Here I was back in Asia after two months back in farangland. This was a spur of the moment trip and I went over the top and decided to take a trip for 16 nights in 3 countries and 5 cities. I booked a flight via Philippine Airlines for $604 to Bangkok because flights to the Philippines were going for $850 unless you chose China Airlines. The flight from LAX to Manila was long and arduous and I could only sleep about 5 hours. Once in Manila, we had a four hour layover.
