We woke up around 8:30am and lounged around a bit, then showered and got dressed. We went down to Maxwell's for another good breakfast. I got some scrambled eggs that Nat poured a mountain of chili flakes onto when we sat down at the table. I told her that was very funny, but now the eggs are inedible. Of course she starts eating them with no problem and I sat and watched in amazement. Between that and her drinking, it's no wonder her stomach is giving her problems, she probably has no lining left. We finish up breakfast and tell her I'm going to schedule a car to take us to the lake for fishing around noon. I tell her I'm going to check emails and then get a massage across the street and that she's welcome to come. But she told me she hates massages and never gets them. So she goes upstairs to watch TV and I go to the business center in Tower A. The business center is a medium sized room with 4 iMAC stations, a scanner and a couple of Epson printers (including the 960 that prints out photos on photo paper). I never asked what the price was, nor was it posted, but it had to be 3 or 4 baht per minute, a little on the expensive side, but to me 40 baht or 80 baht is the same thing. And there never was a wait and the machines were new and fast. They also had DVDs and VCDs for rent (the suite came with a combination boom-box/VCD player.

I checked emails and took care of a little business and was on my way out. Right next to the business center is the travel desk and I booked a car to Bungramsan Lake for 12:00noon for 1,200 baht. I went across the street to get a massage and the owner again called a girl from her other store. This time I got a girl name Jai (heart) and let me tell you - she gave me a Thai massage by which all other Thai massages should be measured against. I am a big guy and this girl manipulated all of my 260lbs. It wasn't always comfortable: I swear some of her moves were submission holds from WWF Smackdown - but I felt great afterwards. For the rest of my trip I asked for Jai specifically.

I made my way over to the hotel just before noon and Nat was complaining about her stomach again - she asked if we could go fishing tomorrow. There was no reason for her to be faking this, but I was still a little pissed off about it. I went back downstairs and asked if the car could bring us on Wednesday, instead of today and I was told that would be no problem.

So I went back upstairs and told Nat and she was thankful. So now I wanted to make alternate plans - I wasn't going to hang around the suite all day. I had told her on Sunday that I really wanted to visit a temple or two this trip and when I brought this up now she said "Oh you mean Wat Po - it's just a big building that's very hot - it's too boring." Well, Nat was never going to be made Ambassador to Thailand. She suggested we play some pool and I was not in the mood to argue, so we went over to Country Road, with the caveat that we would go to the Siam Center for a movie at the SGV Gold Class Cinema later that afternoon. She said "we'll see" as we went over to Country Road. I was starting to get tired of getting jerked around, but the sex was that good that I was still in a forgiving mood.

We shot a few games at Country Road and I had a good time. I suggested we head over to the Siam Center and check out the movie schedule and grab a late lunch. We took a cab, but something got lost in the translation and we were back at the Emporium. I tried explaining that I really wanted to go to the SGV Gold theatre but she said, "we are here now, so what's the difference?" I said the difference is I'm tired of you always getting your way and either we go to the SGV theatre together or you can stay here alone. She says let's go and I struggled to keep up with her as we headed to the Sky train and ultimately the Siam Center. She was 10 - 20 yards ahead of me the whole time and I thought about just stopping and going in the opposite direction - which would have been the best move, in hindsight. But I played it cool and eventually we got to the Siam Center. I asked her what she wanted to see and she didn't answer, so I got two tickets to Pirates of the Caribbean, not a movie I really wanted to see, but it was the best of the bunch. For those of you not familiar with the SGV Gold Class Theatre - it's got my vote for best movie experience ever. The seats are pricey: 600 baht per person for a reclining massage loveseat and 500 baht for the non-massage chairs. There is waiter service, every customer is given a blanket, pillow and slippers and the chairs recline all the way back - you can lay flat if you want to. Plus I love the massage feature. I highly recommend this movie going experience. Nat got some snacks and then said that I was right, this is a very nice theatre and then she acted as if nothing had happened.

After the movie ended, Nat said she had to take care of some errands, so we set the usual time of 11:00pm at the Long Gun and I was adamant that we would go to Ratchada for dinner that evening. I went back to the hotel, showered and changed and looked at the clock: 7:00pm - how do I kill the next 3-4 hours. Well, I figure why not see what going on at Eden's. So I take a taxi over to Soi 7/1 and step inside. I had been inside Eden's once before on my last trip, to pick up two girls that I had taken out for the night. I sat at the bar and the girls lined up - maybe about 15 to choose from. Now I know that many of you really love Eden's but the girls that were available at that hour really looked old and tired. Not a single one did anything for me. I know, some people get there right at 1:00pm or whatever, but with the reputation that place has, you would think there'd be one looker in the bunch. I choose the least offensive-looking girl and she chose a girl that did nothing for me, but in all fairness any girl she would have picked wouldn't have done anything for me. And I have yet to meet this famous Marc, he wasn't there again. Anyway, the three of us go upstairs to a very nice room and we get ready. To be fair, both girls were real nice - they had great attitudes. They asked me to direct them - I laid out a game plan and the fuckfest commenced. I shot my load twice - anything less I think would have insulted them. We went back downstairs and I paid the tab and tipped them 1,000 baht each - I mean they were so good-natured I felt embarrassed at my shallowness, but I am what I am.

