2004/05 Patchadams - My First Trip To Rio
THE DAY IT WAS DECIDED FOR ME TO GO TO RIO
April 20th was the day when it all began. A friend and I were talking about a trip to BKK and basically going back and forth of going there with the SARS issue at hand when, as if a ray of sunshine piercing through a clouded sky, my friend brought up South America. We have often contemplated going to different countries for our chosen hobby but frankly haven’t had the balls to act on it and stuck to what we know best, Thailand.
After agreeing on a location, Rio, we decided to check out some airline tickets prices on different internet travel sites. It was on Yahoo travel that we located our tickets and couldn’t really say “no.” The return ticket from Los Angeles to Rio via Miami on the 15th of May till the 21st of May was at an insane price of $297 plus $100 of bullshit fees. We had to act on it and fast so we bought the tickets right although we had no idea of mongering costs in Rio, no clue of where to go or where to stay.
Luckily my friend had an account World Sex Archives so the research was on full throttle. We had 25 days to gather as much info as possible and I must say that Bwana_diks guide was very helpful. Thank you BD.
So after much research, we had a few things that we had to do. Not necessarily in the order listed.
- Visit some Termas
- Go to Help disco
- Check out the scene in Mei Pataca
- Call in an Escort
- Check out Christo (probably shouldn’t add this in the middle of the list)
- Visit the Hooker beach opposite MP
- Check out some Brazilian eats.
- Do a lot of fucking.
After reading about the pros and cons of apartments vs. hotels, we decided to go for a two bedroom apartment. I emailed some of the agents in Rio for an apartment; David Schnieder at (www.gringomanagement .com) emailed me back within a couple of minutes of my initial email so I thought that was a good sign. We rented a nice no view apartment a block from the beach and about 4 blocks from Help for $80 a night. It was a nice apartment but the one bathroom kinda bothered me at first but we got used to it. I would definitely advise on renting an apartment, there are less prying eyes.
THE DAY OF THE FLIGHT
Our flight departed from LAX at 10:30 am on a weekday, luckily there weren’t too much traffic getting to the airport. My ex-wife of all people dropped us off at the airport and before I could say bunda, we were off to Miami. At the Miami airport, we met a couple of guys from the east coast that were headed to Rio as well and we started up exchanging info on where to go and what to avoid (VM). They have been there before so it was nice to get real info from them. We continued our conversation on the plane and man it was funny, it was like there was a mongering convention in Rio because at least half of the plane was full of swinging dicks talking about what termas and what scort agencies to try. Off to Rio……….
FIRST DAY IN RIO
We arrived in the morning and after a bit of waiting and getting our luggage, we were greeted by Bruno the driver from gringo. On the drive back to the apartment, I was expecting pussy everywhere but I guess the girls don’t get up that early in the morning (9:30 am)

So Monica arrives at the apartment in the evening and the three of us head out to Help disco. We got there a little early so decided to kill about an hour or so, so we headed to MP. We decided to go to a casino that Monica recommended and on the way there, we a saw a mugging(see post in Brazil section) after a little while in the casino we went back to MP and I met Danealla/Perrola, sorry I don’t have her pic. FINAL DAY IN RIO
Our flight was due to leave at around 7pm for Miami so we had to get our last day mongering done quick. After my disappointment with Katherine and not finding any hotties in MP, we decided to go to Rio Antigo by the suggestion of our friend’s guide that was hanging out in MP, he arranged a private car for us and off we went. We were a bit concerned with the time restraints that we had but couldn’t leave unfucked on the last day in Rio.
Rio Antigo was an awesome place, although I have minimal experience in termas, it seemed to be one of the nicest ones in Rio. We were lead to the usual locker room by a girl that had an awesome ass and a baby face where we changed into robes, took showers and went to the night club. Total cost of the trip if anyone wants to know was around 1600 dollars. I didn’t pinch pennies and had a blast, did everything I wanted to do and ate at a couple of fancy restaurants that I forgot to mention above. Did some shopping for friends and myself included in the $1600.

Patch, very nice reporting. I think you did very well for yourself. Probably your experience in Thailand paid off for you here.
Am interested in your comparison of Thailand and Rio. Also, would you come back to Rio? and if so, what would you do differently?

I had an awesome time and I am planning on returning to Rio in August for a week. Thailand experience absolutely helped me. I didnt ask for anything from the girls, I expected it and it turned out great (Bruna was the exception)
Comparing LOS to Rio is very difficult for me, its like comparing a Ferrari to a Lambo, both are sports cars but Lambo got that wild streak, IMHO. I did everything that I had planned on doing. What I would do differently is to visit termas a bit more and perhaps take my time in picking out better looking garotas. On my first visit, I was like a kid in a candy store, everything looked good.
