Yesterday, I went to La Salsera "early" at night (http://www.lasalsera.com/). ar$5 the entrance. I got advantage of the lessons and spend part of the night dancing. There is at least 3 women per men there, though not many stunners. Nice place and relaxed atmosphere with chicks asking you for a dance, a different picture from that of Fridays night.

By 2:30AM, I went to BA News (http://www.buenosairesnews.com/). ar$15 the entrance. The place was full of people in their 20s, apparently due to their 8th anniversary. Nice music and performances (Jamiroquai, classics of the 70s and 80s, Latin remix, fashion parades entertained by a transvestite, etc). I spotted a couple of girls who may be semi-pros, but the ambience doesn't call for such venues. I will try to visit it some Thurdays to see if there are semi-pros available there.
