I took a "last minute" courier run with Jupitar Air from LAX to Bkk for just $200 r/t. Only had to do two actual courier tasks, so it was quite a good trade. I had to stay in a very nice but very compact Japanese Hotel, Hotel Nikko, for 10 hours on the return leg though. The hotel was free.

Thailand was rather humid and it rained hard briefly starting on the third day but it helped reduce the heat level, generally in the low 90's. It's simply amazing how many gals are so friendly to Caucasian men there especially if you flash them a smile. NEP was now even more like Patpong than before i.e. a bit too much of a hustle feeling. I enjoyed the quieter Soi Cowboy bars the best, followed by the relaxed atmospheres of Beir Garden Soi 7 and Grace Hotel Cafe. Only went to Patpong briefly one night and did one gal at Chaophya 2 Bath & Massage on Sri Ayuthaya Road, # 43, Wee. A true cutie!, for 1700B plus 100B tip. 100 girls to choose from there, OMG or as you say in Thailand, "Oh my Buddha!"

A few other highlights:

One gal I had a strong attraction to from my last trip, shortly before hooking up with Metta (a gal I had considered to be my fiance from my previous trip in Dec. 2001), was a curly black haired petite bodied gal named Mai (1 2 3), a Thai/Khmer. Only 18 yrs and I had her phone number (02-650986 ask for #27) so the second day I called her over to my hotel (Dynasty Inn on Soi Nana at 990B/day) and she showed up about a half hour later. She lives somewhere on Soi 1. Dang, I really pounced on her once she entered the room. Really nice compact body and terrific face too, no baby. It was a rather short interlude though, couldn't resist letting go of my load on her! Well, I had intention of doing her again and I saw her again walking by at times but I just had by then too many others I wanted to do. The list can grow too quickly in Thailand... ;-)

I went to one beer-bar near Soi Cowboy to get a gal I passed up one night on my first visit to Soi Cowboy. In fact, I went back the second night but she wasn't there. She was 23, busty (nice 36c tits) and was quite good in the sack, met all my standars but she had had a baby and was a bit pompuie (fat), her name was Poo. Paid her 700B for ST and 400B for her barfine. Also in Soi Cowboy at the Jones Bar, I took another cutie named Dow. I could fall for her easily but she's got her mind set on paying off her dad's 150,000B bank loan ($3571 USD). She tells me she makes about 30K Baht per month, wow! Anyways, she's not had a baby with wonderful curves, light-skinned which is Cao or Cow in Thai. I hung out at the freelance places mostly into the late hours, 'coz the go-go bars get a bit boring. Often I started the day with a traditional Thai massage (330B), maybe a foot massage too at "T" Barber and Massage on Soi 13/Sukhumvit. I met quite a few ladies there, one I liked was named Tip (1 2). Not really my type, being so tall (5'7"), but she had a nice personality and fantastically interesting slanty eyes. Gun was funny and Not was better looking, all were nice sweet girls. Then I'd often take my lunch at McDonalds or on occasion eat at the outdoor restaurants near the Bier Garden freelance beer-bar on Soi 7. I took one gal out of there, "Eve" that wasn't particularly affectionate but caught my eye for her somewhat Indian looks and nice petite body. She hailed from Phuket. I had intended to do her LT, but changed my mind to ST (1200B) I spoke to Ann again at BG Soi 7, who I did last time for 1000B, and who is a true Thai beauty, I mean model type, but I didn't do her again. Ann speaks English well 'coz she lived in England for three years. Ann is too business like though. I prefer more down to earth types. Then I'd often watch a few topless dancers for a few hours at NEP or Soi Cowboy before going to Nana Hotel Disco. Please check out Star 5 Bar on Soi Cowboy (Soi 23), #31 is a beauty! The Nana Hotel Disco (Soi 4) was generally overly packed though at midnight, hard to move around, crumpy boom-boom music and too dark to see the girls well. It closes at 2am, so the girls head out to the parking lot of the hotel to again try to hook-up with guys, soon about 85% head over to Grace Hotel Cafe (Soi 3) which doesn't close. I met Sow (1 2 3) inside Nana Disco and spent two days with her, she's had a baby though, but had the most lovely long brown curly hair and was a bit of a drunk I learned. I liked her though, and found myself just beholding her beauty while she slept. She was a really loud moaner, let me tell you! At Grace Cafe, I would often stay until 5am or so, what a scene there, talk about Thais' loving to party, geez! I met Dem at Grace Cafe too, she was a Lao/Chinese looking gal with particularly bad breath but she was very much attracted to me and whenever I met her and she was always giving me strong eye contact, young lady, no baby, with Lao features, i.e. outwardly pointing ears. Well, I met Lek (1 2 3), a sultry type there too, age 25 yrs. at (Grace Hotel Cafe) and I loved her eyes, we ended up seeing Spyderman the next day together before splitting up. I generally paid 1500B for LT, that's $35 USD. Lek called me later to try and hook up again with me but I declined due to having Sow still in bed with me that afternoon. Lek had suicide scars on her wrists from a previous painfull break-up, she too was a very load moaner and had one particularly bad crooked tooth. Still, she'd probably be a very good girl to keep around more. Another girl I had my eyes on somewhat was Om at Grace, she kept giving me the the eye and we ended up doing a LT. I loved her long curly hair but her face wasn't quite what I liked with her wide-set eyes, but she had a very nice trim and petite body though. No sign at all of her having had a child, couldn't find one darn stretch mark on her tummy. Then on the next to last day of my stay, I met Rita at Grace from Hatyi, southern Thailand, who was a Malay/Indian looking gal, rather large build, big tits and tummy but she filfilled my fantasy to do an Indian. I did one BBBJ at Patpong at Kangaroo Bar, sort of a Fuck U2 Bar type place of Pattaya Beach fame. Kangaroo Bar is a BJ bar with very friendly gals, I did Katai for 700B in the ST room there inside the bar. She's very good at BJ, she's a petite long haired gal, not a true beauty but very friendly and fun to hang with; excellent skills as I've mentioned. You can do ST in the bar if you wish for 1000B, no barfine. Only about 8 girls to chose from though.

