Few months ago, went to India for a two week trip. Here is a brief report on
my first leg of the trip -- Mumbai (Bombay)
I'm not the greatest writer of puntering reports, so handicap me OK :)

PRE-ARRIVAL INFO: Most Europeans need a Visa to go to india. US Citizens can get a ten year visitor's Visa, or, get the regular Business Visa through your firm.

The currency is Rupees. The exchange rate is about 48INR = 1USD. It is a democracy and nearly all college going folks read-write-understand English. It has over 20 plus different languages maybe more.

ARRIVAL: All Airlines from Europe arrive arround midnight, and leave back to Orig
airport within hours. My flight from Frankfurt was on time, but another carrier had landed a few minutes earlier. Immigrations area was a total zoo. Added scrutiny was paid to my passport because of all the stamps. Without any exchange
of words, the officer stamped the passport, and I breeze through Customs. The Airport is BOM for old british name Bombay, the city changed it calling itself Mumbai. From the last trip I had befriended a kind-of-a-guide-majordomo-driver all rolled into one. So I had
called him to pick me up at the Airport. Stepping out of the Arrival Hall at midnight, hot and humid, you see a sea of humanity. For every Indian coming home, there are atleast five relatives out there to receive him :) Any way; my guide was there with my name displayed. I recognised him, and off we went to where he had parked his car. Surprise !!!!!
On a hunch, he had arranged for a lovely lady to be in the car. In Nov 2000,
when I first used his car-service, he had on the last two days inquired if I needed extra services and had brought to my then hotel two girls.

HOTEL: The hotel was very new Sheraton property near the Airport. The girl, Sheela,
picked up my garment bag, and the driver my carryon bag. I go to checkin, the frontdesk assistant pulls my reservation card, as I fill in information he calls the night supervisor. It seems that our Bombay Office, which made the reservation, were quoted and given an inexpensive, local currency rate and now starwood points either. The Rack-Rate was higher and had to be applied to foreigners. Similar shenningans are known to occur in many East Eurpoean properties of many major hotel chains too.

I'm Tired, I'm jetlagged, I want to get laid, I don't want delays :). So I raise my voice a bit, I agree to Foreigner's rates, and the Night Manager agrees to upgrade me to a suite, and give me points.

I pay my guy 100-INR (more than three times the cab fare), The bell-hop wanted to take my bag which I politely declined, He's persistent so I let him pick my carryon and he takes the garmentbag from Sheela. We follow him to my suite. I tip him and settle in -- I activate the safe and put my money, passport and tickets in. Hang my garment bag.

My Suite is luxurious. The girl is standing in the middle of the room looking lost :) I ask her to sit, I make polite conversation, since she is in a saree (an indian garment), it is difficult to guess her assets :) She is about 5'-2", smooth olive colored skin, wearing a gold chain and earings. I tell her I need to take a shower, and
asked if she was hungry or thirsty ? Should I order room-service ? No ! She's fine.

THE REST-OF-THE-NIGHT: I started to take my first shoe, off, Sheila quickly stepped towards me, kneels down next to me and untied my other shoe, removed my socks, then proceeds to unbutton my shirt, I let her finish undressing me :) I'm now in my jockeys, She got me a robe to wear. I got my toilet-kit from the bag and got into the bathroom to shave and shower, as I finished she was waiting outside with a towel. I dreid myself and take the robe. I walk off the bathroom I hold her hand and off to the bed.

She sits on my lap, and I give a peck on her lips. She slowly move her palms around the neck and shoulder, starts slowing massaging the back-of-neck and then removed from her side a handkerchef and wiped the lipstick of her lips. Then within seconds she had started from slow kiss to DFK.After a few minutes to carressing and DFK, I made an attempt to remove her blouse, and failed miserablly. She smiled, got up and began removing her saree, and petticoats and blouse. After completely undressing, She climbed next to me in the bed, removed my robe. She is a C cup, with her breasts sagging slightly, maybe 110 lb, around 20-23 years old.

I asked her to give me a massage first, which she proceeded to do. Her technique was not the greatest. I turned over my back and she a toungebath around my asbs and started with a BBBJ. Combination of jetlag, and general tiredness within few seconds I was cuming in her mouth. The suddenness of it surprised her, as a result she drank some, choked and spilled some over me. She got up and got a wet towel and cleaned me up. Got me a glass of water to drink. After snuggling for a few minutes, she processed to rub her breasts on my face, body. Half-an-hour of serious attempts on her part, I was ready and erect again. She opened her purse, pulled out a condom, and rode me like a cowgirl. Since I was tired, I did not do pushups :) After a few minutes I shot my load off. It's 2:30 AM local time. I needed some sleep and slept till late in the morning.

I wake up and see Sheela now in the bright light. She is not as delectable as she looked at night, more plump in the middle, more hairs than I like down there, all in all, not worth going for a DATY. I still am in a mood for some heavy foreplay and have another go around with multiple positions. Then I suggest we take a shower together. While I lathered her up good and clean, but she was not really responding in return.

We dress up, I take her to the the Coffee shop in the hotel, They serve breakfast buffet, both indian and continental style. Not wanting to have her come up to my room again I hold her hand walking out the coffeeshop and quietly slip in USD120 into her palm.

She wanted to know if I wanted her to come by again in the evening or tomorrow - I politely told her that I was headed out next day to DEL, which was in fact true. I make some calls, check BBC World to catchup on what's happening and then
called my guide I asked him to pick me up to go meet some folks in South Mumbai.

