The wake up call never came, but luckily I had two backups to wake me up so I could get to the airport on time. I showered, packed and actually was able to use one of my free breakfast cards this morning. The breakfast was pretty lame though, so I decided on just some orange juice, coffee, eggs and toast.
There was a nicely dressed business woman eating breakfast with her colleagues. I felt underdressed in my shorts and t-shirt, but fuck it. I was leaving anyway and I wanted to be comfortable for the long flight and journey home. I went to go grab my bags and then checked out. The well dressed business woman was checking out as well and had some manuals that said some like “Guide to selling securities.”
The taxi driver that had taken me to Casa Blanca the previous night was there again to take me to the airport. He wanted 500 pesos and I didn’t feel like arguing so I agreed and off we went. He wasn’t exactly sure how to get to the airport though and we took a nice drive through a neighborhood and some farm fields before actually finding the correct turnoff.
The AA line for economy was insane once I got there. I was hoping to check-in at the gate, but they wouldn’t let me into the terminal without a boarding pass. Luckily they starting taking the Miami customers out of order I was able to check-in fairly quickly. I had printed out boarding passes for the other two segments of my journey home online the previous night through the Hodelpa’s downstairs internet terminals.
The next time I fly American I should have my Elite Platinum Status and can use the Business Class check-in. The flight to Miami was a cinch. Customs was also a cinch, except that the customs lady downstairs asked if I had traveled to the Dominican Republic alone and to find a wife. I replied, “No, nothing like that” which was actually the truth. I was not looking for a wife. The plane AA was using to get to JFK from Miami was delayed about an hour. By the time I got into New York, there was just enough time to grab a bite to eat at Sbarro pizza and get through security. By the time I arrived at the gate, it was just about to begin boarding. I was lucky twice in this regard during my trip.
The flight back to San Diego was long and uneventful. I watch music videos and movies on my laptop and actually was able to sleep a little as well. I was considering a run to TJ that evening before driving back to Arizona, but decided I was tired and still a little sick, so I just jammed back on I-8 at about 85.
Rating Destinations
I now have travel stamps from four different countries in my passport. Here is how I would rate them as purely mongering destinations.
1. Thailand
1A. Brazil
2. Argentina
3. Dominican Republic
4. Mexico
Hodelpa Centro Plaza
For a business class hotel, I think this place totally sucked. The bed during my second stay was lumpy and the room facing the street might as well have been outside with all the noise from the street. That doesn’t include the crappy and smaller room I got stuck in my first night there that had a leak and drip somewhere that would have kept me up all night if I hadn’t been so tired. Maid service was ok and even though I left around 8pm one night, the room had been cleaned when I returned. The printer downstairs didn’t have a printer cartridge to print my boarding passes and I had to wait about 20 minutes for the bellboy to find one. Not recommend.
Duque de Wellington
Decent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Termite problem in my room, bad bathroom and a noisy air conditioner. Central location and price cannot be beat though. If I ever go again, I am staying at the Riazor which is much nicer.
Santiago Clubs
All mostly average sessions there. Some stunners could be found at Pasion, but all seemed aloof and not very friendly. Should have done at least one stunner, but was expecting nothing better than a TJ session from those women. I had a good time at Casa Blanca though.
Santo Domingo Massage Parlors
Overall I had the best sex of the trip in Elegant Center and Cisne. I also had a great time at Spa Michelle. I had a decent, horrible and bad session at Monalissa. These places seem hit or miss mostly, but I still had some good massages, BBBJ’s and great, passionate sessions at some of these places. They are a must visit in Santo Domingo.
Santo Domingo Casas
I visited Casa de Modelos and Casa Teresa. No attractive ladies at Casa de Modelos and Casa Teresa seemed like a sterile, methodical place. I received my first CBJ at Casa Teresa.
General and Miscellaneous Thoughts
The people seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. I walked a lot around the Independencia area, even at night and never felt threatened. I don’t know how wise or unwise that was, but I never had any problems. I like Remington Palace a lot. The Vesuvio restaurant was excellent and Seven to Seven was a nice disco to take my date from the Remington Palace.
The taxis and tours are super ignoring. Ignore touts when going to massage parlors and act like you have been there before. You can save money this way. The buses from Caribe Tours are a great and inexpensive way to get around the country. All the horn honking is annoying if you have a hotel room facing the street.
I will probably not be back anytime soon and do not recommend the country as a mongering destination. Perhaps I should have taken the advice of everyone I talked to that said the north was much better than the south. However, I cannot reconcile what I like with what I have read the north offers compared to the south. There seems to be more locations and establishments and a better variety and choice in Santiago and Santo Domingo. The places were just really hit or miss as far as session quality was concerned. I went from a bad TJ session to a session that could rank up there with the best Brazil or Thailand sessions I have had all in one day.
It was a nice little one week trip though and another place I have now visited. I did get a free ticket anywhere American flies out of it and I did get the experience that comes with traveling.
Perhaps if I do go back I will try the north, but I wouldn’t hold my breath until that happens.