Well, I could have stayed another week easily in Bkk and gotten a few more under the belt but it was enough. Next time, I'd likely spend more time in Soi Cowboy area though, in fact, if there was a failry good hotel down that way, I'd chose it. I only went into Thermae, another freelance place, twice for a brief search for Metta, but I only met up with her girlfriend, May, who filled me on her new interest in Scott, an American she plans to marry in two months. Thermae is a good relaxed place to hang out but Grace Cafe is a bit more wild and it stays open 24/7.

Well for more information already written, go to the courier section, but in summary you can call Jupiter Air at 1-650-635-1700 and ask for a "last minute" courier assignment. These will be departing in only a few days so you have to act fast, otherwise you could request a certain set of dates in the future but you'll pay about $450 for a full courier fare which will still save you about $200 over a typical discounted airfare of $650. Another way to monitor last minute courier fares is to go to the website for Air Courier Association because they list daily the latest discounted courier assignments at 10am. You'll still have to contact the actual courier company to get the assignment though. One year membership is like $29, but I joined as a lifetime member for $89. Anyways, with Juipiter there is a $35 fee that must be paid every three years, then a $100 refundable deposit and the fare itself. You get an information packet listing in detail all of your duties, which are rather simple. Basically, you are sitting on the plane for them as their representative for which they can check-in their bags of express mail to the Asian destination. You'll likely be told to hold a manifest listing the documents that are being sent that are later handed to their staff members when you arrive in Asia, so that the customs officals can review the items. You'll wear a Jupiter sticker on your shirt so that their staff can spot you and you'll also be told specifically where to meet them in the airport, say, Customs checkpoint #1. After that, you are free to enjoy your vacation. Call them three days prior to your departure to arrange the next meeting point. That's basically it and it is not hard work at all but they do expect a responsible person. Failure to perform the duties could cause you to pay your return airfare at full price, plus loss of your deposit. Hope that answers your basic questions. I averaged about 4200B per day, that is $100, not counting my hotel $20/day. The 4200B allowed me to get a daily massage (traditional Thai massage), eat, drink and one ST, plus one LT. If you book yourself into either Nana Hotel or Dynasty Inn Hotel on Soi Nana, you should not have any taxi fares, but even so, they are cheap to use at generally 35B or just under $1, that's because most of what I've described is within easy walking distance of Soi 4 (Soi Nana). Going to Soi Cowboy could be walked to but it would take 25 minutes, instead take the skytrain from the Soi Nana station for 10B and get off at the next station, Asoke, and walk to Soi 23, turn left at the Shell Gas station and walk a block and a half. It's possible to take the skytrain to Patpong as well, opposite direction though.

Blazers, the price for last minute courier airfares varies from destination to destination and from day to day based on what they think it will take to get somebody interested to go. For instance, I notice that SFO to Singapore tends to have the most attractive offers, like $120 r/t at times. LAX to BKK seems to go no lower than $200 but I've heard of free offers too, same for SFO to MNL at times. The company loses too much money if they can't get the packages there the next day as promised so they are willing to lower the price even more if necessary. The courier company has already bought one seat for everyday of the year to the destination at a very discounted price from the airline, so what their actual cost is, I don't know but I'd imagine it is somewhere around $300 r/t, maybe $200. As for your question Rocket, I answer that nobody has included anything or given me anything to include in my personal belongs, that is to say my own check-in or carry-on luggage. I never really thought of the courier packages as my own belongings, but I suppose that I should ponder that more.
