I was awakened by my cell phone, which hadn't worked since I got it from Nat. All calls would go directly to voicemail, without ringing, and then I was then unable to retrieve them. I had given up on the cell, but still kept it charging by the bed.
I answered the phone and it was Nat. She got right to the point and asked if I would mind putting her new cell phone charger in a bag and leaving it with the front desk so she could pick it up. How do you respond to this type of boldness and nerve? Tell her to fuck off? That would be too petty - and it would let her know that she got to me. So I told her it would be waiting for her downstairs. She thanked me and that was that.
I took a shower, got dressed and but the charger and a couple of items of clothing that she had also left in a bag and dropped it off at reception on my way to breakfast. Now it was about 9:30 and I went took the Skytrain to Chatuchak to pick up some souvenirs for friends and family back home. For those of you who don't know, Chatuchak, the weekend market, is this unbelievably huge outdoor market, where you can buy anything and everything. Just bring your baht and your negotiating skills. And drink plenty of water because it gets very hot and very crowded. I picked up some cool wooden masks and jewelry, enough to make a few people back home happy. I took the skytrain back to Asoke Plaza and dropped off everything at the SLP. I then decided to grab a bite to eat at Kuppa and had a great sandwich and iced tea. If I lived at the SLP, I'd be visiting Kuppa very, very often.
So know it was early afternoon and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Do I check out a massage parlor or maybe the Soi 7 Beer Garden? I walk over to Sukhumvit and I'm leaning towards hitting the Beer Garden and seeing what kind of afternoon action was available. As I'm walking, I run into Billcink as he's coming out of a bookstore. He asks where I'm going and I tell him I'm open so we head over to Woodstock to have a drink. We shoot the breeze for a while and Lólita's comes up in the conversation. I had read about this place, but had never seen it. He told me it was where the Asoke Plaza Beer Bars were and that it was easiest to see from the Soi Cowboy entrance. We talked a bit more, and I left him as his steady was working there and I wanted to do something.
So I walked over to Asoke Plaza, then Soi Cowboy and entered into a clearing that looked like a parking lot. I saw a big sign that said Lólita's with an arrow pointing to the left, but I wasn't sure just where they meant. I looked into this tiny alleyway that really was just the back of a building and further up to the left was the back of the beer bars closer to Asoke Plaza. All the while I hear these girls calling out to me and I finally look over and see 4 girls standing in front of Lólita's - which is in the exact opposite direction of the arrow! I make my way across the parking lot and not exactly knowing how this works I went inside.
The air conditioning was a welcome relief and I was also given a cold towel. Lólita's is a small bar, with seating for maybe 4 or 5 people at the bar and then a curtained off area in the back of the bar. I ordered a coke from the bartender and one of the girls from outside came in and grabbed onto my arm. Now of the four girls, two were cute, one was doable and one was a hag. I got lucky in that the one who came (we'll call her Blow Girl or BG) in was one of the cute ones. I don't know what the protocol is - do you grab one on the way in and if you don't can you decline the first one who comes over, much like a go-go bar? Or is it like when you're at a deli counter and your number is the one "now being served?" Anyway, I'm glad the one who came over did and I didn't have to worry about it.
We talked for a couple of minutes and then she led me to the back. I sat down on a comfortable vinyl-covered bench and was struck by how clean the place was. Maybe they had just opened, but the place looked very sanitary - I was really expecting the place to be a lot seedier.
