It's been some time since I've put out a trip report, so forgive me if I'm a little rusty.

Many of you have heard that since January of this year, there has been a crackdown going on in Cuba. The result of 10 months of crackdown? Who knows? I'll say this though, the chicas I met were grateful as hell to spend time with us. Ten months is a loooong time to be going without, and their attitudes were exceptionally well attuned to our needs. And I do mean Ex-Ceptionally.

While writing the first part of this report, you must forgive my brevity. You see, I was exhausted upon returning from my foray to fantasy island. Never in my life and in my many many trips have I gone for the gold like in this trip. And it wasn't without prodding either. You see, my mattress mates kept bidding me to give more and more to the point where I could no longer see straight. And not just one girl one time either....

To review, my methods in Cuba have always been to hook up with a favorita for at least 24 hours whenever possible. Sure the odd one or two won't pass the test after the first 2 hour session, but who's counting right? The ones that pass that test are then invited to stick around. The result is an effort on their part to make each session better than the last, and that is precisely the situation I encountered on this weeklong trip.

Cuba is a place that definately must get better, the more you go. The key is making contacts because the girls will always stay in Havana. Going once or twice wont do it and it will seem like the talent is not so high. This guy will go to the airport and meet you. If you rent a car and put him on the contract, as I frequently do, he will drive you around. Also, he will watch your back for you and make sure you're ok. He doesn't pimp girls because that is dangerous for him and he is a family man, but he will help you get a killer casa and make sure you are ok. Also, he has a cell phone which is invaluable if you want to keep the chicas lined up and waiting.

After you pay his expenses, a good wage for him is $25/day. You may or may not heed him for your entire trip, but he's a good guy to help get you acquainted to the town.

I have told him NOT to give out any of my girlfriends' information to the majority of perverts and whackjobs that frequent this board. FB is correct the key to finding a high quality chicas in Cuba is a little luck and a lot of patience. I work it like this;
If a girl brings up money in advance, she is probably, likely, almost definitely not gonna be a keeper with me. I always respond to their question with 'how much do you want'? Then I divide the number in half, telling them they can count on that amount, but I will pay more if I am very pleased.
That said, the majority of the good girls will not ask you about money in advance. After your first session with them, if you liked it, you can ask them to stick around. This will really bring your cost per load way down. Many girls are happy for TLN at $50-80 the first night. If you still like what they got, you can ask them if they want to stick around for another day at 50% of day 1. Most will say yes if they like being with you.
To me, cost is never as important as quality and performance. For that reason, many of my best chicas earn above average incomes from me, and are generally very happy to hear from me again. And you have no idea how much a cubanita can turn on the lovin' for ya until you connect with one. Brazilieras have everything they need and want for money and entertainment. Cubans have neither. You create a party good time in your casa and they will blow you away just to stay with you.
Avoid shopping on Prada near all of the high priced hotels, as most of the hardcores hang out there. Instead, get to know the chicas in your neighborhood and on the Malecon during the day. Go to a Rapido (fast food joint) and buy a soda for someone you like. Ask your landlady if she knows any nice girls that you can take out to dinner. (It is a given in that culture that if a girl goes out to dinner with you, you'll be in the sack that night)

Cuba Update:
As many of you may know, January 1st brought in a new year and some new policies to Cuban life. Most notable is that it is virtually impossible for cubans to use their (illegal) home computers to connect to the internet anymore. The private access was formerly available via prepaid internet phone access cards, which are no longer sold. Tourists can still use the internet in hotel lobbies, but Cubans are now cut off from the rest of the world via internet. It's a bummer for me because I frequently enjoyed buying a card and using the internet in my bedroom on my laptop. No more!

With that in mind, the email address I gave for my friend Frank isn't likely to get you a response. I've written him a time or two in the past 40 days with no response.

Oh...and something I've pointed out to a few buddies. Go back and look at the Tiger1 photo again. In it, you'll notice that Tigers' jeans don't fit her - they're rolled up at the bottom several inches. Ready for this? If you look closely at the top of her jeans, you'll notice that she's rolled the top down under to make them look like lowrider jeans.

Why am I pointing this out?

Recently, another boardmember ventured to cuba and he pulled girls exclusively from bars/discos. Take another look at her photo. Noteably absent are:

New shoes
CELL PHONE!!!
Jewelry - she doesn't even have any rings
(the necklace you see in Tiger2 was a gift ... from me... ;)
and her clothes were neither new nor properly fitted

If you pay attention to these details, you'll know when you're getting a lower-volume, sweeter girl. This one may well have been the best Cuban I've ever had. Hell, she's the one that tore my hernia! But it was worth it...

FangBunny - I don't know about that internet law/rule changing. I mean, I did hear the same thing, but I have a girl I met on amigos.com and while she did tell me that she was to lose her connection capability (over standard phoneline) last month - she is still using it here in February.

So maybe the government there can't enforce the new rule?
