Then I started reflecting about the experience. So let’s break it down.

1. Rushed to make a decision because he doesn’t have “space” to be hangout bar.
2. Accosted and told that I pissed him when I couldn’t make a decision.
3. Chose two ladies despite this
4. As I was leaving to fuck my ladies, mocked by Marc at one of the selections I had made
5. No pictures allowed at all now, clothed or unclothed
6. Small, crappy, ill-equipped room on the top floor of a nearby hotel that you need to walk over to enter.
7. Old, used up women whose better days were behind them 3-5 years ago.
8. Good, high level service but it seems quite mechanical now since they do so many guys per day.

I am sorry and I know Khun_Mor is going to defend his friend Marc again, but I simply cannot recommend this place anymore. The only reason I can see to go there now is if someone has a specialty request like anal, BDSM, pissing, cum sharing, swallowing or something else that is not normally provided. Other than that, I would say skip the Eden Club.

So is my opinion of the place influenced by my experience with Marc? Absolutely it is. But I think I also listed enough other reasons above about why the place is only a mere shadow of its former self and why it is no longer a Bangkok must do (In my honest opinion). It is now a Bangkok, ehhhhhhhhhhhh. Go there, don’t go there. But I don’t recommend it anymore. Marc has attained full asshole status with me now and is a detriment to the place for being there. The service, while still solid is not the same “blow me away WOW!” experience it was previously.

Marc has pissed off a lot of people with his attitude. He has just as many detractors as he does supporters. I remember reading his detractors before in 2002 and 2003 and blowing them off because I had never experienced that side of Marc. But I have now and it is not pretty.

Once back at Nana Plaza I went to Hollywood downstairs and barfined the two friends I had met there the previous night. Don’t remember their names, so I will call them by their ages, 20 and 22. I told them I would return later and went upstairs.

I had dinner at Woodstock and ended up chatting with the English bar manager of Hollywood 2 and Hollywood Carousel. I had an interesting conversation with him about how the social order crackdown and the bars not being allowed to show has made this one of their worst years financially.

I went up to check out the Hollywood bars with him and actually asked him if he knew Khun_Mor’s Mem. He said the ladies come and go so quickly he couldn’t keep track of them and didn’t know her. He got me a beer and hung out for a little while before finally taking off. I stayed and ordered one more beer, but couldn’t find anything I wanted.

I cannot and will not defend Marc for his treatment of you. That is outrageous even by the obnoxious French standards. I do agree that Eden has slowly but steadily declined in it's selection of girls , but most of all that God awful short time hotel they use is a horrible dump. The ceillings are about 6 foot tall so I cannot even stand up straight in the room.The showers are crappy and the aircon sucks. I have told Marc upfront if he cannot open up his own rooms again or get a better hotel that I will not be back . I made my first two visit to Eden club last trip. The first experience was unconditionally mind blowing. The girls were both reasonably attractive aside from some minor baby damage to both of them. There attitude and performance was unparalleled. BTW they did let me take clothed pictures.

But........ I was so blown away the first time I just had to do it again so as I was headed from Pattaya to the airport I squeezed in a quick stopover enroute. Showed up right at opening time suitcase in hand on my way to the airport. The second time I was somewhat disappointed. The girls weren't as attractive and the prettier one I chose turned out to be all scarred up from that wrist slashing thing they do once she was naked. Her friend was not that great either. I participated in the Eden experience twice (one on-site and one at the hotel). I found that I chose the least ugly of the girls rather than the prettiest, because there were none (to me) that were remotely pretty.

If you can get past the "looks" of the girls (and this is especially difficult for me when comparing them to young go-go girls) then WW's suggestion of taking the girls out all night at your hotel is the best idea.

Marc is a fine example that some hombres too can be on the rag; although in Marc's case it is about half the time. I have visited Eden's maybe five times, with an additional two take-out sessions. Two or three times Marc was friendly, and I couldn't understand why people slammed him. The other times he was the opposite. The problem is when you are in a customer service business, acting appropriately 50 percent of the time doesn't cut it.