I then walked over to the Soi 7 Beer garden for a drink, again lots of available ladies - this place may come in handy in the future. It was now approaching 11:00 and I shot over to the Long Gun. The show was running late so Nat didn't finish until 11:30. Again her stomach was bothering her, she begged me just to take her back to the hotel and she said she really wanted to go to Ratchada but couldn't tonight. So we went back to the hotel and I could tell she really was sick and not in the mood, which was fine with me, as I had just used up all my energy - those Eden girls do give you a workout.

Nat took some more Pepto and swore she would go fishing tomorrow. It was 1:00am and we both hit the sack.

Re: the recliners at the movies: actually I didn't like the ones at the theaters in MBK. I wanted my girl draped all over me, and the way the seating was arranged it was like she was across the damned aisle. And 600 baht for tickets? Shouldn't that get you a BJ from a cute usher girl?

WS, I'm one of those guys that always goes to Eden as it opens, when the girls are still coming in and putting on their makeup. I've gone there later, even around 2pm, and find that even 2pm is too late to snag a decent looking girl. Usually when it opens, they have about 20 girls.

The SGV is an unreal movie experience....imagine a large leather recliner for two to watch a movie with very few people watching the movie. The usher girl might not give you a BJ but your date will and noone can see her underneath the blanket...especially if you're in the back row...trust me.

This is my first post ever. I only know about Thailand for 1 month. So far Wallstreets reports are by far the best. My question is, Wallstreet at times looks like a nice guy with the ladies, why didn't you take Nat to a doctor? I know we are all here to learn how to screw girls but it would have been a very nice gesture.

You will soon learn that bar girls have a myriad of ailments and complaints. Some of them are even real. If you run to the doctor every time they complain you will do little scewing and a lot of sitting in waiting rooms. As disappointed as I was with the looks, I can say I was very pleased with the service - these girls really want to make you happy - which made me feel even more shallow.

Porker/Blazers: To me the SGV reclining love seat is the best thing going in movie-watching. I believe the first time I went (on my first trip), all of the recliners had the massage option, but now only the ones in the back row have that option - and as Blazers said - the back row is where you want to be.

Mr. Smith: There is no way Nat would have gone to a doctor. I offered her medicine (Pepto, anti-acid pills, Cipro) but she's very stubborn and thought the best cure was to lay around and watch Thai soap operas. And there's no changing Nat's mind once it's made up. Also I thought buying Nat a $300 phone was a nice gesture, maybe I was all gestured-out.

Ahh, it's a LOVESEAT. THAT makes sense and would be worth the extra baht. The lazy boys at MBK had these giant armrests that made getting closer than 2 feet to the girl a severely uncomfortable act.

Andres, I agree with you that Wallstreet was insensitive to his hooker's needs. He should not only have called an ambulance to rush her to the hospital, but had her check in for a lengthy stay so they could determine the nature of her stomach problems. And THEN he should have sent her to the best nutritionist in Asia so she would change her diet and stop eating all that dangerous spicy food. And then he should have bought her another US$300 cellphone in case the other one had a low batt. or something. Wallstreet you CHEAP, insensitive FUCKER!

Andres, welcome to the Club, hombre, but TRUST US when we tell you that you are being very naive. I am all for being nice to any girl that you meet, whatever her line of work, however, there is a big difference between the naivete that you are exhibiting by your above post and being a 'nice guy' or a 'gentleman'. If you do take a trip to Asia (and I hope you get that chance, it's an INCREDIBLE experience), WATCH YOUR WALLET! Many girls there are sharks, and if they sense that you are new to the scene and naive, it will be like smelling blood in the water and they will try and drain every cent that you have. Please read up on all of the experiences people have had here (including Wallstreet and the cellphone/prepaid week's barfine disaster) and learn from their ups and downs. Wallstreet is a good catch actually to the Thai bar girls. A guy like that who sticks mainly to one girl and pays her x000baht a day and buys her a nice phone is a really good find for a bar girl. I just hope not everyone is like this so the market doesn't get ruined. There are many guys who pay x00baht a day since he is a repeat customer.

Funny about the stomach problems among Thais, but from what I have read there are two contributing factors. Firstly, the water here is not so great and most of us drink bottled water all of the time. The Thais will drink some of the filtered water at most restaurants and food courts, but most of the bar girls are from rural areas and they will apparently drink almost anything.

The second factor is the spice in the food - many of the Issan girls will eat "pla ra" which is a fermented fish sauce which is mainly chili. Supposedly, over 40 percent of Issan people have liver flukes as a result of pla ra. And over one third of residents in the city here supposedly have some form of stomach ulcer.

I have been here four years and so far no problems in my gut, but if you come to visit you should avoid the tap water and all fermented fish products.

DJ - I paid Nat 2,000 baht per day, which I think is very much in line for long time.

To me, asking a girl to discount that rate for multiple days is like me asking Billy, the hot dog vendor on Rector and Greenwich for a discount on a hot dog simply because I eat at his stand three days in a row. I'm just not going to do it.

The money means a lot more to them than it does to me.

And you forgot to mention that my looks and charm also contribute to making me a good catch.

Are you able to get online in your room at Somerset Lake Point? And were you able to get online in your at the Omni? From what I've read, Omni has a center on one of the floors. Will be working while I'm down there and more convenient if it is in my room.

I know that Omni has some type of deal for high speed access in your suite for an additional amount of baht per month (I think 2,000) - I guess it's more geared toward those staying long-term. I didn't see anything regarding in-room internet at the Somerset Lake Point. I don't bring a laptop with me and used their business center to get online - open 8am - 8pm 6 days a week - closed Sunday.
