I see that you also spent a good bit of time at the Pacific disco, lots of cuties when I was there also. Did you check out the other discos?

Merlin, I recently wrote a review of the three main discos after recent visits. Write now Pacific is by far the best. Planet until recently was the best, but now is overrun with local scummy gangster wannabe dudes. Some very good FL still are loyal to Planet, so I will still pop in and do a quick survey of the talent somtimes especially if Pacific is dead. With the shift in the disco status, I am reconsidering moving home base from the Island View/Planet Holiday hotels to the Novotel hotel.

1) Sphinx - Put a fork in her. I made my first ever trip to Sphinx on Thursday night around 1AM and stuck around for one hour. Thursday is ladies night and the famous night to be at Sphinx. What did I find a very very sparse crowd, a horrible phyiscal layout, and a 75K Rum and Coke!!!!! But I didn't have to pay a cover charge. The few ladies were only old hardcore type, that looked OK but wanted 300K ST. Aahahahahaahaha. I was the only available whitey in the place. To top thing off they had some crappy lingerie attired girls (with a dude) dancing on stage. An awful weak response to the rather intriguing and erotic little dance thing they put on at Planet (Also have at Pacific but there it's like straight go0go dancing). Icing on the cake; one of the dancers made her way to me way far away bypassing almost every other peron in the disco just to ask me and only me for a tip. I politely declined, but I was steaming inside. IMHO, absolutely no reason togo to this place.

2) Planet Disco - This has been my favorite Disco since I started going to Batam. In fact I really loved staying at either of the two adjacent hotels to facilitate multiple short time sessions over the course of an evening. Bad news is that this place has totally slipped. Selection of girls has dried up, the gangster security and front door people have grown surly and belligerent (too both bules and ceweks). While the ceweks ranks have dimished, the disco is now swamped with low life small or wannabe local gangster guys. Shit these scumbags are all over the guys more than the girls. I had a local guy trying to be aggressive and get me to buy him X! What once I considered a relatively nonthreatening safe environment chuck of pretty girls who would try to woo you is now a rather threatening environment with local wannebees constantly harassing me by trying to hoist girls on you and force themselves into your drinking cirlce. The over bearing presence of the local scum makes me and the girls I know less than comfortable. I am not going to pay the big prices of a disco and be uncomfortable. BTW whiskey and coke 50K here. I will still pop my head in from time to time here and hope things improve, but it's now a distant second in preference

3) Pacific - Thankfully I have found where the good selection of free lancers has gone. This place is huge so even when there are literally several thousand people there it nots jammed packed. Even on a slow night (Last Friday) where it appears half empty, I still saw literally over a 100 available girls that I would enthusiastically take home. Also the staff and secruity here are pleasant and reasonable, and the presence of local scum wannabe gangsters here is minimal. I guess here is were the real gangsters are who aren't going to waste time trying to small change hustle the bules. Shoot I may have to check out the Novotel hotel as a potential new home base. One could clearly do the multiple short time thing I like do out of Pacific while based in Novotel. Oh yes one more thing whiskey and coke is 38K.

Excellent summation MX, I've always been partial to hanging out at discos wherever I go for the thrill of the hunt and to actually have to pickup a date (some girls actually were turning down guys). But most were very eager to hookup, I even had one girl who wanted to go with me if I bought her some pills from the local pusher (she was ugly so I passed).

I gotta check out Planet disco next time and will bypass Sphynx. The Pacific disco scene itself could keep a Monger busy for weeks. I pulled two of the best freelancers I had in a long time out of there and still have fond memories.
