This is my last night in PP (Jan.1). I easily had the time of my life in PP, SV and SR and will consider this one of my favorite destinations. I still think LOS has more head turners, but there are some experiences here that cannot be found elsewhere -- unlimited "sampling", cheapest pussy, the raw and basic mongering experience, and VN fellatio skills. Also, some girls here are just incredible and I tried to post as many pics as possible to give you an idea of the range and diversity of the looks. I’m sure no amount of convincing from me, Sancho and others will change your mind about Cambodia, but this is just as well, as it’ll remain a mysterious and misunderstood destination that will keep it our little secret Mongering destination for some time to come.
Here are some final comments and some helpful tips after 9 nights at PP.

SAFETY: is NOT an issue in Cambodia anymore, especially if you use your common sense. I found it more unnerving in Latin America (Mexico, Costa Rica, and Brazil) than during my 9 nights in Cambodia. In fact, as some of you may know, one of the few times I was in TJ, I was mugged by the TJ police one time and forced to withdraw cash from my ATM before they let me go after 2 hours of driving around. I reported this to the U.S. embassy back in April and even provided a statement. Manila was a bit scary as well, lots of armed guys. There are armed security guards here, but tell me a place where there isn’t. The only time I felt even remotely uneasy was when these guys with shaved heads, tattoos, and baggy clothes came to Martinis to pary on New Years eve. Loud and rude, and a product of the USA. I soon found out these guys were recently U.S. residents that were deported for criminal activity. These Chollo wannabes were U.S. exports who came to Martini because the disco played U.S. rap and hip-hop. Ironic, that the locals caused me no fear, but that products of U.S. streets did. Something to think about when comparing safety in a 3rd world country.

LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURNS: I've had more foursomes than I can remember. But IMHO, two girls are best as the girls really play off each other in bed and keep each other company. Having 3 at a time is wasteful and inefficient as one is always waiting for her turn. Having one is uncomfortable b/c communication is null and the girl get's bored silly.

COSTS: the average cost of the motos to anywhere in PP is 1K-1500 riels (.25 –30 cents). If you arrive by moto or taxi to a brothel, they customarily will take on a commission to your fees. Figure out how to get to these places on your own, or establish a “relationship” with your driver or motodop.

HOTEL: As I stated before, I prefer the Hawaii Hotel, but the Paris was decent. I believe McDijj stayed at the Paris and didn’t care for it too much. The Paris has a massage/fishbowl on the 2nd floor, a pool hall on the 2nd floor, and it gets a bit loud at nights. At the Hawaii hotel, its very quiet if you get the rooms away from the busy street. It's a bit pricey at $20-$40 per night, but the location cannot be beat. The Hawaii hotel doesn’t check girls’id’s but they always call your room when the girls leave to make sure everything is ok when the girls are leaving.
Be careful of hotels and their girl-guest policies. There are several upscale hotels that cater to NGOs. I met one poor American at the Embassy who had the misfortune of checking into the Cambodiana hotel that was wall to wall NGOs who gave him stares as he tried to bring in a girl. The Cambodiana also tried to charge him a $40 guest fee! The guy came over to the Hawaii Hotel and in a room 2 doors from me.

ANOTHER P4P PLACE I MISSED: The Walkabout Hotel and the surrounding areas, near 51st Street has a number of bars, pool halls, and hangouts where Martini and Sharkey Girls congregate in the late evening hours. There are a bunch of bars here where the girls try to hook up, often GFE, with foreigners.

SVAY PAK: Svay Pak was easily my favorite ST and LT take out joint. There are 8 to 9 houses operating now, about 3-4 of them with 15-20 girls. Generally, the service here is excellent and the houses are all VN girls. I can’t imagine what it was like a couple of years ago during its heyday, because it’s quite good now. After 9 trips out to Svay Pak I can honestly say that it is safe and there are some fine gals to be found there.
The Svay Pak mamasans take complaints very seriously and will smack the girls around for the most trivial offenses. The girls are also deathly fearful when you threaten to call mamasan. Get the mamasan’s phone number when you take the girls out of Svay Pak and use that as leverage if the girls horse around. I got 4 BBBJ from two girls throughout the night by having a cellphone handy, next to my bed, and waving it around. Also, I got to know a couple of Mamasans very well and they readily admitted to me that the police are "taken care of" by them and won’t harass their house or their guests. Some of the “reputable” houses will not serve up underaged girls. The houses that are closed are the houses where the mamasan refused to "take care" of the officials, these mamasans also got arrests for ticket violations, etc. I went to Svay Pak at all hours of the afternoon and night, It is best to go during twilight hours when the cops are having dinner. It’s strange and a bit eerie at night time, but I never felt threatened or unsafe, even at 11 pm.
I would advise always taking your own towel as the ones they provide you are filthy. You should do this for the other brothels as well. You can buy cheap towels at the Central mkt for 50 cents. It’s also good to take your own toilet paper around.

