plane tickets
Youv'e decided to go! Time to buy the plane ticket. Damn! It costs a lot to fly that far south!
Better to save money if possible and spend it on chicas later. Here's what I do:
The first place I check is Clark Howard, who regularly posts sale fares to locations world-wide.

My second stop is the web sites of discounters. I like Carbone Travel because they focus on Argentina, they will often have the lowest fares. Be sure to ask if the ticket you purchase from them is eligible for air miles. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes no. If not, check elsewhere or factor in the fact that you are losing 10,000 miles, or almost half of free domestic ticket.

Airlines that serve Argentina.

http://www.sw.com.ar/index.html Southern Winds, an Argentine carrier. Flights from MIA to Buenos Aires. A good source for flights within Argentina.
