Cancun is such a party town - tons of drunk college pussy everywhere, and way too many college studs chasing said pussy! As I get older, I still appreciate the bodies on display, but I tire of hearing "fuck" as every third word and get fed up with folks puking on the bus. I guess I just don't appreciate the party scene anymore.
However, when finding yourself stuck in Cancun, surrounded by bitchy american college girls and the asshole guys chasing them, I did what everyone should do ... find myself a little slice of latin love.
It just so happens that Cancun is really expensive. Having just returned the prior week from Buenos Aires where beautiful girls are cheap and getting ready to head to Cartagena Columbia, the land of the non- and semi-pros, I wasn't about to spend $300US or more for an hour. Those rates are higher than they have any right to be.
Being in a tightwad kind of mode, meant that strip clubs (with options) such as Shampoo and Bolero in the hotel zone were out. So was Plaza 21 and Chilly Willy's. I had to go local.
On a prior trip, a taxi driver had taken me to downtown Cancun to a local massage place where a passable time was had for $100US plus $25US for him to wait for me and transport both directions. However, I had done that in the afternoon and wouldn't have tried that neighborhood at midnight.
Given that it was late, I decided to try the same game and see what a taxi driver could find for me. The taxis are everywhere, but I found one sitting out near TGI Fridays away from other tourists where I could have a private conversation. The driver said that all the pussy in the hotel zone was $250US. I asked about downtown, and he said, yes there were cheaper places, but I should check out the hotel zone first. I told him that I was interested in something different from Shampoo and Bolero.
No problem, says Pedro, hop in and for 60 pesos I'll take you over. If you don't like the girls, then we'll go downtown. Ok, fair enough.
We drive over to the Maya Fair shopping center. Now there are some shops around the outside edge of this complex, but the interior is totally defunct. I'm a little nervous about being jumped, but it is well lit and nobody is around. We walk into the center where the old Hard Rock Cafe was (before it moved to the location near the RainForest Cafe). Directly opposite the door to the old Hard Rock, the driver walks up to an unmarked wooden door and presses the intercom switch. The door opens and we walk into a lobby.
The girl at the desk says $250US for 1 hour massage. I say pretty expensive, let me see the rooms and the girls. She takes me into a clean, modern room with a massage table, sink, and shower. Beautiful facility - not at all what I was expecting. Then she says, the girls will come down and introduce themselves.
The first girl is Magaly ... a seven with passable face and body in her early 20s. Second girl has braces, is about 20 years old, and rates about a 5. They turn out to be the only two available.
I start to walk out and tell the driver that we are going downtown. I tell the receptionist, thanks, but no thanks, nice facility and girls, but not worth $250US. She immediately counters with $150US.
Now I'm faced with a quandry ... significant price reduction ... bird in the hand ... no specific ideas about downtown ... midnight on a Saturday night ... walking distance to my hotel (so I can tell the driver to scram) ... safe and clean. After a moments indecision, I decide that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and accept. I give the driver 80 pesos and he takes off.
Magaly comes into the room and gives me a big hug. We start to undress and she immediately strips down to her panties and bra. Looking better than I expected, I lie down.
Magaly pulls out some almond oil and starts a massage. We talk about our travels, switching back and forth between my broken spanish and her pretty decent english. She is getting ready to go to New York City and then on to Seattle next week for a trip. She tells me jokingly that she likes the smell of the oil and offers to sell me a bottle for ten dollars.
After a passable massage of my back, I feel her take off her bra. She begins rubbing her small cone shaped breasts over my back. Surprise ... big round nipples! We do the flip and she starts massaging the good parts. She takes out a condom and proceeds to give a pretty decent, if a little short, covered bj. I was having a good time playing with her tits and forgot to ask about a bbbj, so I don't know if she would or wouldn't.
Then her panties come off, and I see a nicely trimmed box. She has a little extra on the hips, but not a lot. She puts a little of the almond oil on the condom, and then she gets on top for the ride. After a while, I switch to missionary. Then I put her legs over my shoulders and proceed to give her a good pounding.
Anyway, I had just fully recovered from Buenos Aires, so I had a fair amount of stamina and was determined to make the most of my hour. I think it was a little more than she was used to, but she got into the spirit and came along for the ride. I never felt rushed or hurried at all.
The massage bed was decently padded, so I never had trouble with my knees cramping up. We had a good time for about 30 minutes and I had a satisfying pop. Don't think she did, but she was definitely having a good time.
Afterwards, I got cleaned up in the sink and she took a shower. I figured to take a shower back at the hotel.
I gave her a small tip and slipped out of the room. Never had a knock or anything. Receptionist asked if I was satisified and I said yes. No problems getting back out to the main road.
All in all worth a repeat, but definitely wouldn't pay any more than $150US. I'm sure the taxi driver came back for a commission, so going there direct might shave some more off the top.
No muss ... no fuss, and with my attitude adjustment I can just laugh at all those bitches leading the guys on.