Xenono, here's the answer to your question about the toilet seats in the DR. They are not sold with the toilet and only people who have the extra bucks will buy one.
When I was in the Peace Corps there in the early 70s I made sure that the house I rented (actually just a room within the house) had a real flush toilet. Most of the town used outhouses which meant squating over a wooden hole. Worse yet, when you "showered", which meant pouring water over you from a small bucket with a pot, the water would go down the "drain" and stir up the outhouse shit below creating a terrible stink.
So my place had a real indoor toilet and a real shower head. OK, a slight exageration. The shower head was just a hole where the pipe ended but at least it was above my head. Hot water? Get real. The toilet had no seat and I never did see a place with one. Our household was well off so we used real toilet paper. Want to know what the rest of the town used? Haha. I'll give you a hint. What's black and white and read all over.
No one actually used the toilet except during the day. At night everyone, except yours truly, would take a final leak into their plastic bed pans. Since Dominican homes never had walls up to the actual ceiling/roof you could hear the tinkle tinkle everywhere. In the morning the pans would be taken to the bathroom and flushed down the drain. I forget who got to wash the pans and set them out in the backyard to dry. You would see a row of brightly colored plastic pots extending along the fence. The used toilet paper would also be taken out of its can (only retards like me flushed it down the drain) and dumped into the little garbage pile in front of each house to be picked up by the town trash collectors. To this day when Dominicans come to live in the US there is always a learning curve, steep for most of them, concerning things like not tossing your shit papers in the trash can. Part of the learning curve problem is that once they understand where the paper goes they then start flushing everything and anything down the toilets. You can imagine how long it takes until the Rooter Rooter man has to be called.
You mentioned honking car horns. A Dominican makes noise. More so than any other culture I have ever seen. Seriously. These people cannot turn a TV on without blasting you out of the room. Ditto with a stereo. And car horns are honked near continously. When the light turns green EVERYONE honks and really lays it on. No one beeps their horns. It is a long continous blast that will sometimes extend for minutes and minutes.
When I lived there my neighbor would turn his AM radio on full blast the minute he woke up. So did everyone else. Note Tiempo news was given in a loud rapid machine gun style with lots of accompany explosions, whistles, alarms, etc. By noon the juke boxes in the bars would be going. Bars were just someones home which was opened to the street. Like the asshole right on my corner who would keep the music going until 12 or 1 in the morning every damn night. The town proudly had a siren to let people know what time it was so it went off at 7, 12, and 5. The church bells did their noise pollution and the kids who rang them were proud of how long the Priest would let them go before they had to stop. All the jeeps (mini busses) would tear down the streets with non stop horns blarring.
Do you know what they called classical music? Musica de los muertos. Dead people's music. It was played for a few moments at Easter.
The entire concept of silence was and remains unknown to this culture. No joking. You could never sell the recordings of a New Age musician to a Dominican because they would not understand the music. You probably couldn't teach yoga either. Or sell headphones.
A final tale to illustrate all of this. My daughter is sort of living with her aunt and grandmother, both Dominicans. Her cousin showed up, married, and are now also living there. One night, after demanding that the TV be turned down so she could get to sleep (she works) she was awoken with the scream of the smoke detector going off. She ran downstairs and found the new husband in the kitchen frying (Dominicans fry everything) something which put out a cloud of smoke and set off the detector. The guy was totally ignoring the wail of the alarm directly above him. It was just noise to him and these people like noise. True story.

