There are quite a few apartments with working girls. I was fortunate to meet up with a local guy with similar interests, and he knew all the hot spots.
I always found the best action during the daytime at these places. One address I can remember is 551 Montevideo St. Just walk there and ring the bell. Everything in the central part of town is walking distance. And it is impeccably clean.
Last November the standard price for FULL service was $50 Argentinian pesos. Un solo tiro, ha, ha...
Also, the local newspaper, the Andes, I believe, has plenty of ads with phone numbers.
It is definitely worth the trip. A beautiful place.

Thank you, Gregorio. I may be hooked up with an intensive course in in spanish in BA my whole vacation, but my application might have come in to late. Not so fun, but I plan further trips, so it should pay off in the long run. But if not, I will defitively will go to Mendoza.

Hi guys,
when you write ar$, do you mean argentinean pesos?
How much is the argentinean peso worth today at the us dollar?
Best regards
Juan

Howdy all, I'm headed to BA and then Cordoba for a Vespa Scooter rally in late november-early december.
By best friend and whoring buddy zach will be with me so a combo of sex and trouble is sure to ensue.
My question, what was the name of that hotel you stayed at. Cheap and clean, and stumbling distance to some bars is all we want.
