Just back from Panama City, my second visit this year. And I had one strange experience.

I'll start at the beginning. I get into Panama City in the early evening and rent a car. I was intending to head to the Bristol, very nice hotel in downtown. (Aside: every room comes with its own butler. Mine was West Indian and spoke perfect English. It's kind of nice being served a condom on a silver platter by some guy with a British accent and a tux). Anyway, I get lost and instead end up on Avenida Alfaro in the north part of town, and drive right by Golden Time. Hmm, maybe time for a little take out. I walk in, about 8:30 PM, and the selection of women in this place was mindboggling. Forget LDV, Black's in Buenos Aires, or the largest fishbowl in Bangkok. This place had the biggest concentration of Playboy level talent I'd ever seen. I pick Woman #1, a short, busty, VERY attractive woman from Medellin, with braces. Since I'm leaving the City the next day to do some touring and will be without for about a week, I choose the $350 all night option.

I load her into the car and after getting lost a couple of times and killing the both of us once or twice we get to the Bristol. Even though my date was dressed pretty conservatively for a hooker, the receptionist knew at once what was going on, and asked me whether I wanted to register my date or have security interrogate her. I chose to register. Apparently, if a Panamanian sees an attractive Colombian (and it's obvious she's Colombian from her accent), then she will immediately assume she's a hooker.

Anyway, this is the first time in my life I had to expend more energy and creativity in bedding a prostitute than a date. This was #1's first trick of her life. She had been in Panama for two days. First I had to get her drunk. Then feed her, talk to her, etc., etc. Finally I get her in bed and she doesn't want to take her clothes off. I get her clothes off and she hides her breasts with her hands. Goodness! She was a very nice woman, excellent English learned at a university in Medellin, but what a pain in the ass.

She ended up bailing out at about 2:30 AM, which was O.K. with me.

I did have a better experience at Golden Time on my return with #10, a Venezuelana who's lived in Manizales the last 10 years. I paid $130 for take out, and we went to a love hotel. This place had about 50 garages where you pull your car in. If the garage door is closed, the room is occupied. If it's open, the room is available. On a Monday night at 9:00 PM, there was only one door open. Panamanians must fuck like rabbits. You ring a buzzer, slide $10 through an opening in your room door, and do something similar to order drinks. #10 was a real partier.

Lessons learned:

1. If your reason for going someplace is for the women, and if GFE is your thing, DO NOT GO TO PANAMA CITY. This is a lesson learned from two trips. Women in the massage parlors are doing several guys a day. They are hardened. They are not likely to be GFE. There are probably exceptions to this, being the uglier women who don't have 5 customers a day. This is a viable strategy (ugly women/massage parlors) if you are drunk. Do not try this strategy (getting drunk) in a strip club -- In Le Palace or Elite (high end strip clubs that charge $$$ for takeout), you will end up $500 poorer

2. DO NOT BE A CHUMP AND PAY $350 take out fee for a woman you've never tried before. Please note that for what you would pay for one drop dead gorgeous Colombian in Panama, you can get 7 drop dead gorgeous Colombians in Colombia. Go to the source.

3. If you go to Golden Time, go early. They open at 7:30 PM. There were about 30 women, including the best looking ones, when I went around 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM. At say 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM, selection is much poorer.

4. Panama is a decent destination if women aren't your first priority. Jungle tours, beaches, rafting, etc., and it's cheaper than Costa Rica. I stayed a couple of nights at the Decameron west of Panama City. Interesting concept. You pay all inclusive price, so you can eat and drink all you want whereever you want at about 10 restaurants and bars. This hotel had 600 rooms, and gets fully occupied on the weekends. You'll never see more drunk, fat Panamanians in one place in your life. Cost for two people mid week is only $39 to $49 per person. Food and drinks alone are probably worth that.

5. Driving in Panama City is a nightmare. Take taxis instead.

Tiny, "test drive" the MP chica first. Then make arrangements for them to "cum" over that night or the next day.

I alway's try to get a verbal agreement on what I require before they "cum" back to my pad!

If late at night and they will stay "toda la noche"? I especially tell them I want a pop before we go to sleep! And the pop before she leaves the next day! And BBBJ, and so forth:-)

$$$$350.00 for TLN? Ya gotta be kidding me?

You could take the top talent from the best clubs in Panama for that amount for 2 days or more. From Golden Time....Nawww!

Yeah, they tend to be more expensive there than Colombia...maybe that's why they go there?

Sf4dfish, If I had complained to management at Golden Time (GT), I'm sure woman would have gotten a lecture, at the least, for leaving early. One of the good things about Golden Time is that after they do the parade of women, you can sit in viewing room and talk with woman as long as you want. So it's possible to ask about BBBJ, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't do it. I was intrigued that this was her first time at sex for pay, and so didn't ask her about the details. I had actually intended to ask about kissing. (Because of 4 woman at GT I've seen, all Colombians, none kissed -- which is strange -- that's not a problem for most of the Colombianas I've seen in Colombia.) So, Sandman, I think they tend to not only be more expensive in Panama, but less GFE too.