GETTING CASH: Although there are no ATMS in PP, money is readly accessible. There are several banks in PP that give cash advances. The best bank was the Cambodia Commercial Bank, near my hotel, which charges 2% on Traveler’s checks and Credit Card Cash Advances. Don’t forget to take your passport.

NON P4P FUN:

Ganga or pot is readily available and you will smell the stuff all over Martini bars and in your hotel. The hotels don’t care, but the neighbors complain. Be careful as I "heard" this stuff is more potent than what you may be used to.

SHOOTING RANGE, there are 3 shooting ranges operated by the Army near the airport area. The girls love to go there and I found them to be better shooters than guys – girls are better at squeezing the trigger instead of letting it rip. Easily the best selection of hardware that I’ve come across in my travels, including all types of Ak-47s, Uzi’s, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, M-60 machine guns, .50 cal machine guns etc. It’s very expensive to go shooting b/c the amo is so expensive $30 for 30 Ak-47 bullets, $200 for a grenade launcher, etc. I “heard” you can purchase a chicken for $15 to practice on…one big, red rooster at this shooting range actually costs $25. When I asked why, the trainer said that they call him “Ho Chi Minh” because of his prowess in evading European tourists’ feeble assassination attempts on its life. Also, be careful with the “trainers” as I had one experience where the nitwit was trying to un-jam a tommy gun, and then the gun went off on the ceiling about 3 foot from where I was standing.

Go-Cart. By the airport, there is a cool go-cart area where you pay $7 for 10 laps around a very fun track. It’s a good place to take the girls as they absolutely love this place.

Pool Halls. There are a bunch of pool halls all over the City.

SHOPPING CENTER: Sorya Shopping Center (5 minutes) from Hawaii Hotel is a new, 5 story shopping mall with a great food court and a bunch of shops. It’s air conditioned and a very good place to people watch.

There are no Buger Kings, KFCs or McD’s, thank god. But the local food is incredibly good and cheap ($1.00 average). It’s a lot more expensive at the River Front Area.

RIVER FRONT AREA: The River front area has a lot of very touristy hotels, cafés and restaurants. McDijj stayed at the California Café/Guest House, which is very nice but they only had about 12 rooms there. The river front area is about 15 min. walking to the Central Market Area, it’s less congested and a lot more comfortable for Westerners. A lot of high speed internet cafés here also.

Driver: I can't say enough good things about my driver, Ben Wee, who selflessly refused commissions. showed me around to the places worth visiting, and steadfastly came out with me until the late hours of the mornings. The guy is a class act and a very safe driver (more conservative them me). His knowledge base itself is worth the money of $20/day.

MotoDop: there is also a motodop guy named Theary who was good at finding the good places. Theary tried a couple of times to get commission, but he was protective and affable.

Merlin, many thanks for all the great update information on PP. I too have a special fondness for the place, as I have had many incredible VN girls on my two trips there. One repeater I did at Svay Pak gave some of the most incredible head I've ever experienced.

Question for you: where abouts on Street 63 are the houses currently operating? Can you give a rough guide, say for example between Streets 154 and 200? If you had to guess, how many houses are there?

Wow, wow, wow!!!

What a great report! Real good info. I'm meeting up with Sandman in AC and Pattaya in 2 weeks and because of your report we were seriously considering hitting PP instead of Pattaya.

Though we finally agreed to keep the original itinerary, the question begs -

AC or PP.

I don't think it'd be fair to throw Thailand in the mix, because of the cost factor.

Thanks again for a great report!

Mura, the mamasan at one of the houses in Svay Pak told me that all their girls are "trained" when they get to their houses, which explains the consistently good BBBJs and great service at the VN houses in PP, Siem Reap, and Snookyville. The BBBJ was less predictable and less consistent elsewhere. You are probably the only other guy that will believe me when I say that nearly every VN girl had an incredible body.

