About five months ago, my wife of 17 years decided that she no longer wanted to be married. She simply got up and left me and the kids, and I hadn't seen her since. To help cope with my ensuing depression, I began frequenting strip bars and hooking up with women of nefarious character. No relationships...just casual sex for a temporary fix to my loneliness. Sometimes I paid for it, sometimes I didn't.

About a month after my wife left, an epiphany literally woke me up in the middle of the night, and my subconscious told me that I must go to Thailand. When I was a young 19-year old Marine, the senior enlisted used to tell us stories of Thailand women and how they "basket fucked" their men. Since then, I've always wanted to check it out for myself. Unfortunately, getting married at twenty shot that plan all to hell. Until now.

Whew! My first time ever to a foreign country (besides Tijuana, Mexico – as a child), and I decide to make it a sex-vacation to Thailand. And after having been back home for nearly two weeks, I'm homesick for Thailand. I want to go back.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not exactly a "loser" here at home. I live in Hawaii, and we've got bombshell babes all over the place. I was sexing two women before I left to Thailand, and we're still friends "with benefits." Both of them are strippers – so they're not exactly dogs. Yet, every Thai woman that I've shacked up with put both of my girlfriends to shame in every department: Looks, personality, attitude, and fun loving.

I was supposed to meet up with Bigballs; but, well, I just never got around to it. Sorry, Bigballs! Maybe next time...! And, yes, I have a few pictures of some of the women I met. I'll upload them later, when I find the cable that connects the camera to my computer.

I spent twelve days in Thailand. And I've come back a new and stronger man. I no longer think about my wife (who, I later found out, was cheating on me before she left). Thailand was the exact thing I needed to cure my depression -- it was my Twelve Steps to Recovery.

And what a great ex-wife recovery trip it was. I applaud your willingness to take off on your own, on a first trip overseas, to LOS and you did it with style and finesse.

Just one thing.....quit tipping them so GD much....makes it tough on the rest of us mongers....ha ha ha..

Nice job Guzz

Hey Brah! Welcome to the club. Great report. Used to be a Townie (worked and lived at Ft. Shafter) and know what you mean about all the babes. Miss the sistas, especially the Happas. You should also check out the Phillipines since its so easy to get to Hawaii from Hawaii. Philipinas are "plenty" good.

Welcome, GB. Sorry about the circumstances precipitating the trip--it's never easy--but, hey, wise decision to get out there and have some fun.

Since my profession involves offering advice in these kinds of circumstances (that's all I'll say), my advice is that you now schedule a trip to Brazil (Rio), and then alternate between the two places. You can't possible have more fun, and variety is the spice of life.

Good stuff Guzybear.

I always find the strip clubs in Hawaii more fun than the ones on Mainland, nicer atmosphere. There were some serious hotties there, with that cute ribbon around their thighs that I don't see here on the mainland. I never got to bang any strippers though

Thanks guys!

As for the tipping...yeah, I know I was being too generous. I KNEW that could lead to the ladies expecting more from future customers. Next time...next time I'll be more cold-hearted and less good-hearted. Promise!

Yup, Merlin, Philippines is definitely a destination for a future trip. Kinda scared to go there, though. My wife's brother was murdered there (in Manila) about 15 years ago. Basically, some thugs were extorting his mom (who lived here in Hawaii) for money. And when she drained her entire savings sending them money, the next thing she got in the mail was a picture of her son...dead.

But Brazil is also a definite possibility. Ahhhh...so many choices, so many choices...

Guz,

I'm glad to hear you had great time in Thailand and got yourself out of the circumstance in which no one really wins.

Enjoy your life when you can!

Guzy, AC wasn't that scary, I was in Makati (Manila) a few weeks after they had coup attempt so that was kind of unnerving 'cause they still had soldiers patrolling some areas. AC felt like a small town where you see the same expats and everybody was laid back. Lots of tourist police.

Rio has some breathtaking women but be ready to jostle with fellow mongers for the lookers at the termas.
