It took 4 flights and more than 36 hours to get me to Bangkok from my home in Mexico, and a couple of fuck ups by my original carrier PINCHE America West made me miss a scheduled dinner with Epimetheus and Khun Mor in L.A. where I was supPOSED to have a several hour layover before heading for my China Airlines flight to Asia. I had actually booked the Asia flight via a Delta codeshare this time, as it was a good $100 cheaper to do so. My ticket to BKK cost a little more than $900, a significant increase over anything I had ever paid before for a trip to Asia. With no SARS scares this summer, I think the airlines were hellbent on making up some of the lost revenues from cheap fares from the previous 18 mos. during peak summer travel season from the U.S. And indeed, the plane was PACKED, whereas on my first trip to Asia post-SARS scare last July, the same flight had been barely half-full.

I arrived in LA nearly 5 hours late, and I ended up only being able to meet with Epi for an hour or so as I checked in for my flight to Taipei. There was a nearly disastrous incident where I actually lost my ticket, which fell out of the travel jacket while some rent a cop was telling me I was standing in the wrong line while I was rummaging through one of my bags trying to get my documents straight. A frantic search of Epi’s car didn’t turn anything up, and I finally decided that I’d have to beg and plead for a re-ticket at the counter, which had Epi extremely pessimistic about my chances of success.

But when I took a chance and asked the security guard that had been such a dick if he had found a ticket, he said he had, and told me to talk to the ticket agent at the counter and check if it was mine. A minute later I was the happiest little pervert on EARTH and gleefully headed to the cattle call to X-ray baggage for the TON of redeye flights preparing to leave for Asia at that time of night.

The flight was thankfully free of turbulence this time, and I was able to get a bit of sleep with no drugs or booze. Due to the Delta codeshare, I actually had to fly EVA Air to Bangkok from Taipei, and while the 3 hour layover seemed interminable so early in the morning, once I got on the flight I was pretty happy with EVA’s individual entertainment system, though how I could watch the Rock’s attempt at Buford Pusser and Starsky and Hutch 3 times through on a 3 hour flight has me scratching my head a bit now. With pirated DirecTV now offline, about the only movies I SEE these days are on airplanes.

There was a small line at immigration, but it moved quickly enough, especially when they started waving people over to the empty ‘Thai Citizens Only’ lines – traveler’s tip – ALWAYS try and be in the farang passport line next to one of those. I collected my luggage, hit the ATM for 9900 baht, grabbed a taxi out front for 50 baht over the meter price, plus tolls (~300 baht all told), and was dropped off in front of Dynasty Inn on Soi 4 by 1 PM, and within an hour after stepping off the plane.

While the rooms at Dynasty are not super fancy and there is no pool, the rooms in the new wing in back are BRAND new, are in a PERFECT location, have CRANKING air conditioning and great water pressure, the staff’s friendly and generally competent and it’s an EXCELLENT value at 990 baht per night. I also paid for the next two nights at the new Dynasty Hotel on Soi 13 in Pattaya so I could take advantage of Dynasty’s free shuttle van service to Pattaya, which was exTREMELY convenient.

While this was my third trip to Thailand, I hadn’t really spent a lot of time in Bangkok before. But I always enjoy my time there, especially with the buzz in the air that always seems to surround the Sukhumvit/Soi 4 area. As it was early afternoon and I had some time to kill before a scheduled date with my previous Bangkok fave (Tummy Girl), I went and got some lunch (the Thai food center on the corner of Soi 5 and Sukhumvit), checked the internet for awhile, and then headed to a number of travel agencies to book my ticket to Manila for after my planned return from Singapore/Indonesia.

I was hoping to get the Manila ticket for around $200, but the best I could apparently do was ~9600 baht (baht was ~ 40-1 during my trip), which was a little disappointing. After doing some pretty serious shopping, I went to Epi’s recommended travel agent on Soi 3, and bought a ticket on Philippine Airlines for 9100 baht, with the travel dates flexible, but the outbound trip limited for Mon-Thurs travel (though I was SURE I heard SUNDAY thru Thursday from the travel agent, which stuck in my head), a detail that would become VERY important later.

With the major errand run, I decided to walk around for a bit and see if I could see some places close to Dynasty that I hadn’t been to before. I popped into Gulliver’s on Soi 5, which seemed to have a lively billiards area, but not much in the way of lustful hotties beating a path to proposition me, at least at that time of the afternoon. I also found Lólita's across Sukhumvit, which was just the opposite, where 3 separate girls hit on me while I nursed the first beers of the day to take me upstairs for a 600 baht blow job. Unfortunately, they were the lower tier girls in looks, and I only had eyes for the cute, petite bartender who was busy with some manager guy going over the till/books, and seemed quite shy. And with my impending date, I wanted a full chamber in anticipation of firing off several rounds that night.

After Lólita's I hit the beer bars on Soi 4 to have a few beers and wait for 6 PM to roll around for my date. Bus Stop Beer Bar still has super cute waitresses/GRO’s, and many still seemed to be a bit aloof about going with customers. I had a couple beers with one of the partners at Tequila Pub, and he told some interesting stories of living and working and marrying in Thailand. Some bureaucrat inspector showed up while I was there, and my farang friend didn’t move a muscle to even acknowledge the dude, telling me afterward that the ‘fine’ they ended up paying that afternoon would have been triple if HE had dealt with things rather than his bartender wife.

I headed back to Dynasty to wait for Tummy Girl, expecting her to be there already and DAMNED happy to see me, as she had been twice before in December/January, but not only wasn’t she there, she didn’t show for the next half hour, and I began to wonder if something had happened to her. Through previous emails I knew she had a couple of guys online supporting her, with talk of an impending marriage to an older German guy, but having received a phone call from her a week before and an email two days before I left that she was dying to see me, this all seemed very strange.

