If you've wanted to travel to Thailand but just haven't got off your ass.....You Lose! I have been to Thailand many times, I would and have suggested it to many a person.

This year I took 6 months off and decided to live in Thailand. I stayed for 4 months and had a great time. I never setup reservations in a hotel usually but this time I decided to get a room for my first 3 days. So, I thought I would try my luck on Priceline.com and see what would happen. Knowing the area I wanted to stay (Sukhumvit between Soi 4 and Soi 33) I went off bidding. I ended up getting the Novatel (4star) on Soi 33 for $55us a night, not such a deal but the going rate. Research the hotels rating and rackrate before you bid(the ones you like). The word is you can get the J.W. Marriott (5star) for $50 a night....nice hotel, great location. If you want a few other good choices for hotels with good location I would suggest the Majestic Suites $30-40 small clean rooms. The Parkway Inn just a few doors down $23 nice clean rooms or The Grand President $35-100 small to large clean rooms. The hotels mentioned don't charge a per guest fee. Now, there are many others I know...but These are 3 fine places to stay for a good price.

So, here I am at the Novatel, it's 2am I just arrived. Didn't feel like wandering around so I called a friend of mine from previous visits. She came over and the short version...she love me long time. The next day I met with another friend and looked for a apartment in the city. Found one on Soi 22 and was moving the next day. We spent the day together and that night....she also love me long time :-) Day 2 I moved to my apartment, it was large 65m, clean, good condition. 3rooms for 18,000baht/$430per month plus elec-water. Well, I ended up staying 1 night only because the noise on Soi 22 was so loud. I told the owner I couldn't work with all the noise. I was polite all the while...she only charged me 1000 baht for the night.

After looking around I found a condo on Soi 4 at the Omni Tower. It was 80m very nice, 33rd floor. I negoiated a price of 19,000baht/$450 per month + elec + water. My electric and water cost me another $40 per month. This is a nice place all the way around..I lived here until I departed Thailand. If anyone is interested in contacts for the Omni..just write to me.

As for the ladys.

Ladies are everywhere. I lived on Soi 4 well known for Nana Plaza. There are many bars on the Soi and many in the Plaza. I went to the Bus Stop often for food and drink. There you can find many ladies sitting around just waiting for someone to serve and talk to. The girls there are mostly from Issan and trying to make money for the family. I have taken about 5 or 6 women from there. The girls will ask for 1000 to 3000 baht shortime/longtime depending on the girl. What you pay is really up to you and what you want. The most I have ever paid there is 2500 baht and only because I knew the girl well and I wanted to give it to her. Also, these girls would like to have you be with them for more than 1 night. So, you can probably work something out for extended companionship. They are usually very nice, easy to please and speak some english..also trustworthy. Looks wise they range between 5 and 8. Word of caution, don't pick up one girl and then come back the next day and pick up a differnt one and so on an so forth......At this bar they discourage this...and besides...there are plenty others elsewhere. This is a nice place to hangout...don't fuck it up for yourself.

Just down the Soi a bit is a 7-11(halfway down the Soi) if you turn right at the 7-11 and go straight you will walk past Annies famous massage on your left. Annies massage is a fun place. You go in and the Mamassan takes you to the glass window where the girls sit on display. She ask you what your interest are and then suggest a few of the ladys. For 2 hours of pleasure the going rate is 1600/$40 for a large room. There you will get a bath and a massage along with anything goes sex. I have only gone there 2 times....but well worth it especially for alittle afternoon delight. Tipping is nice.

Then there is Nana Plaza....Nana plaza is filled with Strip Bars and Beer Bars. The Plaza usually is up and running by 6pm. The girls here are a bit harder attitudes but still alot of nice ones. You can have a good time roaming from bar to bar seeing all the T&A while getting drunk. I like Angel Witch and the VooDoo they are always fun. The girls usually ask between 1500 and 2000 baht. I always try to negoiate a price just for the practice...if they say no...then I can always give them what they ask. As for the bar fine...it is now 600 baht which I think is bullshit..but that is the deal. The drinks prices are arond 90 to 120 baht..more than most places. If your there at closing time you will be able to wait on Soi 4 and catch the dancers and freelancers as they look for a customer. Nice looking girls at the Morning Bar just around the corner too.