Xenono, It's always good to try other places, but the thing that stops me is that I know they won't be as good as Rio or LOS.Good report as always.

Xen
Mil gracias for a very thorough report. The only missing component would be the pics. You will be posting them at some point, verdad?

TF,
Thanks for the clarification on that.
Billcink,
Even though I won't be going back anytime soon, I still enjoyed the act of going and experiencing. My job situation has changed so that I am not limited to only two or three weeks. If I were, I would probably split my time between Thailand and Brazil with an occasion run to Argentina as well. But since I can travel more now, I can visit various destinations.
Reytj,
Pics have been submitted.

Hi, Xen:
Thanks for the interesting report.
I find it interesting that you rate Argentina higher than Dominican Republic. I have never been to Argentina. However, I will concede that women there are gorgeous and beautiful.
This is my question: Women in Argentina are considered to be very business like and "cold". The GFE is missing. In DR the women may not be as gorgeous, but they are considered to be warm, friendly, sex-loving and provide GFE.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Thanks!

I think overall I had better sessions in Argentina than I did in DR.
Perhaps that is a function of where I stayed (Santiago and Santo Domingo) versus the places most people seem to go (Puerto Plata and Sosua.)
But I had better sessions in Argentina.

I've always thought the DR had lesser quality (looks) girls... here's some (almost) scientific proof:
I've always held Mr. X's tastes among the highest in our community! And I noticed his recent DR chicas are not getting his typical high marks. Note there is the rare 7s with the bulk of 5s and 6s, but with plenty of lower scores also.
Now look back at his Brasil scores. As many 7s and 6s, and very few 4s and lower.
I didn't read the report (I would for entertainment if I had the time) but just looking at the score column (even without looking at the individual shots) kind of reinforces my belief that DR chicas don't match up (regarding looks only, based on a collective opinion vs. any individual) to Brasil or some other countries.

FL.....The other factor to take in is that Brazilian posters/mongers are overzealous about their scores of Brazilian girls. Brazil does have the most beautiful women in the world but I have seen shots where the girls head is cut off or face blacked out and guys are giving them 8's. I have also seen haggard women in their 30's given 8's as well. Example: Taiza. Xen does have good taste but look at his Thailand pics and you will see lower scores as well. His Dominican girls look great, dont let score deter you from going there and finding out yourself.

I tend to agree with Blazers on the bias in the Rio voting. I don't follow the fotos and votes as closely as others, but I have noticed the trend. I'll make a comment here because I have spent significant time in Latin America, including both DR and Brazil.
On average I do not find Dominicanas as attractive as other Latinas. I have a tendency to be attracted to Indias rather than Negras and Domincanas tend to be darker. I mean nothing derogatory in a racial sense, I just have this tendency. With that said two of my top three girls ever are Dominicanas. If you get past the tourist p4p scene and get to know one of these women, they are incredibly passionate.
I don't like to generalize as it's usually a waste of time, but I'll try it here.
For one night - a Brazileira
For a weekend - a Dominicana
For a girl friend - a Colombiana
That ymmv is guaranteed.

Gitano, you left one out. One night, a weekend, a GF, and......... a wife! Or is that not a consideration?

Xenono,
Another great report, I'd like to check out Dominician Republic someday, maybe early next year. I've been to 7 different countries: Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Japan , Tiawan and Thailand and i think Thailand is the greatest place on earth, I'm making my 10th trip in September. Thousand of girls giving you total GFE for $25-$50 all night, i could fuck them 3 or 4 times and it is still $25-$50, gotta love Thailand.
I'm like to check out Angeles City Philipines soon, that place looks great also.
Thanks for sharing
cheers
kj

Kjvegas,
I would add Philippines, Brazil, and Argentina to your list. 4-6 days in Hong Kong and Macau while in transit to the Philippines or Thailand would also be worth it in my opinion.
Glad you liked the report.
