Didn’t have a flight until 6pm so I decided to do some sightseeing and get to know this odd city. Ben picked me up at about 10 am as my girl was long gone by 6am(had to get back to her Khmer boyfriend or something). I was underdressed for local temples so I just went to the temple grounds of Wat Phnom and others and took some pics. Later we went to the lake where all the backpackers stay and had lunch. The food there is pretty good and very cheap. Most beers were in the $1 range or less. Almost all of the restaurants had attached guesthouses and were built on wooden platforms on the water. The lake is kind of a sad sight and looks like it’s suffered from continual dumping from a country that could care less about environmental standards.

Took a trip down the frontage road by the river and the buildings there were quite nice with French Architecture. On this road is the Happy Herb Pizza which still serves pizza with ganja as one of the toppings.






Spent about an hour at the torture museum and watched a film about the suffering under Pol Pot. It put things into perspective for me and reminded me that Cambodians were sweet and compassionate people but they also have an evil, corrupt dark side that was exposed during this period of torture and genocide. It was extremely sad seeing the pics of the victims and especially sad seeing the mass amounts of children killed under the hands of cold-hearted demons.

I decided to take my mind of things of such a serious nature by having Mr. Wee take me to some of the daytime places other than K11. We went to a place called the “Come On Guesthouse”. This place is new and I would have never found it were it not for my handy driver who knew every place in town and didn’t take commission. The place has parking inside for your driver. You sit down in a foyer with several couches and the mamasan or papasan will bring over about 6-8 girls. I was there at different times but it was open for business at 1pm with two very cute Khmer girls. The rooms are pretty small but have a good sized bed. The shower had cold water and was right above the toilet. The girl had huge tits and gave me a great BBBJ and let me finish in between her tits. The funny thing was that this girl spoke zero English but wanted to cuddle at the end and gave me some sniff kisses and was trying to get me to go another round but was flashing five digits to let me know I could have another round for $5. I was pretty exhausted and the Cialis was starting to wear out so I passed but did give her a $1 tip which she appreciated and gave me a big hug and kissed me all over my face and neck. Guess nobody tips at these brothels.

I wanted to get to the airport by 4pm as my flight was leaving at 6. The airport is about 15 minutes out of town. When Ben dropped me off, he shook my hand and told me that he hopes that I come back to Cambodia and that he was happy to meet me. I really felt as though I was saying goodbye to a friend that I may never see again. I felt a little choked up and wished that I had made my trip a little longer. The airport inside looks brand new. I was surprised that the airport was so modern. The one big fuckin’ ripoff about this place is that you are required to pay a $25 departure tax which has to be the most expensive in the world. Between the visa and departure tax, you are paying an extra $45 on to your trip, not including airfare. If I had to do it again, I would stay there at least 5 days to make the trip worth your while. Inside the departure area, there are a couple of gates. There are a couple of duty free stores offering extremely overpriced souvenirs and there is a coffee shop. The one thing that really bothered me about Cambodia was that I was forced to use American dollars. In the end, rounding up priced to the nearest dollar increases your costs tremendously.

The flight was a short hour and I was off to retrieve my luggage at baggage claim after a quick run through immigration. Exchanged some money to local currency and took a taxi directly to Grand President Hotel. Once I arrived, they had lost my reservation I made online but luckily had some rooms available in the older wing. The rooms were 2,000 baht a night and were very nice. I think I will probably stay here exclusively from now on. I know the price is double that of Dynasty Inn but the rooms are great. The rooms are quite large and have a small kitchen area and a large bathtub. The closets are big and there is an in-room safe. The rooms were spotless and came with a welcome fruit and flower basket. The bed was huge and comfortable. The best thing about the rooms is that they come with a stereo with mounted speakers on the wall. The sound was pretty good and I hate having to lug my walkman and amplified speakers everywhere I go. Cleaned myself up and was out the door to NEP. I arrived about 9pm and really noticed a drop in hottie attendance. I was at Pattaya about 10 days prior and there were 10 times as many hot girls as there were in NEP. The biggest surprise to me was that Rainbow III or HollywoodIII(cant remember) was up on the top floor and had a lot of cute girls.

Decided to make a trip to Obsessions to see some of the Katoeys and sat and had a drink with a “girl” named Chompoo who was the most striking ladyboy I had ever seen. If it weren’t for the fact that she was a pre-op, I would have gotten a BJ no problem. She is all over the internet and has one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen. Not even Epi could tell this one was a Katoey...no way. Better than any Thai girl in the bars. Very fuckin’ scary.

Ended up barfining a girl from Mandarin that I had talked to before. She ended up giving great head and swallowed(a rarity for Thai girls).....these Mandarin girls are strictly short-timers.....I told her I was going to fuck her one more time and she said 2,500 baht and I then went to my wallet to grab 1,500 baht and told her she could leave. She started yelling in Thai and calling me cheap and I yelled at her in Thai back and called her jai ngen(money heart). Decided to call it a night so I could get up early for Chatuchuk Market the next day.....

You got the $20 USD visa, the $25 USD departure tax, and you forgot to mention the $12 USD departure tax from BKK...So that really makes $57 USD to tack on to the price of the ticket when you fly from Thailand to Cambodia.

Just out of curiousity - do you remember the number of the Mandarin girl that gave you the problems? Wonder if it's someone I know. I LT girls from this bar all the time and NEVER have them give me shit when I give them 2000B for LT. That was a first for me in Mandarin as well..I usually get great service there..even with the uberhotties. I dont remember this girls name, I almost never do in Thailand..but I guarantee you it was one syllable. The only way to describe her is that she is about 5'5", shoulder length hair, b-cup, no kids and looks very much like a luek kreung(half and half)...very pretty girl. Doesn't look very Thai. I figured you would miss Pattaya FAR more then the PI. Pattaya has ladies you can communicate easier with, FAR more hotties, insane selection and little to no drama (when compared to the PI). I still find it funny that so many people have trouble in the PI. I find that location to be drama-free for me. Granted, I do have "friends" there (as you do), but they are in province, not making trouble for me in town. Also, they are very accepting of my butterfly nature. My biggest hurdle with AC is overcoming boredom after fucking for a few days straight because there's NOTHING to do other then fuck and barhop!! You can eat marginal, greasy food and dodge fake cherry girls with bad English...

The advantage of Thailand is there are other things to do then ONLY listen to bad English and eat. I can choose to spend time alone, with friends, or with a girl that understands the basics of feminine hygiene. When in AC, I can barhop, fuck... did I mention barhop? In Thailand the malls are actual, real, honest-to-God malls and karaoke is NOT something you subject EVERYONE within a 1km radius to. Whoops - almost forgot to mention GREAT food and cheap foot/Thai massage!! I know this isn't the biggest draw for you, but for ME, massage is a BIG selling point!! Compare quality of girls, BJs, massage, food and other entertainments - yeah Thailand costs more, but offers more too.