He informed me that I had aid her little too much. I said how did he know ?, Well as it turns out, she called him as she left the hotel, to change the USD to INR.

Next day, I head to DEL. I have the guide drop me off at the domestic Airport -
Domestic flights in India are cheaper when you buy the ticket there as opposed to in the US/UK through their General Sales Agents.

GENERAL INFO:
The going rate in Mumbai and other cities is around 5000INR for overnight, the girl is brought to your hotel room. This option has the disadvantage of not knowing what you'll get. OTH, these are mostly freelancers and do not punch
clock. Many work only during the weekend as they have another day jobs working in very low level positions. There is also a very large RLD in the city, which is really seedy with most girls/women between 2-4, and the rates are 300-500INR for a SOG.

There are no ads for Escorts in newspapers that I know of. You have to depend on Hotel Bell-Captains, Bartenders, Taxi-drivers, or local contacts. Discos within many 5-Star hotels are also have some freelancers hanging around bargaining is common and expected. There are incalls in the city too, which I have not yet experienced.

Great report so far. I'm anxious to learn more. I have many indian friends and they tell me that there is much to see in each part of the country.

This is the first report I have ever seen on India. For a country this size it seems strange that no one has anything to say about it. Granted, most of what you wrote sounds pretty much like any other place. Keep posting, especially about what things are like besides the sex.

Things to know about India;

Prostitutes are called sex workers and it is a very viable profession. Mostly young girls looking to make some money.

Prices are very cheap compared to ROW. $10-15 for ST. $25 for all night.

Bombay (mumbai)is probably the best city in India for hobbying. Dheli literally stinks to high heaven. Change a couple of $100 dollars and you will have a stack of Rupees 2-3 inches thick and dirty as hell.

There is a little Portuguese founded town called Goa on the coast that has a lot on action but the beach is very polluted . Every morning women search for oysters among the tidal pools and rocks.

Poverty is abyssimal all over India. You see kids taking baths in broken sewer lines, people living in tin and cardboard shacks. Entire generations of families staking their claim to a 10X8 section of sidewalk to sleep on, mothers begging on street corners (and this is controlled by local mafia types) with babies sucking their sagging breasts.

1.1 billion people; 4,800 dialects where neighboring tribes 2 miles away can't communicate with each other; only 29 million telephone lines; a years wait and $10,000 to get your name on the list.

Every city smells horrible. You see women breaking boulders with 8-16lb sledge hammers for road gravel because it is cheaper than buying heavy duty equipment.

Cows are sacred in India yet it is one of the largest leather exporting countries in the world. When I questioned this phenomena the response was "many of them die". You can buy the finest quality leather goods for pennies on the dollar versus US prices.

I made 6 trips to India during 94-96. It is the least desirable place for me to return to in the world except perhaps Bangaledesh or some African countries.

I would not advise going there strictly for mongering activities. If you happen to find yourself going there for business avail yourself of of the Sex Workers because they can be quite an experience. Other than that; poverty, poverty, poverty. Sickengingly so!
Best part of visiting India is leaving for better environs.

Sorry for the double post

Sandman: Most of what you pointed out is true. It is a democracy, it is stable, and english is understood easily. However, since '96 there has been an explosion of IT based resurgence. NO High-tech software or Hardware company wants to be left behind in their rush to open R&D Centers. I'm just following the money :)

IBM/Intel/GE/M$$Sft/HP and the list goes on, have all set up research labs, and development centers to tap into an English speaking educated engineering talent.

High-end luxurious hotels are abundant in cities where needed. Gets one's job done :)

100% agree with Sandman on this. It was so horrible, I couldn't bring myself to partake of the many available mongering activities.

I threatened to quit my job if they sent me back there again...

On Sandman's comments- I saw a documentary called "boatbreakers" or something like that- people tearing apart supertankers with the most rudimentary tools for the scrap metal. Amazing to think that is cheaper to have people using rocks and chisels to do this rather than cutting tools, etc.

To Citydude's comments- I once flew into Bombay at 1 am- thought I'd go over to the hotel near the airport for a quick rest before my 6 am flight to Bangalore- they wanted $385 for the room! The airport hotels are the most outrageous.

I'd go back to India anytime to visit and travel. Do agree that it's a poor destination for hobbying...

Friendly

CD,

There is no doubt about the available engineering talent there. Hell, all you have to do is look at key R&D names in US high Tech companies to know India produces some of the finest.

I believe many of the US firms go there because labor is cheap, educated, english speaking and US friendly Govt. It is not altruism but good old American profit motive at work.

By Citydude on Monday, May 13, 2002 - 06:46 pm:  Edit

Friendly: All hotels near the airport are US/EU chains, Ofcourse they'll charge what the market will bear :)

Sandman: Si, I agree about profit motive - New York and London used that to the hilt during Y2K. We know it :)

Let's focus on the after-hour activities :)

I may be the rare breed that makes lemonade out of a lemon -- IOW, make the best of where I am :)

Have to agree with you there. If ya gotta be somewhere, make the most out of the situation....

Friendlyplanet.
I saw that documentary and I use it as an example of truly bad conditions for people who moan about their lives. (as in...this is how bad it can get, at least you don't have to live like this.)I was supposed to spend a month in Pune a few years back (studying yoga), but I injured my back and could not go. Sounds like a blessing in disguised. BTW, forgive my ignorance, but what does DATY stand for?
