After my 2 ˝ hours of sleep I awoke and the aircraft was deplaning. As soon as I made my way out of the airplane and onto the jet way I could feel that warm, hot and humid sensation of the polluted Bangkok air. The Hong Kong humidity and heat was bad. The Bangkok humidity and heat was far worse.
After a brief trip through immigration I made my way downstairs and to the taxi stand. I decided to bypass going upstairs and trying to flag down a taxi at departures and just paid the fare. I knew these taxis were little or no hassle. You paid whatever the meter said plus the expressway fare and I think a 50 baht airport surcharge.
I would have liked to stay at the Grand President again and Asiatravel.com had some decent specials at something like $50 US per night. But I decided to just go with something simple since I was only going to be in town a few days. I went online to http://www.dynastyinn.com/ to make a reservation. I also requested the rooms in the back based on Epi’s (I think) recommendation in the Dynasty Inn thread.
As I was making my way into town on the expressway I could feel the excitement building inside of me. I had a list of new massage parlors I wanted to check out and it had been almost two years since my last trip to Thailand. I still have very fond memories of the place as it was my first and second ever international trips. I’ve visited a few more places since then, but I still call Thailand “home.”
Traffic into town was light in the early afternoon and the worst part was going down Soi Nana Nua (3) to get to Sukhumvit Soi 4. Dynasty had my reservation, but didn’t have any rooms available in the back so I settled for one up front on the second floor. Oh well. No views of the city for me.

After getting settled in at Dynasty I called Wallstreet who was staying at the President Solitaire. Neither of us had plans for the day and I asked if I could come over and see his suite at the PS. I hadn’t seen the hotel yet and was curious because of all the rave reviews about it here. I had a general idea of where it was located and knew the Soi 11 area quite well. He gave me directions from the Grand President and I was off.
I grabbed a taxi driving by the Dynasty on Soi 4 and told him Sukhumvit Soi 11. I realized once we started heading south from Sukhumvit that I had made a classic newbie mistake. I guess I needed some time to get my “Thailand Feet” back. I could have saved myself about a half hour of sitting in traffic and making a big square west, then south, then east, then north on Asoke and then west again on Sukhumvit to get to Soi 11 if I had only crossed Sukhumvit and caught a taxi going east. I knew this from experience, but just completely forgot and didn’t want to spend any time walking around outside since it was so damn hot.
So about 35 minutes later, we finally pulled up to the President Solitaire. Wallstreet greeted me at his door and we chatted for a while. He also showed me around the suite at PS and I was very impressed. The Jacuzzi was a nice touch. PS runs a little bit more than I like to pay for a room though. I think PS is around $80-$90 per night and I usually like to stay around $25-$60 if I can.
Before I made this trip out to Thailand a fellow Hombre a few months back had posted a link to the http://www.ilikemassage.com/ website. There were some massage parlors listed on that site that I hadn’t heard about or visited when I did my previous two Thailand trips, so I suggested to Wallstreet we hit one of those.
He was up for and we decided on Bangkok Cozy on New Petchaburi Road. The bellboy at the PS got a taxi, but the driver didn’t want to take us there. I was being vague about the name of place, but I did have an address. He kept mentioning Plaza Entertainment and we kept telling him no, New Petchaburi. It turned out that his shift was ending and he didn’t want to brave the traffic on New Petchaburi Road for 100 baht. So we flagged down another taxi whose driver must have been a centenarian.
We told him to drive east on New Petchaburi while Wallstreet looked to the left and I looked to the right. Bangkok Cozy was at 2368 New Petchaburi Road on the south side of the street. Now here is the part I get confused on. I know for sure it is located before you get to Akamai Road. But two different maps I have looked at have it listed before Soi Thongler and after Soi Thongler (when coming from Asoke). Regardless, it is pretty hard to miss. There is a big Bangkok Cosy sign (spelled with the s) and you can look for it based on the picture below. Basically you can just head east on New Petchaburi from Asoke or Wireless Road. It is on the south side of the road and past RCA.

