Preface:
I will begin by saying I look for the following criteria in a club:
1. talent in fair numbers.
2. not too pushy (in terms of drinks or BFs), as this really turns me off of a club.
3. comfy seating
4. last, but not least, girls with good attitudes.
All of the go-go types bars I frequented were located along Fields Avenue and were within easy walking distance to one another. There are also several very small, aesthetically challenged bars located on near-by Santos St, specializing in short-time blow jobs. I didn’t spend much time on Santos due the fact I usually hit the sack around 6AM. Prior to gorging myself on young Filipinos, I spent most of the early afternoons sleeping and/or taking care of some work-related stuff via the net. Notes:
*All barfines were identical, no haggling needed (imagine that!); 1000 pesos for barfine ~roughly 20USD, which includes the service). I usually gave the girls a couple hundred pesos as a tip if the service warranted it and they seemed happy.
* If you’re looking for a discourse on my sexual romps and photo essay, you’ll be disappointed. When I get back to the hotel only one thing is on my mind and it isn’t chit chat and taking pictures.
Bar Overview:
Over the course of 5 days, I visited most, if not all of the major bars located along Fields Ave. Some bars had a good selection of worthy girls; most had at least one or two do-able chicks. I did not see what I would call a 10 at any, but there were usually two or three 7-8ish types at the larger bars. If you’re into warm/friendly personalities, the personalities of the girls in AC more than made up for the lack of stunners.
The general atmosphere of the bars was pretty laid back, especially at the larger clubs. In a couple of the smaller clubs girls were over me like bees on honey (perhaps cuz it was real slow), so you’ll need a lot of willpower if your just poking around and want to do any talent scouting.
Bar Sampling. Bars are listed in order of preference:
Blue Nile: Hip place. Best talent overall (I think) in AC, decent music/seating, girls were quite friendly. Didn’t see a dramatic drop off in talent as the evening wore on.
Blue Nile Exectutive: Awesome layout, very friendly mamasan/girls. Limited seating relative to the popularity. Fun place to bring your BF to party also.
Camelot: Ok—perhaps a controversial pick placing it so high, but I had a great time here each and every time. The mamasan and papasan were cool as hell (I got plenty of free drinks), they had enough attractive girls (weren’t quite top tier), but they were VERY friendly and outgoing, it didn’t matter much to me. I spent more hours, drank more, and also BF’ed (about 10 in the 5 days) here more than anywhere else. Comfy seating too! If you go, tell Margie (CG waitress) or either of the sisters (if working) hi!
Cambodia Club: Nice club with some very good talent. Too bad I couldn’t sample it as I already BF’ed each time I went and was with girls them already. Regarding that, I don’t particularly recommend barhopping with a BF. Girls didn’t seem to like the competition AND if your BF knows a lot of girls in other clubs, you got to listen to the boring gossip.
Cheetahs: Cool new club. I went as it was opening and I did not see one girl worth doing on stage. However, they did have two of the cutest waitresses (very petite yet curvy, innocent looking) working that were pretty darn hot. Sidenote: Unfortunately, the first night I was with a BF who wasn’t into threesomes. The waitress was hitting on me hard and I felt like tossing my BF out of the bar, but instead decided to come back the next night. The next night, I arrived about 20 minutes late-- someone barfined then and was licking their chops!!! As Arnold says, “I’ll be Back!” Regarding the talent, I expect it to increase as the bar matures and becomes known. Fun atmosphere and good seating along the sides in back.
Confettis: Cool mamasans, girls were a blast to party with, fun place to get drunk and hang out. Sidenote: BF’ed one waitress from here, who was hard to shake. In short, unless your used to tossing girls out the door, it is hard to shake girls. The chick I BFed from here almost refused to accept the fact that my dick was moving on to moister pastures. She cried for about 2 hours, called the mamasan asking for advice, etc. The ordeal was a bummer and a headache. Soon forgotten though as I nailed another chick (ST quicky) within the hour for stress relief.
Amore: Some decent looking chicks. There were lots of Asian clientele who smoked like cigs were going to be banned the next day. Stayed for a drink, went outside to catch my breath, and never returned.
Champagne Bar: I stuck my head in twice. I had some high hopes based on the EPIs reports, but all I saw was a small bar with stale air and no lookers. Perhaps bad timing, so I’ll poke my head in again during my next trip
Lancelot: Decent looking bar, however where are the chicks? Mostly 4-6’s. I’m not sure why, but this place had me yawning before I finished my first drink…
Part 2 Scorecard (category, choice e.g., PI, LoS, note):
Massages: LoS, I love massages, but PI doesn’t even register in this department whereas LoS is the king of the hill.
Bars (interior criteria): AC, AC has a smaller, more compact clustering of bars. The quality is on par with LoS, but they tended to be less pushy and have more of a party atmosphere when compared to LoS. A big plus for me.
Girls (looks): LoS. AC has some lookers and has plenty to keep you busy, but LoS easily gets the nod for quality and sheer numbers of lookers.
Girls (service): Tie. I was going to give the nod to LoS, but there is too much variance to make the call. In short, Pattaya and AC are “close” in terms of service, Bangkok and Manila are close are well.
Girls (GFE): AC. As indicated in every report, the hardest thing about AC is not finding a girl to fuck, but getting rid of her the next morning. Let me know if you have an easy, but nice way to boot em out—Please . Every girl I met in AC provided full a GFE experience. It is the standard mode of operandi here.
Conclusion:
AC – LoS – Tie
3 – 5 – 2
I’ll stick by my numbers, and give my nod to LoS for a much better overall mongering trip. It is clean, safe, lots to do, good food and culture, the girls are damn nice for a “good price” and there is a massage joint to explore on every corner. I haven’t been to Rio (yet), but it is hard imagine anywhere beating out LoS in my Scorecard Series.
On the other hand, if your looking for lots of sex on the cheap from girls who 1) speak decent English (I’ve never really had a problem communicating in Thailand tho) and 2) will make you feel like their boyfriend at all times (whether u like it or not), AC is hard to beat-- if the smell and clutter doesn’t bother you that is. I adjusted to the conditions, and look forward to a return visit late Feb.
