I went to a salsa class at La Salsera (Yatay 961). I attempted to start my non-pro/semi-pro moves and esteemed that the place would be cozy for such activity. For ar$5, you get a 2-3 hour class and then the right to remain in the ballroom for the rest of the night.

Well.... I was wrong. Most of the patrons were either young couples or old couples with children. There were some single ladies, but these ladies could have dated FDR several decades ago. Although I spotted a shy but acceptable girl in the 20s coming alone, I wouldn't rely on the place as a point to get non-pro action.

I am going to be in BA in about 2 weeks and like the salsa idea. Let me know if you know of other good salsa clubs. I have a list from the net, will be going to various places for lessons/dances, a wonderful way to meet sexy ladies, I hope. Let me know if you want to hook up for a beer and check out a salsa club.

I'm taking classes at Azucar (3300 Corrientes Av). In the second class (Sunday) I found several Peruvian girls who seemed to be available for anything after class. The girls were not pretty, though, so I didn;t try a move.

On Monday, I met a recent Ukranian immigrant trying to learn salsa ans rock'n roll. This sweety called the attention of all the men, but speaks no other language. She may be 20-22 y/o and really pretty. Unfortunately, I don't speak Ukranian and could write only my name in Cirillic, to what she answered with a smile "Irina".

I checked out Azucar last time I was there, but was too early. It seems to have potential. I have a long list of places to go, when I'm in town, I'll message you here and we can grab a beer and find a salsa club, chase some skirts.