So how does one get to the Maya Fair shopping center?
Is that out on what they like to call the hotel zone or is that in town?

The hotel zone is one long road (Kukulkan) that heads north and then west as it curves toward downtown cancun. The open ocean is on the east side and the other has the lagoon. There are no cross streets at all.
The Maya Fair shopping center is just after the road splits as you start to head west toward town. Can't miss it really. It is about 2 stops past Coco Bongo and Senior Frogs and about 3 stops before you get to Fat Tuesdays. It is right in the middle of the hotel zone.

UW,
Hey buddy. I go down to Cancun at least once a year. You are absolutely right. It is a VERY expensive city. There are some hot girls there but it is just as expensive as a large Metro City in the USA.
Definitely not the destination to go to solely for the chicas. I usually go during the off season when there aren't any college kids around.
There are good deals to be had there but you can't go to the regular places. I have a few phone numbers if you go down again.

I went last year, I just took a chica from TJ with me. 5 days at the Sun Palace all inclusive including airfare and hotel, food as well and a couple of tours. Cost about a grand each. Wild time, crazy time, we did a lot. I would have written about it but I got lazy. Potatohead went, took his then novia with him also. Mambo cafe was great, Isla Mujeres, pyramids at Coba. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Going again in August with # 2. The beaches alone are worth the airfare.

Senorpanocha,
I'll be going in a couple of weeks with my AB travel chica. 6 nights plus airfare for two for $1300, seemed like a good deal. Fiesta Americana Cancun.
Never been there so a couple restaurant recs will be appreciated. Looking forward to a couple of meals at exclusive places with a decent wine list, no animal house crowds. The rest of the meals will be of the taco and beer variety. Also planning on renting a car and heading towards Tulum. Suggestions???

I've been there many times over the past ten years......and still love the hell out of it.
There is a great restaurant downtown called Don Emilio's. The food is excellent in Cancun and the service is typically just as good.
Don't rent a car in Cancun. The bus system is excellent and even faster than a car usually. Use a taxi only in an emergency situation.
You really don't want to be driving on the same roads as the wild bus drivers who race from one end of town to the other end all day long.
The road to Tulum is better traveled in an air conditioned bus with a beer in your hand sitting on comfortable cushioned seats. After all, you are supposed to be on vacation.
Just don't get talked into taking a daytrip by bus to ChickenPizza (my preferred way of referring to the pyramid outing). It is an extreme waste of your valuable time and leaves you longing to get back to the beach as quickly as possible.
It is a lot like living in SD at the beach and taking a bus trip to El Centro just to walk around the old city square and then come back.
Pyramids are fascinating but you can see ruins at Tulum and still enjoy your day in the water there.
In fact, there is only one bad thing about Cancun, and that is that it is difficult to find gainful employment there.......if it were otherwise, I'd move there in a heartbeat.
Have a great time. I am envious as hell...

Don Emilio's it is!! I ain't takin' buses.
By uwphoto on Friday, June 21, 2002 - 06:55 am: Edit |
Really, the buses are the best way to get around in Cancun. There is only one road, so it is impossible to get lost. Any bus with the words hotel zone will get you home. The fare is 6 pesos. Minimum cab fare is 50 pesos just to open the door.
Buses run every two to three minutes and stops are everywhere you'd want to go. Taxis are really only needed if you have luggage or are in a big hurry.

You just posted the following message on hotel dorymar. Can you give me more info? Like how to talk to about getting a room and girl here for the night? I'm heading to Playa for in April and I'm very interested.
Did you go to Chilly Willy's and meet the girls first?
