Beauty
Another night, I went back to King’s Corner on my own, to take another shot at “Beauty” #1. She was still distant and not returning my glances, but curiously she kept moving to dance in the area I would move to. As I hung out, it sank in that about 1/3 of the talent were Katoey, then as I looked around more closely I had to add most of the rest. The only ones that for sure were female were rather plain looking. At this point I don’t know if “Beauty” was born a female, but she was perfect looking at the present time. Her petite frame makes me still think she might really be a girl but the Katoey factor caused me to move on. I must say that the Katoeys and their cosmetic surgery do fit the European ideal.

King's Corner is way more than 1/3 kotoey! If your beauty was 5' 7" and " lithe " it is almost certain " she " is katoey. Either pre or post op. Same thing to me. Not ot worry though- I have been to Thailand at least 40 times and still am occasionally fooled by particularly feminine katoey. I once almost brought a gorgeous woman back to my hotel Met her at Tony's disco . She was too good to be true. Turned out she was one of the star's at Alcazar show in Pattaya. Fortunately I found out before we went back to room. I would consider yourself lucky you did not hook up with Beauty. The odds of finding extra equipment too great !

Yeah, the longer I stayed there the more Katoeys I recognized. Beauty was about 5'5" and her bone structure (hands, wrists, ankles and feet) were all delicate, but there were too many negatives to pursue.

There has only been one Katoey that worked at a beerbar in Pattaya, which was obviously a Katoey bar, that could have fooled me. She had absolutely no male features about her! My buddy who had been living there for several months already understood my disbelief but he claimed to have paid her barfine once and verfied she was born a male. Sometimes for the heck of it I've checked out the Asian TV websites, and there are certainly quite a number shown there that are 99% passable until you see their male sex organ. Most katoeys in Thailand try too hard to be overly beautiful, and that's one of the key give aways. The other thing is that they almost always hang out together, so generally one passable will be next to a non-passable, making you confirm your opinion suspicion.
