Hi fellas. I arrived to my favorite city in the world yesterday morning. Itīs as beautiful as I remembered it. I havenīt been here since September. Damn I love this city. A few things. Prices have definitely crept up at the clubs. Also, prices have gone up for leasing apartments long term. Iīd say prices are up a good 25% - 30% from a year and a half ago. Even commercial property leases are way up. We just signed a lease on a new office near Recoleta and prices are almost double. Ouch.

I put an offer on a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment a few short blocks from Jacksonīs old apartment on Junin. I hope they accept it because Iīm tired of looking at apartments. I looked at like 10 of them already.

On to the good stuff. My buddy, TBD, and I went to Madahos last night. At 11:30 PM there wasnīt much talent but by 12:30 AM it was jam packed. Some were really hot. TBD hooked up with a hot Paraguayan chick. She stood firm at 300 pesos so all I could do was negotiate for more time for him. Something like 2 hours. He said she was one of the best sessions of his life so I was happy for him. She wouldnīt budge on the price which was surprising but she was one of the hotter girls in there before midnight. Prices are steep at 50 pesos for the girls. At least itīs only a one drink minimum to pull them out.

I wasnīt going to see anyone because I already went to 1707 Santa Fe and had a session earlier that night. The talent was not too good but there was a few decent girls. First time I sessioned there since my buddy was waiting downstairs. I didnīt want to pull a girl out of Madahoīs but I saw an old friend and she wouldnīt let me leave alone. I finally left with her and didnīt regret my decision. Another hot session.

Iīm excited to live down here but I doubt if Iīll be hitting the clubs too much once I move down here. Iīm here another week then heading to Chile with my novia.

We hooked up with a dude I met in Rio at a terma last year. He is a pretty mellow guy. He just called so weīre gonna go to dinner together then hit the clubs. This will be my last vacation for a while. I guess living here will sort of be like a vacation.

Yo amigos. Iīm really tired today. We went to a bunch of clubs last night and most of them sucked. We went to dinner in Puerto Madero at Puero Cristal which is always good. Then we hit a few downtown clubs. Ness, Hookīs, Cattos, Cuttysark. They all pretty much sucked. There might have been one or two cuties but some of them were scarey. We also hit Salome. There were two cute girls but I just wanted to show my buddy and the Rio guy the different clubs. Finally we went to Madahoīs by 12:30 AM. It was hopping. I was so dead I didnīt think Iīd pull a girl out but of course some girl I was talking to was rubbing against me and I left with her. My buddy T.B.D. left with her amiga. Both were from Buenos Aires. We both had great sessions.

This morning I woke up and took my Spanish test to see which level Iīd be in. The test was damn difficult so they will probably place me in some pre-intermediate course. Oh well. Iīll have time. Iīm in the middle of trying to get a one year student visa so Iīll post how the process is and how it goes. So far, so good. I think with a one year student visa Iīm told I can get a residency ID.

I might just rest today. I hope I the accept my offer on the one year lease. Dick Head also PMīed me so hopefully I can hook up and meet him before I leave to Chile.

The weather is brisk but not too cold in the low 50īs during the day. The exchange rate at the casa de cambios is 2.92.

Donīt have a lot of time to post. Saturday nights are a LOT slower than the last few times Iīve been to BA. Madahoīs was DEAD last night. My buddy TBD and Starfe pulled out two girls. I didnīt want to repeat and didnīt see anything good so I went to Black for the first time in a long time. Damn. It still has the hottest girls in BA bar none. No doubt about it. Itīs 25 pesos to enter which includes your first drink. Chica drinks are from 40 to 80 pesos and you must buy one drink to pull them out. There were about 45 girls in there last night. Maybe 50. Several 8īs and a few 9īs. Many girls from Brazil and other countries. I had this spinner from Paraguay dancing in front of me and wouldnīt let me leave without her.

She asked for $300 US and then I laughed and told her I live here. I told her, Ļbuenas suerteĻ and that I didnīt want to waste her time. She came back with 400 pesos. I told her 300 pesos is the maximum I could go. She quickly agreed. You MUST stand your ground here or you will be thought of as another stupid gringo. Even 300 pesos is expensive but this is the most expensive club in town so 300 pesos is probably not too bad of a deal.

She was great. Before leaving I saw this HOT Brazilian girl that I wanted to pull. My girl knew her so before she left I gave her my hotel business card with my room number. I hope she gives it to her. She was cool about it.

I know some of you think itīs insane to pay these kind of rates in South America but BA for the hottest girls really never was cheap in the high end clubs. Anyway, I had a great time. Like I said...once I live here my club days are really going to be numbered.

Today weīre going to take it easy. Itīs beautiful out. My buddy, Starfe, has been seeing Area VIP girls but it has been super tough to get a hold of them. Yesterday he said that he was about ready to give up.

Today the weather was beautiful out. Starfe and I walked around San Telmo and ate there. What a great area with terrific restaurants that are cheap. I highly recommend it. Just ask a taxi to take you to the 900 block of Defensa.

Iīm just checking emails quickly before going out to eat with koofoo from the CH board. Weīve emailed a few times and he seems like a really cool guy. Since we are both going to be living down here it will be nice to make a new friend.

My buddy TBD and I arenīt expecting much since itīs Sunday but weīre heading to Black after dinner. Hopefully there is some fun to be had. Damn I love this city.

