Prelude

Am now in BKK arriving yesterday in the afternoon.

It has been a few trips for me to LOS and I am looking forward to this one as much as all the rest, the excitement does not subside with experience. This trip is part business, part pleasure, I will have four days in BKK staying at the President Solitaire and then return at the end of Nov for five days either all in BKK or part in BKK and part in Pattaya. That decision is not made yet. I also hope to get up to Hat Yai from Penang, to try the action there. There are no fixed plans for this trip apart from trying the fishing as recommended by Wallstreet (Thanks again for the advice), except have one big party, stay in nice hotels, have lots of girls and hopefully meet up with a few of you for a beer or three.

As usual I flew with Eva Air, this time though in first class using air miles to upgrade from business class. The BC fare was £1,600 and upgrade 30,000 air miles. The flight was good, but I would not pay to go first, it is nice, more room, better food and wine, but not a huge difference from good old Evergreen Class. Arrived in BKK on time, I cannot see any reason to change from Eva in the future.
