Trip report - Cannes, South of France.

I was in Cannes with a buddy in July for 10 nights. I have been there for the past 3 Summers. I fly from London, so my air fare is pretty reasonable £100 for a chartered flight, £200 for scheduled BA flights.

Cannes is probably the best destination in terms of nightlife, it is situated in between Nice and St.Tropez (the most exclusive party resort in Europe, if not the world).

Accommodation:

Hotels are the best for accommodation. The top hotels are right on the beach and have prices ranging from £120 and above. We stayed in a 4* hotel off the main beach avenue, 50 metres from the beach. It was called Croisette Beach hotel. They have doubles with breakfast for £90 which is about £45 per person. Excellent room, maid service, very clean. There are cheaper hotels the more you move away from the beach.

Food:

All sorts from McDonalds to Pizza joints and top restaurants. We normally had a pizza/burger lunch and then a proper meal in a proper restaurant in the evenings. The food, especially the sea food is divine. Food in a good restaurant should not cost more than £20 for 2 courses and soft drinks.

Weather and Beach:

The best time to go is between June and the end of August, the weather is great, 80's everyday. August is the busiest as the French are on holiday and all come down here. Along the main avenue is the beach, with all the private ones in the middle; right in front of their respective hotels, and the public ones on the edge. We went to both, both are clean, just that you get a bed and umbrella on the private ones for £10.

Action:

Pro:

There is a lot of action, and the price range is pretty wide. In the evenings you will find 5 - 10 streetwalkers placed along the main beach road (called La Croisette). They either sit in the bus shelters or walk up and down. My friend and I picked 2 up, they were Brazilian, I'd give them a 6 they cost £50 each for a one shot. We took them back to the hotel and had our fun with them side by side. No problem with the hotel, they don't even look at who you are bringing.

There are then the slightly classier girls, these ones drive their own cars, they are prettier, but more expensive. The cars are parked at an angle on the corner of the Croisette and side streets. I never went into these, but that's because I got some non-pro action (come to later). But I asked about prices and the quotes I got were around £200 for all night.

Finally the high class girls. They are found in the nightclubs and hotel bars. Their customers are rich Arabs, they are stunning, but are looking for between £500 and £1000 a night, only reason I know this is that we met 2 girls in a bar, one opened her le*s and had no pa**** on, and said do you want it. We chatted and then the initial price of £1000 but then reduced to £500. No chance!!!!



Non - Pro action:

Plenty of it. Cannes is full of tourists from all over the world as well as girls from all over France. There are 6 nightclubs in and around the Croisette, all full of holiday girls. It's like any holiday resort. Hence you need to be able to dance, flirt, buy them the odd drink and you are off. I managed to score with 2 non-pros, one Irish girl (7 looks, 5 body) and a French girl (8 body, 5 looks). The best clubs are:

Jimmyz (£12 cover and one drink)
Love (£12 cover and one drink)
Les Coulisses ( no cover )

This holiday for me was just a relaxing break, plenty of chilling on the beach, good eating and some action. Hope you find it useful.

FKK stands for Frei Korper Kultur (free body culture) which started out as a naturist movement in Germany and evolved into sauna-type brothels. I just returned from London today. I'm hitting Cannes, Nice, St. Tropez and Monte Carlo in a few weeks. I'm not sure if I'm flying in this Romanian girl I met in Paris. If so, hobbying will be out of the question. If not, I may try some of those places you listed. I'm excited to finally hit the French Riviera. Thanks for the information.