BG got on her knees on the tile floor, which could not have been comfortable, had then took my already hardened unit out. She had a basket of antiseptic wipes and tissues and made sure that 'lil Wallstreet was squeaky clean. She then gargled with mouthwash and started what was one of the best BBBJTCIM I have ever gotten. This girl was obviously a specialized seasoned pro and knew what she was doing. I held off for as long as I could but she made me explode in her mouth at about the 12-minute mark. She then spite the cum into a towel, cleaned me up and gargled again with mouthwash. The whole time she had this real nice smile on her face.
We went back to the front of the bar and I asked for the bill, which came to 650 baht including the coke. I gave BG the change from a 1,000 baht bill and she seemed very happy.
My take on Lólita's - I'll make an afternoon stop there every day on my next trip - it was that good. I really like oral and for that price, I find it an incredible bargain.
I stopped in a real cheap Internet cafe in the same lot as Lólita's and took care of some business, then walked over to the SLP. I started to pack my things as I was leaving the next morning and didn't want rush in the morning. I then took a nap in preparation for my last night in Bangkok.
I woke up at about 7:00pm and toke a shower and got dressed. Went downstairs and got a taxi to Nana Plaza. I told Billcink I'd stop by Woodstock first to see if he was in and he was. We talked for a bit and he was waiting for his steady to end her shift, but I wanted to get a start on the "bar fine lottery." I decided to go over to Angel Witch, a place I had great luck in the first trip and I remember reading very favorable reviews on the place recently. I walked in and it was half full with customers. The talent looked good - a few doables, but nobody who really jumped out at me. Then I noticed two really good looking girls who were sitting on the other side of the room, having a grand old time with these two Japanese guys. I kept looking over their way, but the guys ordered drinks for the table so I thought my chances wouldn't be that good. Meanwhile I was doing an appraisal of every available dancer - it looked like there were three groups of girls alternating on the stage - and as it was only 8:30, some girls were still coming in.
I was getting dizzy from trying to keep up and I was constantly changing my mind over whom to call over. And the more the two girls with the Japanese guys were giggling, the more attractive they were to me. They probably wouldn't have been so attractive to me if they were available on stage, but because another guy was interested, I had to have her - pretty screwed up, huh?
Then I saw this small girl dancing towards the far end of the stage, near the entrance to the bathrooms and I became interested. We made eye contact and she flashed me a big smiled. We kept this up throughout the set, and just as she was going off, I asked the waitress to call her over. She sat down next to me real close and we started talking. Her English was about the best of any bar girl I've met so far and she explained that she studied it very hard in school and that she had just graduated from high school. She looked young, but assured me she had ID proving she was 19. We conversation went back and forth and I wasn't crazy attracted to her, but she had a great attitude and a real air of sophistication about her - this was no Issan girl. It turns she's from Bangkok and still lives with her parents near the airport. I asked her if she wanted to go long time and how much that would cost. Without hesitating she said it would cost 3,000 baht. I told her that was a little high and that I usually paid 2,000 baht. She said for long time she would really like 3,000. So I took a different tact and asked her to tell me why she was worth 3,000 baht. Without hesitating she said that she would do anything to please me and if I didn't think she was worth 3,000 baht in the morning I could pay her whatever I wished - because she could tell I was "a very smart man." I liked her response, particularly that I was smart - much more accurate and believable than the standard "handsum man" mantra. Just as I reached into my pocket to pay her barfine, I realized I didn't know her name. When I asked, I couldn't quite understand, but later confirmed that it was Nuang. When she saw I was having trouble with her name, she said they called her "No. 1" but I didn't understand whether that was because that's what Nuang meant, or that there was another girl in the bar with the same name, so for practical purposes they were No. 1 and No.2. Regardless, I loved calling her No. 1 and did so at every presented opportunity.