GF, I'm glad to hear you are doing well and loving BA. How do you cope with the temptations? It would be akin to me (gambler) living in Vegas or something.

Anyway, BA is on my radar now, especially considering that a well travelled guy like you has good things to say about BA. If only I can kick this latest Asian gal infatuation, I'll be be sure to you a holler if I'm down there.

Godfather, it's always a pleasure reading your posts. Similar to myself, I really appreciate reading 'what else' you do on your trips, rather than simply mongering - not that there's anything wrong with 'simply mongering'!

I hope that you have a blast in BsAs. I'm likely headed out there early next year, and, perhaps, we could grab a meal together or something. I'm really looking forward to taking in all that Buenos Aires has to offer! After having been to Peru and Costa Rica last year, I know that things will only on my next trip; I'm already having such a blast planning for my 1 month in Brasil and Argentina.

Another gorgeous day today. The weather is perfect and I donīt even need a jacket today. Last night we met up with Koofoo who is a really cool laid back younger dude. We went to a hip restaurant near his pad in Palermo. We got along great and had a lot of laughs. We went to Black after dinner and the talent wasnīt too good as expected for a Sunday. We hung out a while then I left to check out the scene at Madahoīs.

My buddy TBD wanted to see if this blondie girl was at Madahoīs and she was so I called him and he came over with KooFoo. Madahoīs was dead too. We hung out a while and TBD left with the blondie. I hung out with KF and then I was surprised later when my other friend Starfe stumbled in at 2:30 AM after he had sessioned with a girl.

I told him that we should go back to Black to try one last ditch effort. It was about 2:30 AM on a Sunday. There were still a lot of girls left. None were steller but worth taking. I helped him negotiate 250 pesos for 1.5 hours with a pretty girl with a great body that had a good attitude. Then I was surprised to see a girl that I picked up 2 years ago when she worked at Playwoman. 300 pesos for her and we shared a taxi back to our hotel.

Today I am signing the contract on my apartment so I feel good about that. Weīll just take it easy today and hit the clubs again tonight. Why mess with a good thing. More later.

Iīm exhausted today and kind of hit the wall. I had another really late night with the fellas. We went out to dinner in Puerto Madero at a fancy restaurant then went for some coffee and then hit Madahoīs. I was lusting after this girl the past few days with a gorgeous face and good body. I finally went after her last night. Probably has the hottest face in Madahoīs. She was really affectionate but she must have just come off her period or something. She had a really bad odor. The first time out of hundreds of girls in South America that I came across this problem. I just wanted to get her out of the apartment after that. I doubt this is a frequent occurence with her. She told me she makes on average 10,000 pesos a month! She did get pulled out every night we were in there. Very sweet girl but I like really clean girls so I wonīt repeat.

Starfe picked up one of TBDīs old girls and TBD picked up one of my old girls. Musical chairs. Iīve been super busy doing work stuff today with my office. Apologies to guys that might have called me wanting to hook up. Just not a long enough trip this time. I leave for Santiago in the morning. Weīre hooking up with Andres tonight.

Itīs always nice to meet up with him. Heīs a good dude and I always try to meet up when we are both in town at the same town. Too bad he is moving out of BA when Iīm moving in.

Weīll probably just hit the Recoleta clubs again. My buddies donīt really care about the cost in Recoleta and like the quality so itīs been fun hanging out with them. I might just hang with them in the clubs. Iīve done all the girls on my wish list.

Well, at first your posts made me think maybe Bs As was making a mini-recovery (after our May/03 dissapointment). But GF, these girls aren't that hot, especially with your/our tastes.

I love Bs As as a city, and I'm looking forward to a visit if they get some better snow falls this year, but I'm not expecting much in the way of the hobby.

Yeah. Like I posted. These weren't the hottest girls of the trip or even of the club. One girl from Blacks I really didn't want to leave with but she just kept dancing in front of me and flirting and I knew she would be good in bed which she was. There were hotter girls in the clubs. I really wasn't too motivated this trip as I had so many other things to do. I went out at night with my friends and just kind of went with the flow.

As I get closer to moving down there I'm sure I'll hobby less and less. We'll see how it goes.

Godfather I understand they have tenant contols that are very skewed towards the tenants. This makes it difficult to rent apts. in Argentina for foreigners as you normally need a guarantor for the rent etc. What was your experince in this respect?

Yes, you need to prepay the ENTIRE lease upfront. I had to do that on all four of my apartments I've leased over the years. I just bought 2 apartments and of course now I can guarantee up to 2 rentals with my owned properties so that's cool.

Godfather, got some questions here for you. Since you are buying property in Buenos Aires I assume that foreigners are permitted to do so unlike in some countries. Are you the outright owner or do you have to have a native born partner? What about the process of guaranting title? I understand that is extremely difficult in Brazil. What status are you taking now in BA? Are you on a tourist visa or are you working for a residency visa? Are these properties that you are buying being financed in any way and, if so, how do mortagages work in Argentina. If you bought them outright how did you arrange for the funds to be sent to Argentina? Someone posted a very detailed list of what identification papers were needed in Brazil in order to do just about anything. Is it easier in Argentina?

Sorry, but I just have to disagree with the comment that the girl in the first 2 pictures (01 & 02) isn't that great. Maybe I'm revealing something about myself (as a younger man) here, but she looks like a girl I would have been too shy to ask out before I grew up (if I ever did)--cute, and looks like she is a nice person too--that is, friendly, etc. Too bad she doesn't work in a bar near me!
