I picked up my ticket to Guatemala City for $288.50 on an American Airlines Netsaver Weekend Fare. The trip would give me 5 nights, arriving around 9pm on a Wednesday night and departing at 9 in the morning the following Tuesday. It was a brief trip, but an enjoyable and productive one.
Unfortunately, from my personal experience I cannot rank the service standards of Guatemala City very highly. While I had an enjoyable time with some beautiful ladies, I found most of them to be less passionate on average than ladies I've experienced in other parts of the Americas and the Caribbean, including Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Panama.
Armed with a Lonely Planet Guidebook and notes from a few other reporters, particularly Excat's report (Guatemala City: Summer 2000 List), I was able to cover a lot of ground during my short trip. I stayed in or visited 5 hotels and gathered information on 20 clubs. On top of that I squeezed in a visit to the town of Antigua, a botanical garden, and a visit to two museums. I had hoped to visit the zoo and a park as well, but ended up running out of time. I'll have to check them out on the next trip.