As for Street 63, I forgot to note where exactly the houses are, but they are all clustered around Street 63, near Tommys. I counted about 7 or 8 houses --- Tommys and 2 or 3 near it w/ about 10 VN girls each on street 63 itself; 2 bigger houses off street 63 w/ about 15-20 Khmer girls, mostly for the locals; and 2 smaller, new houses in the evenings off route 63. If you need exact locations, my buddy/driver Ben Wee knows all of them and would be more than happy to email you the directions.

WS, great to hear you will hookup with Sandman in Thailand and AC, I would give my left nut to become part of the 3 muskateers; but, I guess it'll have to be the dynamic duo. I still consider Pattaya something that just has to be experienced and I still count it as one of my favorite destinations. Pattaya has more and better looking girls in general and a lot more varied activities.

Also, I think your itinerary --AC to LOS is an excellent one. The filipinas are the most fun and generally provided above average service; plus, there are always lots of guys to meet there to hang out. In PP, if you come, I would suggest taking some time to really get to know this place and squeeze in a trip to Angkor Wat. But hey, as we discussed before, we should all be having the same dilemma as you guys.

Merlin I agree 100% on almost every point except one. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) Trust me I sampled allot of Cambodian "Ganga" in all of the cities I visited and although it was indeed quite good I can hardly describe it as "more potent than what you may be used to". It was merely good quality commercial grade weed. An order of magnitude less potent then "The Kind" grown right here in good ol' California. Cambodians are light years away from having the resources and know how to be able to compete with American pot growing technology. That said, the fact that it was practically free if not completely free more than compensated.

Also on safety, I was out until 2:00am almost every night I was in the country. I felt completely at ease and safe in Phom Phen although as in any city that size, a stupid move could get you in trouble, and visiting KM11 exactly the day after a major raid where Japanese and German tourists as well as mamasans were arrested kind of added a level of tension among the locals that passed on to me. It sounds like it has subsided a little based on your report. Koh Kong seemed safe to me as well. Sihanoukville however is a very spread out city with different areas separated by very dark deserted areas and those areas obviously scared the hell out of the locals very late at night. There were stories of violent tourist robberies and even a recent brutal gang rape of a British woman on a dark stretch along the main road from Downtown. I was out every single night till 2:00am and frequently made runs back and forth between the port district and downtown at those hours and never personally felt threatened but I would do it only with a motodop or taxi driver you have enough trust in to keep you safe. The guy I hired there may have tried to cheat me from time to time but he was otherwise a likeable guy and more importantly I did trust him on issues of safety. I observed him taking all kinds of safety related actions very late at night that someone without local knowledge would not know of, such as talking alternate routes to avoid certain roads after 10:00PM when the police go home and waiting in safe areas until other traffic came along so as to not pass through dark areas alone. I always questioned him when he did stuff like that and he always answered "that area very quiet at night". Cambodia is indeed safe except late at night in dark deserted areas that are sometimes unavoidable. A car is safer than a Motodop but even cars have recently been attacked between Ochheuteal beach and downtown late at night. Gunmen trapped cars and motorcycles on the bridge. Like I said, I always felt safe there but in Sihanoukville either make sure you trust your drivers knowledge or bring your ladies back to the hotel before 10:00PM. But don't let it scare anyone away. It's easy to remain safe.

Actually, the ganga crap I heard about in PP ;-), especially at Martini, must have been mixed in with some yama poppies b/c it was a bit strong for my tastes and it affected my performance for about 8 hours. It could also be that I haven't been hearing too much about this stuff for awhile, and mabey if I heard about it more often, I would notice the difference ;-)

I had absolutely no troubles in Svay Pak as I mentioned and the mamasan and restauarant owners always had premonitions before a raid. There was one time that a teen tout told us to come back b/c there was an NGO person marking her rounds. It turned out to be an innocuous type of NGO, compared to the virulent type, that delivers free condoms and checks up on the girls.

Snookyville, wasn't all that bad, but you're right, there are a lot of darkened areas where you should be careful. Somehow, my driver seemed to think that we were impervious to robberies b/c we were in our car, maybe he thought we could out run them? Also, at those police checkpoints, they didn't check the cars at all for guns while they had motos lined up for thorough checks. I think being on a moped during the late nights is what makes it so easy for these louses. I would imagine that the low-life robbers are too poor to drive around in cars. You're absolutely right about developing some rappore with your driver or motodop. But all in all, I don't think Snookyville is too dangerous so long as you exercise due caution. Plus, b/c of all this publicity, the p4p scene was virtually all mine this trip.