After paying her barfine, she came back in street clothes and confirmed her sophistication by the way she was dressed - she looked like a well-dressed high school/college student, not the typical dress-down bar girl look. Add the fact that she only worked at Angel Witch for a month and you could see she didn't have any bad habits yet - at least on surface.
I told her I wanted to grab dinner before heading back to the hotel and she nodded approval. I said we could leave now or order another drink and talk a little bit and she said she'd like to order a drink. So we did and talked back and forth - the more we talked, the more I liked this girl. When the drinks were done, she said the show was going to start in 10 minutes, if I wanted to stay and I asked what she wanted to do and she said stay and watch the show, so we did - plus as I remember from the first trip, the show wasn't bad. Another round of drinks, more small talk and then the lights went down. By this time the bar was pretty full, but we had good seats and I had a pretty good buzz going. The show was well choreographed and some of the girls looked real how in their outfits. There was one segment to the Moody Blues song "Knights in White Satin" with these two girls in white body suits with absolutely outrageous bodies C to D cups for sure and that was confirmed when one of them, Bum came over and started talking to No. 1. They were friends and if Bum had a face to match that body I would have bar-fined her, but she had about the worst teeth I have ever seen. At first, and I swear this is true, I thought she had like Halloween costume teeth in her mouth as a joke, it was that bad. I got a glimpse of her dance partners face as she went off stage and she looked real cute - but Io couldn't verify that up close and then lost track of her. Anyway, Bum went back to change and then I suggested we go out to eat.
No. 1 grabbed my hand and we headed out the door. As we walked towards Sukhumvit, I asked her if she knew of a good restaurant and she said Cabbages and Condoms - not your typical bar girl response. I said that sounded good but what about Indian food - did she like that? She said she did, so we headed over to Akbar's which was given a big thumb's up by Blazers.
Akbar's is on Soi 3, a little ways down from Sukhumvit. The downstairs was packed when we walked in at 11:30 (they serve until 1:00am) so they escorted us to the upstairs dining room, which was empty. The decor was real gaudy - but in a good way. I ordered a tandoori combo platter and No. 1 ordered some Thai food that I didn't see on the menu. Both the Indian and Thai food was outstanding. The service was first class and I can highly recommend this place. No. 1 enjoyed the food also and complimented the fabulous Onion Cheese Naan Bread - saying it was just like Pizza Hut.
I paid the bill - can't remember what it was, but I know it was much cheaper than Kuppa and then we caught a cab over to the SLP.
The guard asked for No. 1's ID, which she dutifully handed over and we went upstairs, entered the suite, and got comfortable. No. 1 approved of the layout and we had another nice conversation, about how her family and how she was doing this to help them, but then she wanted to go to College and eventually work in an office. We watched some TV and then I initiated the action, as No. 1 was fairly shy and as it turns out, very inexperienced. She went in to take a shower and then I followed and she turned out the lights before joining me in bed. To be honest, her inexperience didn't make this a great session, but it was a good one nonetheless and she proved to be willing to take direction and was very affectionate. When we were done and ready to sleep, she held onto me and didn't let go until the next morning.

