OK fellas. Time for some updated and accurate information. Anyone that reads my posts knows that Iīm pretty objective. Picky maybe but objective..yes. I have a novel soap opera about my novia from Colombia but Iīll maybe save that for another time. Lesson learned is definitely spend some time with a girl to see if you can get along with her long term. The other lesson learned is that no matter how hot a girl is there is only so much you can talk about if there is an age difference. Iīm a fairly young guy and donīt have too much of an age difference. Iīm not sure how you guys in your 40īs, 50īs and 60īs can seriously expect to have a serious relationship with a girl that is 20 years old. Oh well...to each his own.
I managed to sneak out last night. Firstly, La Rumba is no longer open. It is out of business. Second, the action in the Plaza de Armas is really not much to write home about. For some of you out there and the ĻNibusĻ (no offense intended Nibu) out there it might be ok.
There are two main clubs in town. Both of them arenīt in the touristy section of town. The first is called Noica. It is a 2 Soles fare from the Plaza de Armas. It is small and the music was too loud. There were only about 7 girls and maybe only one was doable. From what I gathered during my short stay there you order a large beer for 20 Soles and a girl will come over and talk to you during which time you can negotiate for services. I was told the girls wonīt come over if you donīt order a drink. Iīm not sure if that is true or not. There is no cover charge. I left before I even ordered a drink.
The other club which Iīm told is the best in town is about a 15 minute taxi ride in an area called San Sebastian if I remember correctly. Itīs Decameron. Make sure you ask the taxi driver before he takes you if he knows where it is. The first taxi driver didnīt know and I had to get out after a few blocks and get a new one. I met a guy handing out flyers in the Plaza de Armas. His name is Moises (Moses). He is a really cool dude and his English is very good. If you speak no Spanish you might want to try hooking up with him. Iīm told he also goes to Machu Picchu with people if they want. He is a good guy to know. His email address is miskyheart@hotmail.com if you want to email him.
I got to Decameron fairly early night at around 11 PM. There were no customers there. I had a few Cusqueņas (local beer) and waited and girls started filtering in. Most were not up to my standards but a few cuties were there. I was surprised when one girl came up to me and starting speaking Portuguese! She was half Brasillian. She wasnīt the hottest girl there but she had a good attitude. There were about 20 girls there by midnight. Beers cost only 10 Soles and chica drinks are around 20 Soles. You arenīt obigated to buy them any but I did.
I was going to talk to a few girls when the Brasilera came over. She wouldnīt stop rubbing me and kissing so I was kind of locked into going with her after I made out with her for a while. She had a pretty face and her body was decent although a little soft. I knew the going rates were around 100 Soles for an hour. First she told me she could get $100 US from some Americans that didnīt know the scene. I laughed and told her Iīm not one of them. She just laughed and she agreed to the 100 Soles (3.45 to $1 US).
We got back to my hotel and I had no problems bringing her in. Shit...she was really affectionate. She kept telling me she digged me. Anyway, I snapped some photos but I probably wonīt post them. Iīm finding that guys around the world go to a place I post on and tell the girl I posted her picture which makes it difficult for me when I go back so there is no upside to me. She was 18 years old and had one kid. We went hard and heavy and after 2 hours she still was there. I told her that she had to leave as I didnīt want my Columbian girl to find out. Anyway, she fake falls asleep and wonīt move. I tell her she has to leave.
I will warn you guys to be careful in Peru. Iīm not sure if itīs me or everyone but both girls I sessioned with (including the one in Lima at the high end club) didnīt bring a condom and told me I didnīt have to use one if I didnīt want to. Like I said...be careful...sometimes we can get carried away and I admit Iīm an idiot when it comes to this sometimes.
Cuzco is a very quaint town. I still plan to move somewhere in the near future for 1 to 2 years to study Spanish and this might be a good choice. I was told you can buy a decent apartment here for $10,000 US. Does anyone have any information on this?
Iīm headed back to Lima this afternoon. More later.

