I am learning Spanish while living in Buenos Aires. If you are coming to South America for a few months it is worth getting some lessons. An added advantage is the opportunity to meet some hot profesoras. Most of the teachers are students themselves studying literature at UBA.
Last week I asked my teacher if she wanted to go out to the cinema with me ( it is a purely platonic relationship by the way ), and she said yes but we had to keep it quiet. Why I asked? Oh, the school have banned teachers from going out with students, was the reponse. Apparently the head of the school was getting fed-up with the teachers dating students. A bit odd as nearly all the students are adults over 18.
Anyhow, there is definitely an opportunity to find yourself a good looking girl here at a language school. It has several advantages not least of which is not having to pay for sex; but also free accomodation during your stay, and extra Spanish lessons in the evening. Apparently French guys are notorious for doing this on their tours of Latin America.
I am quite amazed how many attractive girls in BA do not have boyfriends. Many are tired of the typical South American male machismo and chauvinism. Women here are astonished if I mention that I enjoy cooking, as no self-respecting Argentine male would be seen anywhere near the kitchen.
So come along and show your sensitive side. You might not need to pay for sex!!!

Thank you for the information on learning Spanish while in Argentina. I will be in Buenos Aires for about ten days (late November and early December) and am interested in taking Spanish lesions - private or group.
Do you have a language school that you would recommend?
Can the language schools accomdate visitors who will only be in the city for a week to 10 days?
Thanking you in advance