Then there is the Eden Club, this is a great place for your early workout. The Eden Club specializes in fulfilling your fantasy. You get 2 girls for 2 hours of pure sexual bliss. The cost is 3200 baht for the session and a tip if you feel complete. Oh, you can have more than 2 if you want. They do everything a monger may want...and then some. The girls range from beautiful to feed me with a sling shot. It's up to you, just make your pick and go nuts. Eden club can be found on line www.edenclub-bkk.com Or you can find it on Soi 7 1/2 and Sukhumvit. Marc is the owner, Frenchman, nice guy but he doesn't put up with people just coming in to drink. His business is Entertainment and not the bar. So, if you plan to go there...go there for the Punanny.

Another Den is the Beer Garden on Soi 7. The Beer Garden is a good place to have afternoon drinks and a bite to eat. Beware, afternoon drinks can end up being a all nighter. This place is filled with mostly young freelancers from 11am until 2am. It is a great place to go and meet people, ladys and mongers. Alot of working men come here for afterwork drinks and to see one of there many girlfriends. I have had alot of good times in this place. It is not very expensive, people are always friendly, and girls come and go all day long. Girls just hang out waiting for someone to smile at them or buy them a drink. Then its up to you as far as what you want. The rate here is 1000 baht and that can be longtime or shortime...up to you mister:-P I have had some of the best pussy as far as performance goes in Thailand out of this place.

If you walk down Sukhumvit towards Asoke you will run into the Soi Cowboy. Soi Cowboy is another area where many a working girl can be found. The Soi is nothing but Beer Bars and Strip joints on both sides. Drinks are alittle cheaper here and some of the places have good happy hours. The women are a bit easier going here than they are at Nana. Rates and bar fines are about the same as they would be at Nana. I like the Doll House my self. Around the corner is a area of beer bars that have plenty of freelance girls waiting to swallow your pride. My favorite is to go have a few drinks at one of the beer bars, than wander over to Lólita's and get the 600 baht special. 600 baht will get you a wonderful hummer from a seasoned pro. Then it is back to the bar for another drink and to pick my girl or girls for the slumber party.

If you feel like spending too much money and think you need a girl that is all dressed up then you can go down to Soi 33 and visit the many upscale bars there. In my opinion it is way over priced, the girls are overpriced...although there are some stunners. The bar fines are way high and the pussy is no better and sometimes more of a pain in the ass then anything else. However...it is a good place for businessmen to hang out and get that I'm special feeling. Had a few from here....pussy is pussy.

The best known place to go Mongering in Bkk is Patpong. I have been to Patpong only 1 time. Once was enough for me. It has many hard core places, many touts, and is in my opionion a shit hole. However, many people like this place and there are a few cool places to hang out. It is worth a trip there once to see just how wacked it can get. So..make the trip just for the experience. Things change there often so check out some of the boards on the net to find out what places to avoid and the current scams that manifest there.

These are just a few places in Bangkok that offer alot of good times and plenty of Thai hospitality. Often before I go to Thailand I get into a Thai chat room and make a few new friends. Then when I go to Thailand I meet my new friends. Thai girls are alot of fun, and many are just looking for a good day. Treat them nice, take them to dinner,at the end of the night...if you don't want any pussy they wonder what they did wrong. If you can't get laid in Thailand ....you can't get laid.

As for my stay...I had a great time and met some great ladys. I would do it again in a heartbeat and hope I can. All together I spent around $8000 US for the 4 months I was there...this includes everything. At times I spluged and other times I was a cheap ass. You could get by on much less and you could spend a hell of alot more. I traveled around also, Chiang Mai, Kho Samui, Khorat, Pattaya. I made Visa runs twice...1 time Cambodia and 1 time Laos. I could go on and on...but I have too much for now.

Wow, great report, thanks for the write-up. I also had a great time on a couple occasions at the Bus Stop beer bar on Soi 4. At this time of year hopefully it wouldn't be as hot as it was then. I am intrigued by what you (and others) have had to say about the Soi 7 beergarden, sounds like a lot of fun.

Re: Eden, I will likely have a couple of chances to hit that place on my trip coming up in the next 2-3 weeks, but despite the glowing reviews of the performance of the girls there, I am still a little put off by some things about the place. First of all, the owner sounds like a total DICK. Second, the recent reviews about the offsite rooms have not been favorable. And for a minimum charge of 3200 baht, can you IMAGINE what kind of fun can be had on Soi 6 in Pattaya for that amount? Of course I won't have a lot of time in Thailand and BKK will be the only possible base of operations, so that leans heavily in Eden's favor.

Americangypsy, I personally preferred the PI to Thailand on my last trip, but I realize I am a nit in the minority here. Still, I'd recommend that you check it out if you have the chance, you'll surely have fun.