I had a much different opinion of Lólita's. Of course when I was there it was busy and seemed kinda seedy to be standing there behind a curtain with a bunch of other dudes next to you doing the same thing. Continued great report !!
I think I would have told Na I threw away her charger. Let her go buy her own !! You were far too good to her, although I understand you just wanted to be done with it .
BTW Nuang can mean several things depending on tone. Usually means delay or hold back-- like nuang nawn When you yawn or try to stay awake you are nuang nawn - holding back sleep. nawn= sleep.
Or it can mean beacuse of -- related to.
Number one is Nung

Good report. Enjoyable and entertaining.

Young Padawan, your senses are becoming more acute with bar girls. This girl is hitting all the right notes for a girl to spend longer time with. You are now paying as much attention to their mannerisms as well as their words. Use the force young Wall Street and do as I say not as I do......Believe it or not, I actually know who Bum is at Angel Witch and can attest that she has the best body I have ever seen in a bar in Thailand and she has a beautiful face. I sat and had a drink with her and she smiled. I saw one tooth. Holy Broom Hilda Batman. I just couldn't barfine her after that...not even in the dark would I be able to get that picture out of my head....but damn that body was perfect. Nice meeting you today in New York...definately a cool dude.

How did you like SLP compared to Omni? How far is it to the Skytrain and was it within walking distance of Nana? What was the name of the massage place you went to (the one without the "extras"?
Damn, it sure sounds like you bounced back well after your initial bg problems. Kudos!!
By Khunk on Monday, September 29, 2003 - 12:12 am: Edit |
Es,
I have stayed at both the Omni and the SLP and if you don't mind paying a bit more the SLP is far nicer. I would say the walk to the BTS at Asoke is about the same as that from Omni to Nana. you can shorten it by taking the mototaxi out of SLP for 10 baht to the corner of Asoke and Sukhumvit. Then all you gotta do is cross the street.
Out of the service apartments I have stayed at in BKK Omni, Centrepoint, Grand Pres, Jasmine, I believe that the SLP is by far the best for service and quality. Omni being the value minded's pick.

KM- I agree that if I had to wait while a bunch of other guys were getting serviced, it would have been a different vibe - since I was the probably the first customer of the day, I had no "distractions" .
No. 1's full name is Nuengrthai - at least that's how she wrote it down on paper. I just really dig the name No. 1
Rasta - I've never had Tandoori in LA, but Akbar's compared very favorably to the top Indian joints in New York - do check it out on your next trip.
Blazers - live and learn. This trip was a turning point for me; I'll be a lot quicker in kicking a girl to the curb when I don't get good service in the future. There's just too many girls out there to put up with a bad one.
As far as Bum - I kept going back and forth on whether to take her out as well - but I just couldn't get past the teeth. Add to that No. 1 had one snaggle tooth on either side of her mouth - so I already had my limit of dental problems.
Looking forward to a nice Italian dinner tonite.
Esdude - "Sans Pareil" (French for "Without Peer") is the name of the combo Dry Cleaners/Massage place. It is located on the opposite side of the street from the Somerset Lake Point. I highly recommend it - and ask for Jai - she'll give you the best Thai Massage you've ever had.
Khunk is right on. About the same distance (350 yards) to the respective Skytrain stations. I can honestly say that both the Omni and SLP are great, but the SLP is more upscale and gets the nod for service. Plus I preferred Soi 16 to Soi 4.

WS the way she spells her mane is different than what you wrote above. She is I'm sure called Nueng or " one ".

Great report WS. Makes me want to consider Thailand as well as Rio during Thanksgiving. Any opinions?
By Wallstreet on Tuesday, September 30, 2003 - 11:36 am: Edit |
I can't really opine on Rio as I've never been there, but my first trip to Thailand was last November, albeit before Thanksgiving, and it was great. The weather is superb that time of year and I can't imagine it's as crowded during Thanksgiving as it is during the Christmas Holiday; certainly there won't be any more Europeans/Australians during Thanksgiving than normal.
If memory serves, Murasaki spent a Thanksgiving in Thailand - you might want to check out his reports.
And to quote several members of this board - anytime is a good time to go to Thailand!

WS,
-Did you have to pay a bar fine at Angel Witch? If yes, how much was it?
-After reading your report, it appears that No. 1 had a great attitude, even though she was shy and inexperienced. Given the opportunity, would you bar fine her again? Or is she not worth a second date?
Thanks!
By Wallstreet on Monday, October 27, 2003 - 04:31 pm: Edit |
I did pay a bar fine - I think it was 500 baht. No. 1 had a fantastic attitude and yes I would barfine her again. I've held off on giving her a call - she gave me her cell number and begged me to call her. Maybe I'm still gun-shy from Nat, who I called evry few weeks between trips. No. 1 also doesn't have an email address - that's a sure sign of someone who is new to the business. Then again, Nat didn't have an email address either and she was a real pro.
I've already bought my ticket for January 16-25. My birthday is Jan 21 and No. 1's is Jan 22, something that came up in conversation. I'd say our paths will cross again.
One final note, I sent in about 6 photos of No. 1, but Hombre politely declined to post them, because she looks real young in the photos. I did verify her age - she'll be 20 on January 22, 2004.
By Blazers on Monday, October 27, 2003 - 05:00 pm: Edit |
Yeah, when you gonna email me those pics. Pretty please.
By Wallstreet on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 - 06:49 am: Edit |
Blazers, I don't have your email address, otherwise I'd be happy to oblige. But they're not nudes or all that great, to be honest
