I am posting this in response to someone asking what I thought had changed in Rio from my first trip to my last. Keep in mind that
this was originally written for some guys that I
know from actually running around with them in various places, but mostly Rio.
Also keep in mind that eventhough I might not particularly like it, I am not as sensitive to some of the negative changes that have occurred over the years.
With just a minimum of effort and tolerance you can avoid the bad and still savor the good. Guides do not populate every other corner, crime is certainly
still a genuine concern and at certain times, certain places suck. What remains constant is that you can still enjoy the hospitality, great food and
fresh, beautiful, loving women in an exotic (at least to me) destination without going bankrupt doing it.

Here goes:


From the perspective of someone whose first trip to Rio was in November of 1997 and whose last trip was August 2003, I can add these observations.

Meia Petaca-First trip I hung out there most of the afternoon everyday, interpersed with trips across the street to the beach. I neither met nor saw very many Americans. This was during the week of Thanksgiving.
Appeared to me that at this time not very many Americans went to Rio to monger. There were a lot of Italians and a good many Germans. I did meet many
"beach girls" there, especially late afternoon as they were all coming off the beach and stopping by for a little while before they went home to get ready for their work at Help. Girls were mostly girls that you would later see at Terrazo Atlantico or in Help. Now seems to be the hangout for a lot of really rough looking girls. Haven't spent more than 10 minutes there during three one week trips this year.
Lots of Americans now. Surprisingly, not many Italians
or Germans-not just at Meia Petaca but throughout the whole monger scene which is Rio. Maybe I am just missing them, but I think that they are traveling to other locales to have a good time.

Termas-In 1997 these were barely on the radar screen.
I was at Meia Petaca one afternoon and a guy came by passing out flyers for Monte Carlo which had just opened.
I went and was absolutely floored by the experience.
Now they are highly visible. I don't put termas at the top of my list of venues, and I didn't have much experience with them until this year,
but seems like some of them can be a little hit or miss either as far as talent is concerned or
with overcrowding. With some good info and some good timing, they are a great way to spend the afternoon.

Lido Clubs-Went to Barbarella's on my first trip. Really didn't like the set up or the prices. Did have an ok time with a girl from there, but not anything to write home about. Haven't been back since so can't comment as to changes.

Terrazo Atlantico-In 1997 this was the place to go before
going to Help, although I really didn't hang out there very much before going into Help. Seems like in 1997,
people might stop by there just before Help opened and have a drink, but they were just as likely to circle the place looking for a girl that needed help having her entrance fee paid and whether you found a girl you liked outside or not, you really didn't hang around very long and would just go inside Help. Now I think it is the place to be and be seen. The people watching is great, as is the interaction between the guys and the girls.
You can make a good night out just going to the Terrace without even going inside Help. Food is good and there
are a lot of girls to checkout.

Help-I love Help. If you are not already hooked up with a terma girl, etc. I think Help is the place to be every night while in Rio. The variety of women available all in one locale is to me absolutely amazing. It was a great place to go in 1997 and during the week before this past
Labor day, I don't think it could have gotten any better.
It rained day and night the whole week I was there.
I think all of the girls must have had cabin fever. They all went to Help at night.
Terrazo Atlantico was not all that good, due to rain and
cold, but the girls certainly packed into Help. If you're timing was right-a few minutes after midnite each night and you stood right at the top of the stairs, you would have been able to watch the girls parade by after they waited in a line all the way up the stairs and into the disco to check their purses, jackets, etc. By far the best
quality talent I have ever seen there or anywhere else for that matter. It was like,yeah, I would do that one,
and that one, ah, look at that one and that one,
oh my god, check this little bitch out. You get the drift.
Lots of hotties and plenty of spinners.

Have there been a lot of big changes, I don't think so.
Mainly influx of Americans, girls speak a lot more English,
less Italians, believe it or not I also think that even though they are still around, there are a lot fewer touts and beggars around than before. I changed from spending afternoons at Meia Petaca to spending them inside a terma-good change I think. I spend a lot more time at the Terrace, a little less time at Help.

Most trips I seem to eventually meet a girl that is just an absolute sweetheart, not every trip, but most.
Met the best one ever in Rio on this past trip.

Doc. Spent 4 days with her, most of it 24 hours a day. At this point I don't know whether this is a good development or a bad one. On the one hand I am happy that I was able to
have an adult-type long-term relationship, but on the other I am having a hard time keeping the fantasy part of things in perspective. Of course, I am also thinking that I stopped my pursuit of the two little sisters in midstream. I think I was right at the point where big sis
was going to help me in my pursuit and then I met the love of my trip and I was hers until boarding the plane.

Reference to the little sisters was made because I have seen these three sisters every night during three trips this year. I spent one night with big sis in February. The two younger sisters seem to be unapproachable. Have yet to see them leave with anyone. They
flirt a little, dance with each other, but otherwise never hook up with anyone.
I asked one of the little sisters in May why and she told me she wasn't working. I started working on big sis to get me hooked up with one or both of her sisters and she told me that they only like young boys. I told her that to be in business they need to like old men with money like me and she said that is what she tells them but that they are loco. I will continue to pursue
the little sisters in November if given the chance. Anyone here that knows who they are or
have been with them or have any insight let me know. To me, they make a very interesting little group. Big sis has black hair, little sisters have brown to light brown. Big sis has
enhanced tits, little sisters are both little spinners and look much younger than i know they are: 18 and 19.

The best thing about Rio before and now is that you can
find a girl that is totally beautiful and they just don't know that they are. The guys I ran around with and certainly myself spent some time with some really beautiful girls and just from watching how they act, you can tell that they think they are just ordinary run of the mill girls that are nothing special. Believe me though they are!!!

The really good things haven't changed at all.

Ah yes the three sisters. I took big sis home one evening. Not worth a repeat to say the least. Wait until the little sisters grow up a bit. The short gal with real short hair and always around with her huge tits all but hanging out was worth repeating.

I went with big sis last February. She was ok, but since she had just gotten her tits done, they were very tender to say the least and turned out to be very difficult to get my money's worth out of her. I have tried to remain somewhat friendly with her but she is not all that excited about the fact that I want her two little sisters and not her. I doubt that either sister would be a monster fuck, but just the fact that I can't get them makes me want them even more. Have yet to find anyone that has been with either of them.