Of course being in a town with all of the fleshy delights that Bangkok has went a LOOONG way towards consoling me, and when the watch struck 6:32, I figured I’d go see some for myself! I headed the mere steps to Nana Plaza, and while things weren’t fully up and running yet, there were some quite entertaining girls at the beer bar right in front of the bottom floor go gos, and I had a few drinks there and bought a couple for some girls who started quoting me some pretty outrageous prices, of 600 baht barfine and 2000 baht short time. At a BEER BAR with no air con? I also noticed that after drinking Singha for a couple of hours, I was feeling a little woozy and needing a nap. I realize that the beer in Asia is rather strong, but I SWEAR there’s something about Singha that is beyond just alcohol content as far as an intoxicating effect. I would not be drinking any more of that shit for the rest of my trip.

In addition to my (now aborted) date with Tummy Girl, I was quite excited about meeting up with Merlin, whose reports and pics I had always thoroughly enjoyed. Like me, he was just passing through Bangkok between trips to Cambodia and Singapore and Indonesia, and he was indeed waiting in the lobby at midnight, and we had a chance to talk for a bit while I had a snack to try and counter the effects of the Singha. Merlin told tales of Batam that I couldn’t even really picture yet in my mind but I’d remember vividly once I actually got there and saw for myself a week later. Merlin was great company, and it was tempting to just stay in the lobby of Dynasty and shoot the shit with him, but as the 2 AM deadline loomed, we both figured that gee, maybe we ought to go out and at least TRY and find some female companionship?

I mentioned that I had never actually been inside Angel’s Disco across the street inside the Nana Hotel, and as it sounded good to Merlin, we made our way over and paid the 200 baht cover, which included our first drink. Security made me check my fanny pack with camera inside, which wasn’t real convenient, but since Merlin was already inside, protesting didn’t seem productive.

When we got inside about 12:30, the place was what I would consider PACKED. All tables occupied with dudes, girls hanging out in little groups throughout the place. I can’t even remember much about the music, other than it was loud enough to limit conversation but not ear-splitting. I found the girls there that night (Friday) to be attractive but not overwhelmingly hot, and was a little disconcerted that there were so many people there. I don’t like crowds.

Merlin did his best to get me out of my funk, however, finding us a table and plying me with a couple more beers that got the energy level up SLIGHTLY. Though it took awhile to make eye contact with her, I finally approached a girl about 5 yards behind us that had been steadily buying drinks for herself and chain smoking while dancing up quite a sweat. She had what I thought to be a cute face, but also a thin body and what seemed to be AMAZING legs. The more I had looked at her, the more attractive I thought she was.

As it was very close to closing time when I approached her and the music was still playing at pretty high volume, deep, meaningful conversation didn’t seem promising. She mentioned that she was a sales girl at MBK and had to work in the morning, so that she couldn’t stick around for more than a few hours, which was no skin of my ass, as I only wanted to bang the hell out of her. I did manage to confirm that 1K baht wouldn’t offend her, and pretty soon we were headed out at almost the exact time the lights came on. Merlin had also found a winner, and headed out into the night with her.

Back in the room 2 minutes later, my little freelancer was both playful and passionate, and still had plenty of liquid energy from the drinks in the bar (that luckily I didn’t have to pay for! Gotta love the freelancer joints!!!). She delivered some damned good quality head and some spirited covered full service. It seemed quite a shame to pump a heftily built-up load into a rubber for the first bang of the trip, but it also beat the hell out of jerking off!

Unfortunately I hadn’t whipped out the camera with her until after round one was finished and she was getting dressed to head off to CHURCH she said (a Thai Christian, supposedly), as she seemed to like posing. I probably could have had a second round if I had pushed for it, but knew I was headed for Soi 6 in Pattaya the next day and had 30+ more days of debauchery coming, so I didn’t want to shoot so many bullets in rapid fire fashion that I’d be lacking in the leche department so soon into my trip. I sent her away with the promised 1000, and eventually drifted off to sleep alone reflecting on the day’s events (What HAD happened to Tummy Girl?) and what the remainder of the trip had in store. The looong, strange adventure had begun.

Great start as usual.
I have tried many times to take the bartender from Lólita's upstairs to no avail although I am sure she has her price. She is by FAR the best looking pooying there. She is just the bartender and does not BF she told me. Surprisingly she has 2 young kids-- like most Thai girls it does not show on the outside. Never saw her belly though. That's why she's at Lólita's. Good pay I guess just for opening beers compared to where she used to work.

At Lólita's the girls looks are far less important than at other venues. In those dark little corners it is far more her skills that are on display than her body or face. Some of the more or less average girls there will rock your world while the lookers will " suck " and not in a good way .

There is no barfine at Angels. Its a disco basically filled with freelancers. Past couple of years they started charging a 200 baht cover to get in . That sucks- used to be free . I think the overall quality of the freelancer at Angels has gone downhill. Porker definitely found a beauty !!
You gotta check out the pooying available at Hollywood disco sometime-- friggin fantastic. Most of the talent unfortunately wasted on Thai dudes, but I see more and more farang guys venturing there. Worth it for sure if you can score one of those sexy babes.

Angels disco is one of my fav's in Bangkok. I have routinely picked up girls there and given them 1,000 baht. I know I have said it before, but myself and my friends who live in bangkok never pay a freelancer more than 1,000 baht. Of course its all up to you guys, and depending on the service you get the decision is yours. The only thing i would insist on is don't bargin with the girls before you go.....