If you have the time, you can get much better bargains. I was in town for one night only and wanted a "sure deal" with a very attractive woman. Which I guess I didn't get. When I was in Panama earlier this year, I had a great take out experience with a very attractive (but still not quite GT caliber) woman at Hawaii. 2-1/2 hours at my hotel (we went overtime - was supposed to be 1-1/2 hours) cost around $110 --$30 to house and $80 to woman, and she definitely would have done it for less than $80. At Hawaii Massage, cost would have run $20 to house and maybe $30 to woman for 30 minutes in house at the massage parlor. The women in the "best clubs" being (1) Le Palace and (2) Elite would give you their phone numbers for a date the next day, and you could negotiate a lower price, maybe $100. You had to be very careful at Elite though, as women can lose their job there for giving out phone numbers. The one I talked to walked up to me as I was about to leave, called me something like a desgraciado pinche pendejo, y no voy a ir con Ud. Senor, nunca, after which she quickly handed me her phone number on a tiny, tiny piece of paper.

350USD!!!! that is absurd. I would never pay that -I don't care how horny I am. You are basically paying South Beach Miami prices - forget it! What really ticks me off, is that you did not even get 350USD worth of service. I expect BBBJTC, DATY, and her sister - everything that 350USD should be able to give you in a foreign country. I have a local Panamanian girl who is a non-pro begging me to visot her in Pananama for teh past 2 months now. I met her via amigos.com. I asked her about the Decameron hotel, and she said that it's a very nice all-inclusive hotel she even sent me a picture with her bathing suit on there. Anyway, this chics has been very sweet, and speaks fluent English with minimal mistakes in grammar and pronunciation. I wonder if teh non-pros are as sweet as the non-pros in Colombia. Any thoughts?

Batman, I did meet some nonpros in Panama. I went out with a few and met others at a party. Three were from Colombia -- a couple of babysitters and a student. The Panamanians included a student/single mother, a couple of women who work in a bank, a schoolteacher, and a woman who manages a small business. The Colombians were all sweet, and the student was girlfriend (maybe wife) material. Of the Panamanians, basically, it was about what you'd expect. The student/single mother and the school teacher were very sweet. The bankers and business owner weren't as warm, but still nicer than your average woman in the U.S.

This place is not like Colombia, where all you have to do is walk down the street to find your non-pro date for the evening. But better than Argentina. Using amigos.com to line up some dates beforehand is probably a good strategy. Women in Panama are on average even a little darker skinned than Colombian coast, although all shades. They are not as attractive on average as women from Colombia. The women on the street do not compare with the stunners in Golden Time. IMHO, the reason there's so much demand for Colombian hookers in Panama is not only the "wage discrepancy" but also that the Colombians are better looking.

You do run across more people in Panama, like your amigos.com friend and the bankers I met, that speak very good English. Most of the women I met, however, did not.

Good points Tiny. There is also a large Asian contingent living in Panama and the men prefer the lighter skinned Colombians. (so do the Panamanian men)

Tiny123, I was in Costa Rica in July and I met a Colombiana in the Blue Marlin Bar. She was about 22 and had braces on her teeth. She would not remove her top during sex. She told me she was headed for Panama City in about three weeks. She charged me $50 for an afternoon of fun. She stayed with me for a little over three hours, noted it was slow for the girls at the Blue Marlin during the day. Sounds like the same girl. She was very good looking and very good in bed.

Bootyman, I think it was a different one, but I could be wrong. I have to admit her English was just a little too good to have only learned it in school. This one didn't want to take off her clothes period, and I do think it was her first time to have sex for pay. Either that, or she was lying, and had some deep emotional scars from abuse or something.

Tiny, woudl you recommedn a flight to Panama City to meet this girl I met via miagos.com. We have been talking foir close to 2 months now - and yes, SEX is a topic of our discussions every time....she looks like she really want to enjoy sex with me when I get there - and she is not bad looking either - she has a Visa to come to the US whenever she wants for the next 5 years. I'm kind of skeptical about going however after reading your report. I feel I shoudl just save my money for a onger Colombia/Brazil trip.

Batman, I wouldn't go to Panama just to have sex with whores. Colombia or Brazil would be much better. However, if you're interested in the beaches, jungle, etc., and would like to be able to walk around or drive around without worrying about getting robbed, or worse, Panama is a good choice. I'd suggest you get a copy of Lonely Planet Panama guide or something similar and see if you think the place would appeal to you. You also might consider contacting some more women in Panama through amigos.com in case #1 doesn't pan out.

Yeah - I agree. I'm at least grateful for havinhg a heads up on what to expect in Panama. In case all doe not go to well, I'll just take a short flight to Colombia and forget all about it <grin>