Once we noticed the place we signaled to the taxi driver and he pulled over. Wallstreet gave someone’s great, great, great grandfather a generous tip for not giving us any trouble or attempting to take us someplace else. The tip had him quite excited and thankful.
Upon entering Bangkok Cozy Wallstreet and I were both immediately impressed. It was about 5 or 6 in the evening by now and the fishbowl was packed full of nice looking ladies. There were also a few sideline ladies available. The prices quote by the papasan were the same as on the ilikemassage.com website, which had me believing this was a no farang surcharge place and we weren’t being quoted high prices.
We had some drinks, gawked at the ladies a bit and then made our selections. Wallstreet chose an 1800 baht lady and I did a 1600 baht lady. The time allotted was two hours. The lady I chose was Da and she was 25. We went upstairs and a beautiful, spacious and clean room was revealed inside.
I really had forgotten how much I love Bangkok massage parlors. The atmosphere is so nice and laid back inside, the prices are always reasonable and the facilities are always immaculate. Oh how I dream that the US would ever get some of these places all across the country or in my hometown. How cool would it be to stop by a massage parlor every other day on my way home from work? I could stop in, pay $31-$43 US dollars to get bathed and then laid in a wonderfully clean and large room for two hours by a hot 18-25 year old woman. Man. Why do I have to fly half way across the world to do this? Oh well, I can dream.
My session with Da was incredible. I had a nice bath and then we went to the bed for some terrific DFK and a nice BBBJ. I had a wonderful session with her. I finished up and headed downstairs to meet Wallstreet, but he was still going at it with his lady. He arrived a few minutes later and was equally impressed and happy with the quality of his session.

We both agreed that Bangkok Cozy was a place we’d both recommend. We caught a taxi back to the Sukhumvit area, but I was going to head to New Cleopatra to get another massage. New Cleopatra was another favorite of mine from a previous trip and I wanted to check out the place again.

Wallstreet and I agreed to meet up later in the evening. He had his steady barfine from Angel Witch and they were probably going to be barhopping later in the evening. So I headed over to New Cleopatra. Around 8 or 9 in the evening the selection was quite poor. They only had seven ladies in the fishbowl. I went upstairs to check out the model lounge, but wasn’t interested in paying a premium. The papasan recommend one lady to me, Som, who was 19. I didn’t notice her at first, but she was quite cute. I am always reluctant to take papasan recommendations and they usually try to push butt ugly ladies on me. But this one was nice looking so I agreed.
I paid and upstairs we went.

They wanted to hit Cowboy and Long Gun and I was totally up for that. Long Gun was the first Go-Go I ever visited on Soi Cowboy and I will never forget the beautiful ladies dancing to Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz. So Wallstreet and his ladies headed to Q-bar while the ladies with me headed to some after hours restaurant and pool hall right on the corner of Cowboy and Asoke. It was located upstairs on the second floor. We ate, drank some more and shot pool till around 4 or 5 am. The lesbian took off and I planned to take Nat back to the Dynasty Inn. Nat had her own scooter and asked if we could take that back instead of a taxi.
I said sure, but I wanted to drive. I started it up and promptly fell on my ass. Ok, so I guess Nat was driving. This was incredibly stupid on my part. I was drunk, she was drunk, it was sprinkling and the roads were wet. But my better judgment was quite impaired. Luckily we made it back to the hotel safely.
We got upstairs and I promptly fell asleep, as did she, as soon as I hit the bed. Around 6 or 7 in the morning I woke up to take a piss. She asked what time it was and then took off. I guess if I would have paid the barfine I would have been pissed, but I was in no condition to argue and really didn’t care. I just wanted to go back to bed. So she took off and I slept till noon. I still had plenty of fucking left in me, but I needed at least a little time to recharge now.
