Getting there
Got a flight on Northwest. I think the best part was being able to check-in online at their website and print out my boarding passes. Maybe other airlines have this option too but not aware. After a 2˝ delay, finally got off the ground. They went from plan A to plan B to plan C; plan D would have been a cancellation. Because of that delay, I got a letter of apology from Northwest and as a ‘tangible gesture of good customer service’ as they put it, awarded me an additional 5000 miles.

Connected in Tokyo and luckily had a 3 hour layover cause that 2˝ delay ate most of that up so was just able to make it. Not to mention the girl taking the boarding passes was fine, how many Japanese girls do you find with a roundbootie

Then on my leg from Tokyo to Bangkok, I was in business class. Boy, you can sure get spoiled and not want to fly coach anymore. You get a goodie bag, they’re always asking you if you need anything, you get real drinking glasses and plates and silverware, not to mention the flight attendants look better too

Roundbootie, looking forward to your report. For some hotties stewardesses, you should try Singapore or Thai Airways or any other Asian airlines as these airlines deliberately put their lookers in the B-class section. NWA's stewardesses are unionized so I found that most of the B-class stewardess are old hags, the seniority system sucks and I'm glad the Asian airlines don't adhere to that.

Merlin -- At least on Thai Inter that is the only disadvantage of flying first class. They always have their senior attendants up there and have at least 2 male stews also.. Not a big problem usually though as I am wasted on Ambien for most of the trip !!!

KM, I did 1st C once and slept also, but I'm usually wide awake and alert during my flights when I'm on the top deck :-) I can always count on one or two lovelies there. I almost got a number for one stunner...who got annoyed after awhile b/c I tried to take her pic for the board. So, I wonder if the extra legroom and the cavier makes it worthwhile :-)

I'm with you on Business Class. on my last trip (circle the Pacific), I was on Korean Air (US - Korea), Asiana Airlines (Korea - China), Singapore (Beijing - Singapore), Singapore (Singapore - Brisbane) and Qantas (Brisbane back to US). All were on B Class. Services by all asisan airlines were very attentive, personal and classy but Singapore was one notch higher than others with respect to food, services, amenities provided in flight and yes, looker attendants!

Off2Golf, one of my buddies married a KAL stewardess who was in charge of the 1st class lounge in L.A. This girl could be a model! She was telling me that they have the strictist height and weight requirements, and that orientation and training involves something akin to a beauty/modeling class. Competition is fierce for the lonely, male business traveler and I must admit that the marketing execs on the Asian airlines know what they're doing to land the fares.

I remember about 6-8 months ago some upper level exec got himself criticized in the press because he stated that Thai Air was losing customers because it's flight attendants were getting old and fat while the competing Asian airlines were hiring new hoories all the time. He actually said business men like to have something nice to look at while traveling. While everyone scolded him publicly, behind the scenes they actually did cull the herd at Thai and refresh their staff.

I did hook up with one Thai stew coming back from BKK once. There were only 4 people in first class and she was surprised I could speak Thai so she sat with me for a good portion of the flight ,when the crew are usually in the back resting or sleeping. Damn she was fine !! gorgeous face and smokin body. The Thai aircrew frequently overnights at the Holiday Inn Crowne hotel just about 4 blocks from my home . I took her to dinner and we had a very interesting night afterwards back at my house. A once in a lifetime experience for sure. Never even got close before or after that one time.
One of my ex office nurses was an ex stew on Singapore air. She was older and married but was still very good looking. She kept asking if I wanted her to hook me up with current flight attendants because she still had a lot of friends who were based in LA and flew for Singapor air. Unfortunately I was involved with a Thai girl who was living with me at the time and never got the chance to take her up on the offer. By the time I kicked my tirac out the door, Gaek was no longer working for me , having moved out of LA area. I still get pissed when I think about it !!!!
