I arrived in Bangkok and checked into the Dynasty. But, still, the visions and sounds of Pattaya haunted my head as I realized it will be some time before I'm able to return. And that when I do return, most likely there will be no familiar faces anymore. No Lin, no Noy, no Kome. Bangkok is just not the same as Pattaya. Sure, it's a lot cleaner than Pattaya. But Bangkok is an international metropolis, and "fun" isn't the theme here as it is in Pattaya. And unlike Pattaya – where the whole city advertised and revolved around the sex industry – Bangkok's Nana Entertainment Plaza was just a hidden hole in the wall of the surrounding big city. Blink your eye as you're driving past it in the taxi, and you'll literally miss it! And everything is just so cramped in NEP. My first impression was that it....sucks.
