PANAMA

There are so many good reports on Panama on this site that I thought I’d just provide some updates for you all. I spent 2 days in Panama, primarily to see the Canal and to do the tourist thing. This was certainly not enough time to check out all the venues, and many of them were closed during the day of the election (Sunday).

Although I didn’t plan it, I was in Panama during the weekend of their Presidential election. A really raucous affair with a fervor that swept the entire country. They really take their elections here very seriously and it was extremely interesting to see the festive mood of the people, the foreign election monitors, and banners and posters everywhere. I liken their elections to being at a Raiders football game, with rowdy groups of guys with painted faces and all. Interestingly, I was sitting at a rally observing the rowdiness and minding my own business, when all of a sudden people started running everywhere like in the movies. Before I knew it, you see cops with batons a whirling and running towards me. I made a beeline for a nearby shop and saw pandamonium ensue for about 20 minutes. Damn, my curiosity almost got the best of me. Moral of the story, avoid Latin American countries during elections!

If you haven’t seen the Panama Canal, I would recommend you go see it. It’s truly one of the great, modern, man-made marvels and is a genuine awe-inspiring engineering feat.

After spending about 4 days in run down Cali, stopping off in Panama was a special treat. It’s very safe from what I gather and the infrastructure is very nice and modern, some nice roads and buildings and shopping centers. There are lots of Vegas Style casinos around. The long influence of the USA has made Panama one of the nicer, richer Latin American countries. Panama also uses the U.S. dollar as its currency and many people spoke English and there were plenty of tourists and visitors around from all over.

As for the p4p scene, because of the relatively nicer infrastructure and better economy, the prices for p4p in Panama is relatively expensive. Most call girls and the high end escorts averaged $100.00 or more. I visited several massage places, but the quality was extremely low. These lower end massages included Acuarius, Oriental Massage (same area), Royal Elegance. One of the better massages, as other people have noted is, Golden Time, which is located in a nice mall. They had some real stunners there (about 5 lookers out of about 20 gals). As other reports have noted, be sure to take your pen and paper to jot down the names of the girls. I almost got stuck with the wrong girl b/c I called out the wrong name (hehe), couldn't jot the names down fast enough. Golden Time was about $94.00 for the girl in house.

The average cost of the lower end massages was between $50-$80, depending on where you go. But again, the talent was so-so. Some places I didn’t even consider going such as a place called Elite II, which is suppose to cost upwards of several hundred dollars. Forget that.

In summary, the p4p scene in Panama is not IMO worth the effort and expenses, go there to relax, fish or visit the Canal. Moreover, most of the hotter looking girls were imported Colombianas anyways, so why not go directly to the source for a fraction of the costs.
