I checked Cathay’s prices to both BKK and MNL. BKK from HK was $341, MNL was $328. One other factor involved was Wallstreet. Wallstreet had originally said he was going to be in HK in May. When I emailed to ask if our days overlapped, he said he had decided to spend all of his time in BKK and bypass visiting HK.
So this was my plan. I had been in HK for three days so far. I was going to stay three more days and then do one day in Macau. Then I decided to head to BKK for five days and then back to HK.