Question. You mentioned several times in your Peru reports about ditching your Colombia novia so as to score some outside fun. Where was the novia while this was happening? Back at your regular hotel watching novelas? And what did she ask you when you returned?
GF, good reports as always. I was surprised about your positive comments on Lima being a beautiful city. I had never read that before and was under the impression that the city was best passed through as quickly as possible. Thanks for showing another side.
Regarding having a relationship with a foreign 20 y/o old when you are much older, say in your late 40s or 50s, I always figured it was much easier when neither of you spoke a common language. You could both assume things that weren't really there.

TightFit,
I got two rooms from the beginning of the trip. One for me and one for her and her brother to share. I figured when we messed around she would come to my room. We messed around a few times before I broke up. It was a difficult situation and I know Iīm at fault. Still, I wanted to be honest and not string her along. At night I would go out and bring girls back to my room. Last night was almost a problem! Read my latest Lima report.
Funny about you comment on the age difference. Hey, Iīm NOT saying one canīt work out with an age difference. However, anyone dating a 20 year old with a significant age difference is fooling himself if he thinks he can make it work LONG TERM. There is a huge difference between a 20 year old and a 27+ year old.
Regarding Lima. You are 100% correct. I assumed it was ugly and just a city to pass by too. Thatīs why I originally only planned 3 days. I extended my trip to explore the city more. Donīt get me wrong. Many parts of it are dirty and ugly but if you are in Miraflores and San Isidro you will find it quite nice. Definitely take the city tour of the historic area. Iīll probably hit a few museums and Iīm told there are decent beaches about 45 minutes from here. I might take some surf lessons as there are plenty of surfers on the ocean that I saw.
Anyone planning on coming to Peru shouldnīt cheap themselves. Plan at least several days. The high end girl action isnīt cheap though. The nie restaurants arenīt cheap either. Iīm damn glad I came to Peru. The country is beautiful!

Probably the majority of you don't care about non-chica pictures but I've had many guys tell me they enjoy the other side of traveling too. Machu Picchu was very mysterious and I really enjoyed it. Enjoy these pictures I took there.

I've enjoyed reading your trip reports on Peru and the photos. Thanks for sharing!
I've been thinking about visiting Cuzco, Peru and Ecuador. The only thing holding me back is the high altitude for Quito and Cuzco.
It looks like you didn't get any altitude sickness or did you take medication?
Again, thanks for sharing!

Hi Yujin,
I also worried about the high elevation. There is medication you can take for altitude sickness but I HATE taking any prescription medicine if I can help it. Cuzco is at a very high altitude. The day after I arrived I had a bad headache. I took some aspirin and drank some of that tea and it seemed to help.
I say just do it. It was a rewarding experience and another dream trip fulfilled for me. I met a girl from Ecuador in Lima and she was smoking hot. It gives me a desire to check out Ecuador and she told me her country is beautiful along the coast. Thanks and good luck.

Love the pictures. Several of them are the same classic shot seen in every travel book. It must have felt pretty good actually being there in real life.
I can remember years ago reading about a land trip from Lima to Cuzco that involved taking some train up into the Andes. The book said that they carried oxigen tanks for anyone who became ill.

Yep. The same shots seen in every guidebook. It was GREAT that I was there when there was good weather. Just a week before my trip there was tremendous downpours and severe flooding. In fact, the train tracks were washed away near the train station and we had to walk about 7 minutes the last stretch. You can really see how powerful the flow of water was coming down from the hills. Several tourists had to be airlifted out of Aguas Calientes.
I seem to have pretty good luck with weather while traveling. It DID feel great to be on top of that hill. Seeing something in a magazine or book isn't quite the same as living it. Kind of like looking at a model hot girl in Playboy and being in the same bed as her..ha, ha.
The train ride was beautiful from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes. I wish I took some photos but didn't. I recommend the Vistadome train as it's MUCH nicer than the other one. Also, I really liked Cuzco. There are several ruins around Cuzco that are interesting. I took a tour of a bunch of them. You buy this pass that is good for 10 sites. It is $10 US and it's good for a week. I took a lot of photos but still haven't looked at all of them.

"The other lesson learned is that no matter how hot a girl is there is only so much you can talk about if there is an age difference."
Who said anything about talking? Who gives a rat ass about what anybody else does. If an 80 year old wants to have a go with an 18 year old, who cares. One thing i learned from living in thailand is do what you want. I for one don't care about your opinions on what others do when it comes to making them selves happy. Thats a crap way to start out a report.
