A Pirate Looks at Argentina: Introduction

This ole pirate is an Argentina addict. I needs me Argentina fix more than I needs me grog.

I have been to Buenos Aires 11 times. When I am not in Argentina I am planning my next trip. Kinda like looking at porno on line when you can't be with an actual chica. Except my flag don't don't fly when I am lookin at pictures of Argentina's countryside

Whatever, along the way I have uncovered a wealth of on-line information on everything from ferries to leather shops; from hotels to newspapers.

In this report I will provide tons of links to sites on Argentina, and offer some of ole' Pirates wit and wisdom along the way.

Moondog, Andres and others have covered the mongering side of Argentina very thuroughly. So the emphasis here will be on trip planning and enjoying the non-mongering side of Buenos Aires.

I like this format for a guide...I think I have seen it before. Not sure from who though. Great job so far...I'm guessing you will eventually get to chicas and where to get them.

I haven't visited the site in a while but nice compilation of information you've posted. Thanks. BA is a special place and I hope more guys get to enjoy it.

Just got done checking out all the rest of this great list of background info on Argentina and BA. You've created an excellent series of short posts covering virtually every subject that the traveler needs to know.

I know that Hombre has a very complete section of links and you have added quite a few more. What your post makes me realize is that we really need some sort of section for countries where reference reports such as yours are highlighted. These are the kind of reports that definitely need to be saved and used as a starting point for anyone interested in learning about a location.

I patched together an outline based on several guidebooks and Bwana_Diks report on Rio....Yeah, I will get to chicas eventually, but since that area has been so well covered my focus will be on the nuts and bolts of putting a trip together and how to enjoy yourself outside of la cama...

I just can't believe the volume of hotties on the BA websites compared to other mongering destinations and so look forward to going to BA.
