BJ Bars-
Over the course of my time there, I did sample all 3 of the blowjob bars at Patpong. 500b to bust a nut. Kangaroo club and Star of Love are fairly small and have a little room in the back to do business. Star of Light has the little room but also has 4 seats at the bar with curtains that cover your lap. One morning I was there early, and the girl just did me on one of the two couches opposite the bar. It was interesting getting a blowjob while having a drink and chatting with the other 2 girls sitting in the bar. Kind of like the Unicorn but with younger women.

Well that’s my trip report. In summary I would say Bangkok is worth a visit at least once. The quality of the service and the unhurried nature of the long time is what has “spoiled” me, just like everyone else. I would just recommend that one spends at least 2 weeks there, longer if you can afford it. The jet lag can be hell.
Now how do I get back to BKK?

Re: getting back to Bangkok, just frickin' move? I met a friend in TJ one night last fall and he said he was only in town for long enough to sell all his shit and move to Cambodia. Of course he had to hit the Zona while he was there... ADDICTS!!!

Concerning jet lag, I took the advice of a Vietnamese just before I left who had just come back from visiting his country. His advice worked and this what he advised. When you get back, force yourself to stay awake until your normal sleep time here, then awake. Surprisingly it did work. Before I'd come back and crash in the afternoon, waking up at 3am or so and it was really hard to break that habit for about two weeks. Also, I'd suggest keeping your blinds open before bedtime so that the sunlight begins to reset your internal clock in the morning. I've never ever suffered jet lag going westward, only eastward.

Kangaroo's ST room, the one with a smallish bed, is more like a closet type of room, with mops, brooms, shelfs, etc. in there, not particularly cozy.

Ten years ago when I first went there, there was another ST room with a bed, now where the TV lounge is located, which is now used as a private BJ area (no bed).

Just to be a bit more specific, the TV lounge is bigger now than before because the ST room was taking up some of the space.

Just for comparison, if you head down to Pattaya to the Love U2 Bar, fomerly known as the Fuck U2 Bar, the ST rooms are nicely set up: mirrors, shower, A/C, etc.

Bingo, when were you at the Fuck U2 Bar last? I was there in Feb and they had the ST rooms blocked off after they were raided and hassled by the police in January. The police had been coming down hard on all the ST places around the Soi 6 area.

Last year I had some great experiences in there. It was the first bar I ever went to where the girls girls dove into my pants and started blowing me while I was sitting in the bar area having a beer. That made quite an impression, I can tell you. I tried the ST rooms a couple of times and they were pretty good. Last Feb I wanted to relive some of those memories but the place was mighty tame. Without the no-holds-barred attitude there was nothing to distinguish the place from any of the other small bars in the area.

I was there a year ago, May 2001, and I saw a guy getting blown in the bar near the door....wonder if it was you. Too bad those ST rooms got closed, they were cool. Did you meet Gin or Pom? Geez, those girls had skills!

FYI- the Fuck U2 bar is either closed or has changed its name. Many of the Bars that had interesting names i.e. anything with Pussy ect... have changed names with the new crack down on morality.
